I had to try a few ways to get the feed. Eventually I opted to click the media player icons shown in the player. The one with the mp3 player icon worked. It let me download a magnet file that opened up my VLC player.

Let's say this Dorner guy exists. Let's say he did what he was accused of doing. Let's pretend he's on the run...and living like Rambo; in a gun battle with "authorities". If "authorities" are having a hard time with 1 guy...what are they going to do against a nation of armed civilians? If it takes an entire police force to get 1 person....they're certainly going to have their hands full, with an angry American people, tired of the brutality.

Here's the kicker...when
People will be killing people. One side will call itself "good" and the other side, will be considered "bad". Best of all...the orchestrators of it all...will be watching from box seats. Pretty clever...if you ask me.

They are playing safe because they are aware of the media presence and public scrutiny. In a chaotic situation with many people shooting? Those concerns would no longer apply.

It's an apples and oranges concept.

My wife told me that CNN reported that the lady who owns the cabin said no one was in the cabin as of yesterday and there is no T.V., internet or phone in the cabin. She said the people who were renting the cabin left yesterday.

They've closed all the hghways in the moiuntain area and are checking cars on Hway 38 with GUNS DRAWN. One officer has his handgun out as he and a partner check the cars, even the metal "tote cases" on pick up trucks. They're covered by a third officer with a tactical weapon of some sort. Can't see if it's a rifle or shotgun

Lets just say the cops had a case of mistaken identity.....kinda like when they shot those people in a black truck in a case of mistaken identity.
They were two women.....not Dorner, also they were wounded.

I think it is him but won't underestimate the power of stupidity.

These cops checking the vehicles are jokes. The female cop barely holding her gun just pointing it all over the place, the male cop looking with his head, gun behind his back.

Am I coming to the right conclusions here? Are they saying there are still roads off of the mountain that are not secure???

Good God.

[Updated at 6:15 p.m. ET] LAPD Cmdr. Andrew Smith tells reporters that authorities aren't 100% sure that the suspect in the cabin is Dorner, but they believe it's him.

The guy speaking now says the police aren't 100 percent if it's him in there. What if the ranger saw a similar guy with a gun and fired on him. What if it was just a loner prepper type that was fired on and fired back? Or somone Dorner recruited to stay in the mountain to slow the search..

just thinking,, most likely it's Dorner, but they aren't certain. Depends on how smart he is.

They have scramble devices for that. The russians use it every time there is a demonstration going on. Problem is that they have to scramble his frequency only and not disrupt their own communication...

I think they are trying to avoid a Waco-scenario by getting him out in the open instead of inside any building. I mean, it will just be a waste of man hours before they move in for the kill anyway...
I don't think they will "risk" getting him alive. Remember that it is the LAPD we are talking about here, not Fargo county troopers...

What the hell are those oval shaped things on the roofs of those police SUV's heading up the mountain? Not sirens, large white oval shaped things, taking up the whole roof top?
