So, is Jon actually legitimate like readers have speculated?
Is that why the kingsguard at the tower fought to death with Ned? Because, they were protecting who they assumed was their king at the time?

Poor Dickon.

Yes poor Dickon. I would have preferred it to be Dickoff.

I believe Tarly had previously disowned Samwell, but in view of the fact all the males of Tarly House are now deceased, will this make Samwell Lord Tarly? His mother is going to want him to come home, I bet.

Sam gave up his rights to his house when he took the black, he would have to break his sworn oath and risk the death penalty for claiming his title. Remember, he was the one who talked Jon out of heading to Winterfell to off Ramsay before he got his constitution ruined by the people who stabbed him.

Sam also told the other brothers to catch Jon the first time he tried to leave the wall to go fight with Robb.

I don't know if it was just a coincidence or if the producers planned it, but having Dany brutally execute a father and son could perhaps be compared to her father brutally executing Rickard and Brandon Stark.
