Because they invited people to watch, film and record what they were doing and many bystanders actually tried to intervene and find out what the hell was going on.. It seems it was clear they had no intention of harming "civilians" and were waiting for the cops to show up...

There is no rollback. Not really.. It is actually quite normal behaviour. Had it been seemingly random, not targeted, people will run but in this situation where it seems a person has been singled out, then people will not flee and some will intervene.

In this context, where we're discussing the possibility of an Islamic attack and someone questions whether it is religious or political, I am correct to point out radical Islam is both. Any other religion need not apply right now, as it is not pertinent to the discussion.

I have to agree that the photo above is strange, I would have thought anyone out for vengeance in the name of Allah wouldnt think twice about not harming others who were nearby.
