Thats the answer! Carbon Monoxide and a bazillion gallons of liquid through thousands of miles of tunnels.....Okay.

Serious Question How do you surgically strike a dispersed war machine, underground and buried under mountains?
Answer: you don't..You put feet on the ground and fight

True, but the tunnels are for a North Korean attack. You flood the tunnels and the North Korean troops can't get in. (maybe their superiors will start shooting them when they refuse to go in?) South Korea and USA can bomb them like crazy if they're in the open.

The problem is the artillery.

China controls this lil whack job 100 percent. China wants and needs NK to attack now so China can take down Taiwan while the U.S. is really stretched thin. Once the U.S. and Japan have their Naval forces tied up fighting lil Kim they will make their move.

Given we have a Part time wussy leader they think it is now or never. If NK even fuel's one large missile they will see a flash, then wake up in hell. Our Admirals would see that flash warning message about NK preparing to fire a nuke and to protect the battle groups the Admirals would send up fighters with nukes, screaming to NK while all the Aegis Destroys in the area thump anything NK sends up. If China were smart they would shut up before one or more of our Ohio class subs turns them and NK into a giant parking lot within 15 minutes.

If this idiot was serious, why would he be announcing his strategic, movements?

Sounds like a horse and pony show,

the past month or two, we have been threatened with nukes, and more then one conventional war,

There is a ulterior motive here, more then what meets the eye, only an idiot would make such announcements and think they could win..

I just posted that pic on the VICE Guide to a N. Korean Invasion.

Nice Logitec mouse bro...got one of those in my closet from like 10 years ago! I bet it's either a PacMan arcade game, or a SWEET emulator setup with a ton of arcade games.

Maybe they put Contra on it, and have him convinced they are actually controlling top-secret N. Korean robots in battle..

What worries me more than empty threats from North Korea is the sickos who think retaliating by firing a 'nuke' is acceptable AT ALL.

Firing a nuclear weapon and putting all of that radiation into the atmosphere just because a few MILITARY bases get attacked is inexcusable.

You obviously don't have a firm grasp on how radiation works. Some nuclear dust could end up in the atmosphere, but it's the settling of that material that is the problem.

No one is going to fire a nuke, even if NK manages to launch some low grade nuke, the response will not be with a nuclear weapon. The proximity to South Korea, as well as other countries in the area poses a serious, no no on that one. The currents in that area would blow nuclear fall out into "friendly" countries, which is pretty much the opposite of what you want to do to your friends. Not to mention that giant effing nuclear power to the North of NK, who would probably be none to happy with a nuclear weapon being used in their proximity.

Outside of the Blast radius, the radiation exposure to the rest of NK or even the surrounding countries wouldn't be that worrisome, but giving a nuclear power any reason to grief you just isn't a good idea.

I really doubt the US will use a nuke in that region. It would be a PR nightmare.

I think it's important to make sure we all agree on the term Nuclear Weapon, personally. If they drop a megaton class or even high kiloton yield weapn? I agree. North Korea is VERY small in terms of literal mileage from coast to coast or from the Chinese Border to the open water. An large scale detonation would be ...catastrophic and akin to killing a mouse with a block of C-4 explosive. Sure..you get the mouse ....you blow the whole house to sticks too.

On the other hand...The U.S. and Russia both developed weapons as small as what could be transported by two man teams for demotlition work "behind the lines" in a major war. Enough to just erase a Dam or other major piece of infrastructure in the blast, but not a full thermonuclear blast to blow all over the countryside.

The TRUE "suitcase" nukes

They're anything but suitcase size and one man isn't moving it further than dragging it ...but another feature of those was a "Dial-a-Yield", which literally allowed the configuration of how big a blast they wanted to produce within it's technical limits.

I'm willing to bet in the modern times? They could probably 'nuke' his Palace and no do much more than blow out windows a few miles away. That is, after all, the whole point of the little ones.

Rabbit...

If you can bring down ... lets say... 2 giant 1,300 feet tall towers using 767s without damaging the surrounding buildings... well, "much"... why the hell would you need a nuclear device to bring down Kim's Palace?

I must be missing something...

Sounds like a horse and pony show,

I know your post is to be taken light heartedly. But you bring up a very good point. Why would a dictator make such a show of force repeatedly if he was NOT being provoked? Which brings me to this. What is that we (ATS'ers) really know about the strategic movements the U.S has been making that is provoking such show of force?

If you've been keeping up on the N. Korean propaganda, which I have been slightly. It would appear that the North Koreans have not made statements that are about attacking an evil enemy out of some random desire for self-annihilation. But instead are RESPONSES to American strategy's that even the North Koreans won't discuss publicly. Can anyone enlighten me as to what's going on? Can ANYONE here enlighten the ATS'ers with something more intellectual than the typical posts that have really rated just above "borderline retarded" or "totally misinformed" at best?
