Hmmm 27 pages of people decrying others favourite "ism" while defending their own favourite "ism". All the while pointing out "failures" of other "isms" and any detrimental effects of their personal favourite is due to corruption and is not a true representaion of said "ism".

It's a shame the good, informative posts are over run by ignorant rubbish.

Special mention goes to ElectricUniverse for posting the same stuff in every single political ideology thread involving discussion of Socialism.

Anyway.....I've posted so much in this thread now.....maybe more than in any other thread I've posted in, so I'm going to hopefully leave it for a while. Like I said a while back, the whole thing seems to go around in circles, and this means my posts also have to go around in circles trying to explain if I carry on. Hopefully both sides can work out a solution to this madness in the future.

This thread is a Globalist attempt to take Americas freedoms by easing in the idea of Socialism as the new and improved system .

Capitalism is basically evil. I am convinced capitalism is "the son of man" mentioned in the bible..not that Im a bible thumping christian...
Anyhow. In capitalism...money is supposed to motivate people to exceed in business, innovation and culture.
Unfortunatley the huge flaw in this plan is that people who chase profits, will either cheat to get them or exploit society to the maximum.
thats why we currently have hip hop as the predominate music culture in the world today...such high art as it is.
thats why internet hardcore porn is the biggest consumed product online.
thats why mc donalds is the massive multi national health food provider.
thats why suv's are the most popular vehicle in america.

Capitalism not only promotes the worst of the worst but it also elevates the very worst type of person to the highest levels of power and culture. Psychopaths and Narcissists.

This is because people who chase profit at everyone elses expense are psychopaths and people who chase fame are inclined to be narcissists. And todays culture is worse than ever..Not only do we have the likes of the Kardassians, who exploit themselves through porn tapes etc...just to be famous, for the sake of being famous. but we have taken it to a new level where everyone wants in on the act...we call this sickness Facebook.

This is capitalism...not where the best of the best succeed but where the worst of the worst succeed.
And yes socialism has certainly had its share of psychopathic leaders...but that is because within any structure of power.. psychopaths will always rise to the top. the reason for this is because a psychopath will do anything in order to succeed..literally.

So for socialism to work...you would need to eliminate a top down power structure..and somehow have a unbreakable constitution that forbid anyone man or woman taking too much control.

Are you sure that you want to give up your car, airconditioner , right to live where you want ,your life also. You need to educate yourself about what this discussion is really about and about the population reduction in Agenda 21 the actual system of supposed Socialism we are ultimately discussing . Only way Socialism could be installed the right way, is during a complete reset of the world. All money gone, all ownership rights gone, all political systems gone, all religious leaders gone, majority of the world's population gone..
Until then, the simple fact that such things exist as Bill Gates, General Electric, Queen Jane I, King John II, the Pope, Trump Tower, Dubai, 1000 Arabian Princes, private island retreats, simple property deeds, means that Socialism can only be implemented for the lower and middle classes and thus will only be an illusion, a brainwashing if you will. Socialism defined is for all and not just some, there aren't allowances for the rich to be above the poor, it becomes something entirely different than Socialism then.

Norway, Denmark, Germany do not have Socialism. There is the uber class from banksters to royalty. Where they exist, Socialism does not. When those elites get the same labor vouchers as the local street sweeper and stand in the same lines to see their assigned physician or to get that day's bread/meat/produce allotments, then you can start talking Socialism. Where socialized anything exists only for the middle-lower classes, it is a enslaved society, not an enlightened one.

Well it's just my opinion...but if you said basic human nature is "evil"..and humans designed capitalism...then that would make capitalism evil..wouldn't it?

But that's not really what I was saying...I'm just using your own logic against you for arguments sake.
I get your point though...and it's a valid one.

However compared to socialism.. which is the ideology of equality for all...capitalism is the system of huge imbalances between a few rich and countless poor...The obvious conclusion is that out of the two ideas...socialism is closer to the Christian concept...of equality..feeding the five thousand etc...than capitalism which is counter to christian beliefs..eg the money lenders in the temple and the pursuit of self interest above selflessness.

in fact capitalism is so anti christian in its values..that I have always had a deep problem trying to reconcile being educated and brought up a christian in a capitalist and materialist society.

Capitalism is so opposed to Christianity that it is the exact opposite of it. The exact polar opposite to christian values. This means, in my view that capitalism is satanic. I have no question about this fact.

Socialism may have had many evil or insane men throughout it's history but they were just the controllers of the system, but not the system itself. That's the difference between socialism and capitalism.

And what really p155es me off is when I hear so called Christians defending capitalism. There is no way you can strive to be rich and be a christian. Rich men and eyes of needles. there is no way you could in all right mindedness be wealthy whilst your brother sleeps on the sidewalk and eats from garbage cans. Like I said rich people do not enter the kingdom of heaven..but capitalism is all about pursuing wealth..clearly this is immoral..it's not me stating it but the bible... something most Americans say they believe in...whilst simultaneously chasing the "all mighty dollar"..that expression alone should be a smoking gun..as there is only one all mighty God..yet capitalism worships money as God on earth..clearly this is a false idol and in direct conflict with Christian belief. lets just say there is a lot of denial going on..especially in the USA.

I have lived long enough to know you cant be a christian and participate in a capitalist model. If you say you are a christian and participate in this evil model, then you are burying your head in the sand and are a fool to yourself.

I used to call myself a Christian but i participate in capitalism..therefore I am not a christian. Real Christians are willing to be crucified and thrown to lions for going against the system..remember that. And also remember the original capitalist system they went up against..The Roman Empire..well it never really went away did it, just changed it's name to capitalism.
