Without wanting to derail discussion, but still it is somewhat connected - should Bush be called for crimes against USA for lying about weapons of mass destruction and after acknowledging that he followed voices in his head that told him to attack Iraq?

It still amuses me that he managed to get second term... and kind of worries me at the same time.

I thought it over, and you're not derailing the thread. This is about political ideology after all and how people are using their opinions on how they conduct business.

Bush didn't lie, he was played. He was fed information from various intel agencies across the world that Iraq had WMD. As far as he was concerned, he was telling the truth at the time. As well as Colin Powell, who eventually resigned because he was so pissed off over it.

And we did find WMD. I know, because I was there, I saw it. But it was old stuff, fairly degraded and not in quantity either. But it doesn't take much to really do a job on a target.

I was never amused when Bush got a second term though I didn't like Kerry either, but I'm absolutely terrified that Obama got another.

This would only be a problem if you are gay. Obviously this guy doesn't want to make any money. I congratulate the other half for keeping cool and walking away!

But I guess that since it is this admin is wiretapping the entire world, it must be OK.

Yeah, because Obama started the NSA and started them spying /sarcasm

People who try to make claims like this are surprised why they aren't taken seriously. You make a ridiculous claim that Obama started the NSA spying on people...and you are surprised when people write you off???

Wait...it gets better.

You complain about the New York Times and then turn around and post a link to a Conservative Activist blog for evidence of Obama's "crimes"....are you fricken kidding? Do you honestly not see your hypocrisy???

Where did I say that Obama started the NSA? And even though it is a conservative website doesn't mean that you should just write it off does it? I read both left and right AND alternative newsites and that link actually has proof that the POTUS should not only be impeached, but imprisoned. Of course, we all know that will never happen.

Look into the mirror. There just might be a hypocrite staring back at you.

That's where the problem lies, so many people don't want to believe things aren't quite "right" in the U.S., no matter what, to the point where they will do things like this, turning away business, just to keep believing things are the way they were, "back in the day".

How do you deduce that "the guy" doesn't want to believe that things aren't quite right in the US? How can you even come to such a conclusion? BECAUSE he didn't agree with the stupid "Impeach Obama" sign?

Can you comprehend that people may be well aware that things are "not right", but they do NOT have to be tea-party supporters, not even R voters! Do you think that people who voted for Obama and still support Obama think that everything "is all-right" and only those on the right spectrum "know that things are not alright"?

Do you think that liberals think that "everything is alright"?

Do you think that the one and the only way to "correct things" is to "impeach Obama"...as the OP obviously thinks?

Do you think/Are you aware of that not everyone agrees with this and that some people see the reasons for problems entirely different than you or the OP?

Ahhh, sorry, just for you: Fox News: www.foxnews.com...

Seems that we are in distress for a long... ever since Obama took office...

I really don't consider them reputable either. Though I do think that they have the best looking news babes. But that is just the hormones talking.

I absolutely hate TV news.

Turning the thought around on the car dealer, he wasn't going to do a deal that he thought was unprofitable for him. So be glad that he showed his true self prior to your adding to his bottom line. Idiots like that do not need to have your financial support.

All this back and forth partisan posting is keeping me entertained. It's funny. Reminds me of:

The bottom line is the this car dude had a problem with the buyers politics and didn't want to do business. Happens every day. Could just as easily have been a pro Obama bumper sticker that another car dude could have had a problem with. That's how screwy the political climate in the States is. You want to protest? Fine. Just don't forget Newton's 3rd law.

I wouldn't do business with the KKK, I wouldn't do business with the black panthers...and for a similar reason, I wouldn't do business with you or your husband once I saw the flag and those signs.

A very typical Leftist argument, I mean really, comparing the KKK and the Black Panthers to a persons right to express their opinion without harming or endangering anyone. Rules for radicals anyone?

It is funny that I really dislike Obama's policies (NSA, drone attacks, not doing anything for gun controls, ...) but at the moment I don't see anyone better on political scene. Historically we are good at selecting wrong people for the job, 8 years of Bush is clear sign of that.

I wish that politician get forced to wear signs of their supported, just like NASCAR racers - so that by looking at one you know who they represent. (something Robin Williams said in his stand up
) - that would give us better picture as why we are in situation we are in right now...

I still think that OPs political statement is wrong and at wrong time...

Maybe my hypocrisy is glaring to you but I see it as honesty. I used to read that rag, and have since written it off. It's obsolete, both in its ideology and meaningless crap that they write. I may be missing some gold nuggets, but their past has tainted my opinion of them.

Like beforeitsnews, or the Weekly World News or even The Onion, I just can't take anything that rag says seriously. I can't wait until it folds. And it will.

Yup, I was involved in a war protest / Bush protest back when Bush was in office....In Texas, no less. We were denigrated, marginalized, spat at, told that we were dirty hippies and we needed to get jobs (I had just gotten off work and went straight the protest, LOL), and other assorted insults that T&Cs prohibit me from repeating here.

I hated him with a purple passion. He was a moron, a pathetic sock puppet, and his administration dragged us into two countries which we're STILL in, for no good reason.

But Obama.....after 5 years of his smirking, lying face, all his supporters can say is "What about Bush?' Well? What about him? The American people didn't see fit to call him on the carpet for his war crimes. But what has Obama done? Taken this sick game to a whole new level. The American people won't do anything about this Bozo, either.

I had a philosophy professor in college, long ago when "I can't recall" Reagan was in office, who said that, as long as the American people had a roof over their head, food and beer in the fridge, a ride in their driveway, and football on the TV, they will accept anything the government does to them or in their name overseas. However, take away the roof, the food and beer, the vehicle, and the TV, and they will rise up like nobody has ever seen before.

Is that what it's going to take, America? They're doing it slowly, but surely. I'll bet they have plans to allow you one can of beer a day in a FEMA camp, so you'll be happy and say that people are crazy for complaining about it.

They can express their opinion, just like the KKK and the Black Panthers can...but their are still consequences for your actions. And who exactly is the radical...the salesman that wishes not to associate with someone who is putting on display some very radical and crazy beliefs...or the people putting those radical and crazy beliefs on display?

And are you aware you are guilty of the exact thing you are accusing me of?

did it ever occur to some that having such a constant negative mindset against the government, is going to elicit the type of sentiments that the car dealer had? the majority of people want to get through what happened in 2008, and want our government to work together to fix problems, not to bitch, year after year about how bad it is...has anyone had that relative that every time you see them, all they do is complain about how bad their life is? and yet, never take positive steps to improve or get the help to improve.

Do you honestly believe that the only problem with America was the mortgage meltdown in 2008? Just a one-off problem?

I have some gorgeous beach-front property in Arizona I'd be happy to sell you.

Anybody who has a positive mindset about the hot mess we call a government is either asleep or on happy pills. Yet here you are on ATS. Things that make you go "Hmmmm".

Well thank you, I indeed have a very happy life.

It helps that I don't walk around pissed off all the time because of false manufactured scandals. In short, I don't let someone play me like a puppet.

Good on you that you have a happy life. I wish that would spread around a bit more.

But how do you know the puppet knows it's a not a puppet?
