Cop just said he's not shooting back and he may be down.

All these cabins were empty except the one he is in were empty. His was rented this weekend. The police are going in and out of one part of the cabin. Something weird is going on here. Could he have rented it for the weekend and loaded it with food and weapons? Explosives? Who knows.

That's a valid point. And all the information we're passing on to each other is coming from
both media and law enforcement

Now I'm pretty sure they just said that the SWAT team is standing down.

Just had a SUV just went by the checkpoint and cop car on pursuit I believe, anyone else see that

It will give them the chance to move his frozen body in under cover of darkness, since they've had him on ice since they found him checked into that hotel room under his real name since he allegedly murdered the daughter.

Maybe a rich independant journalist will see this and put his/her own drone in the air over there.
Hmmm, this officer is surrounded by alot of cops and isolated, I wonder if he planned this.

Like stated already, if he is still inside that cabin he is just extending his pain.
If he is out in the woods, his stamina will determine his chances for survival; if they release the hounds, i.e. police dogs, he is in a world of hurt. It is however possible to escape even them with certain techniques but chances are slim. UAV's with thermal cameras are a hard one also, as long as they can determine what sector he's in. If he stays cold and wet his thermal image will be less visible but that will kill off his strength at the same time... We will have to run for miles on end, in the woods. Odds are pretty tough for him. Finding a place to stay and rest without further risking capture is more or less impossible. Gotta stay moving for at least several more hours. Bad weather could help him like heavy fog or downpour. What's the conditions like in the area?

I doubt he would surrender either; if he is detained the cops will make his life hell and as soon as he is in prison it will be even worse (protective custody, i.e. isolation, probably for life, is his best chance, which kinda sucks).

Hopefully, no one else has to die. My condolences to the family of the dead officer. I hope the other one makes it out OK.

Seems like its timing is just right for multiple agendas.

And it was law enforcement that sais they were not even sure it was him, but the media, bless their hearts, are droning on and on that it IS him, speaking as this is all factual.

Pun not intended, but...

Interestingly enough this is my first post. Trivial as that may be; I proceed.

I'm not sure why but a big part of me is rooting for this guy to escape again, not that I support the violence or all my tax dollars being spent searching for this guy, It just feels good that some can beat the system (however wrong they may be while doing so).

and after all the misreporting in the various shooting incidents of late, you'd think both media and police would attempt to be sure of their info before passing it on. Or not report it until it is verified.
