In noting your work with IANDS (something that is of high personal interest to me), I would like to know your answer to how you feel about current NDE research and its potential impact.

As with all such research it varies. I found Proof of Heaven quite compelling because of the occupation of the author. Unfortunately it is very difficult to obtain funding for serious studies in the area and most stories are anecdotal.

It is an honor to have you here with us, Mr Alexander, very impressive journey and this is already a very impressive AMA.

I know your plate is guetting quite full already, but if you have time, my question would relate to this sentence from your opening statement:

We saw things that can’t happen” but did.

Example, please. Could you tell us one of those stories, a sort of ATS exclusive?

Thank you so much for your time, Sir.

~Son.

Welcome to ATS and thank you very much for your time.

Are you currently bound by any secrecy agreements or confidentiality oaths or anything of that nature? I'm sure you would have been at one time, just curious as to whether they are still in effect. Thank you.

Security oaths are for life. That said, I've never encountered any regarding UFOs.

I find your answer to this post intriguing....logically, it says that you were never given government access to highly classified UFO information, which would have required a "security oath for life"...or... government didn't have any viable information at all, in regards to UFO's...or...you were given the same information and access as any standard military man of your rank would have......yet you were in the military and government, and say that "security oaths are for life"...which would indicate that any information concerning government secrets involving our own craft, our own space programs, our own advanced space propulsion systems, etc....could not, and will not, be divulged by you............ my question is...was your response to this members post intentionally answered in this manner?

Welcome Dr Alexander. It's truly an honor and a pleasure to have you join us here for a Q&A. Thanks for your service to our country.

Have you ever heard of or encountered a Major Jack Downing, reportedly a real deal second-generation member of the Black Ops Brethren/ MiB? If so, any idea whatever happened to him?

Believe you are addressing a fictional character in books

Hello Colnel

Welcome to ATS, I have a fascination with black eyed kids, or BEK's

Have you ever had cause to come to any conclusion as to their existence or agenda ?

Assuming of course you have had cause to investigate them

Hello Mr. Alexander,

My question is, what can you tell us about the "Giants" that lived upon the Earth? Almost every culture has stories of these giant men, Such as those referred to as the Mississippi Mound Builders. Are they still with us today?

Have heard similar tales but I'm not aware of any such groups today. That said, human height is increasing at a very rapid rate.

Hello Colonel , I had to say it like that as because .. Well you were a Colonel and is a great pleasure on this site it shows how respectable this site is we really do appreciate your time

Question: (sorry if someone has already said this I've jumped the very last page)

You said you've travelled all 7 continents, Antarctica. May I ask what your business was there? You don't have to answer that obviously and also do you have any knowledge or have heard of UFO stories surrounding the frozen continent, operation high jump (I think) what was that about

That's one hell of a resume.
Thanks for your time here.
Why is there total denial by the scientific community and governments of the World on U.F.O's when i know 100% they are real having seen one myself in broad daylight.
Also can you give me an instance of what should not have happened but did concerning your investigations in Shamanism.

There is a difference between denial and not caring. Most scientist don't care and are not interested in the facts. In the book I devote a chapter on why governments don't get involved - too many of today's problems.

Hi John --

In your judgement, what is it (as many facts on as many topics as you'd like to share off the top of your head) that you know or have come to realize through your research, that the everyday member of ATS does NOT know?

Thanks,

"Recommend an old book Conjuring Up Phillip. There is hard evidence to support your claim."

Thank you for that, I looked up the synopsis of the book and experiment. And that was the phenomena I was referring to. Now it would appear that some are more "intune" with capability in my experiences. And perhaps geographical location is to be considered as well. It also would seem ( with the experiments and results we produced) that their is a way to rally these abilities amongst individuals and groups to produce a
"collective will".

To me it appears that we are the creators of a lot of phenomena and thru collective wills and conscience that we are almost guide and somewhat steer the metaphysical. Such as observation causes effect in physics perhaps the same in metaphysics with the conscience .

Have you done any research into this effect of the conscience (observer) effect on the metaphysical in your research?

Things that are paraphysical are a little harder to apply this to as opposed to metaphysical in my humble opinion.

In the past several years, you have spoken extensively about shamanism - particularly that which is practiced in South America, whose shamans utilize the hallucinogenic brew 'ayahuasca'. You have brought up the important work of Dr. Rick Strassman and the research he did with DeeMT, which was the first legal, FDA-approved psychedelic study conducted in America since the 1960s. All signs point to psychedelics being a sufficient catalyst for the human mind to open up to paranormal experiences [as well as more tangible and positive benefits such as healing from mental health disorders etc].

Given that all psychedelic substances are still Schedule 1 (illegal), many people advocate the legalization of this particular class of drugs, and suggest a revamping of the War on Drugs. What is your position on the legalization and Drug War issue?

Good afternoon, Sir. My late grandfather was a colonel in the USAF and was in SAC, MAC and MAJCOM. When he retired, he traveled the world a bit and then settled into a habit of golfing, fishing, painting and hanging out with his officer buddies at the OC at Fort Lewis. I just want to say that between the two paths that each of you took in retirement, yours seems to be infinitely more interesting and would've been the choice that I would have personally made.

I lived out on the Navajo reservation for almost 10 years . After witnessing a skinwalker, I spent the majority of that time collecting information and accounts on the subject. It was a mind blowing and life altering experience. Ranches, from what I discerned, were generally a target for skinwalker activity. In your time on the Skinwalker Ranch, did you get the opportunity to see a skinwalker in action? If you did, what did you think of what you saw?

No, there was a fictional character back in the 1800's which can confuse the topic. The person I'm referring to is contemporary to the 1960s-70s. But your answer answers my question.

Thanks.

Nick Pope has put out some pretty good material and there have been a few good cases in the MOD files that were released.

I see there's a pic of you and Nick Pope on your website. I suspect you have been given the same brief as Mr. Pope and it goes something like this-

Look, they know there's something there. THEY KNOW. So it is unrealistic to try to get them to believe there's nothing there. We tried that before and it failed. So here's what you do. Say there's something there but be vague. Don't go into detail. Just wave your arm around and say 'Something but we dunno what'. Keep it simple.

See ya...

I have not had that problem. There are both the monograph I wrote and a shorter piece co-authored with Mark. The monograph can also be accessed through the Joint Special Operations University web site and is available to the public.

With that said, does that mean you believe the official story regarding the JFK assassination?

Lots of GREAT replies here about the UFO enigma and sounds like you've read and discussed a lot with Dr. Jacques Vallee.

Forgot to mention, Jacques is a personal friend and wrote a foreword for my book.

Lovette incident at White Sands Missile Test range? and the mutilation of his body ,the person who witness this was a Major William Cunningham he was cleared of charges that he murder Mr.Lovelette.The body of Mr.Lovette was mutilated in the same manner as the cattle mulilations. Is for one the military involved in the cattle mutilations and what in your opinion on the Loveltte case

Don't know the case beyond what is on the net. I do not believe the USG is involved in cattle mutilations as it make no sense. Did address that in the book.

Wow,

Jim Channon, there's a name I haven't heard since I was too young to know better. Do you hear anything from him these days? It seems that today's international climate of asymmetric warfare would just the thing for the First Earth Battalion.
