OMG! Entitlement run crazy! That's insane .. and so very Soviet. (and we know how that worked out for them!!) Geeeze ... the freeloaders and the moochers would be in heaven. I can't wait for Atlas to shrug ...
I was merely pointing out that some people feel the need to blame Obama for anything they can, rational or not.
Ummm....thats really quaint and might be applicable........IF..........even MOST frequenters of ATS were conspiracy theorists...However, the vast majority of those that post in the major topic threads are simply using the site as an entertainment participation vehicle. It's almost like a video game, or a fencing match...deflect and riposte......nothing more. Although there are certainly the "conspiracy" threads that are featured on this site and ATS developed into the major clearing house for such......ATS has morphed into a member generated breaking news site and that category my friend is where most of the action takes place. Wether through intent or simply because the MSM cannot be trusted to perform due diligence or even journalism/reporting without bias, this is what we have.

How about:
Many millions of people hold conspiracy theories; they believe that powerful people have worked together in order to withhold the truth about some important practice or some terrible event. A recent example is the belief, widespread in some parts of the world, that the attacks of 9/11 were carried out not by Al Qaeda, but by Israel or the United States. Those who subscribe to conspiracy theories may create serious risks, including risks of violence, and the existence of such theories raises significant challenges for policy and law. The first challenge is to understand the mechanisms by which conspiracy theories prosper; the second challenge is to understand how such theories might be undermined. Such theories typically spread as a result of identifiable cognitive blunders, operating in conjunction with informational and reputational influences. A distinctive feature of conspiracy theories is their self-sealing quality. Conspiracy theorists are not likely to be persuaded by an attempt to dispel their theories; they may even characterize that very attempt as further proof of the conspiracy. Because those who hold conspiracy theories typically suffer from a crippled epistemology, in accordance with which it is rational to hold such theories, the best response consists in cognitive infiltration of extremist groups. Various policy dilemmas, such as the question whether it is better for government to rebut conspiracy theories or to ignore them, are explored in this light.

I love when people call things socialist and clearly have no idea what socialist even means.
Know your enemies, people.
tell me, what's so bad living in a SOCIETY and employing SOCIAL-ISM? Are we not social? Maybe you should study the real world and socialist countries like the poor, desperate, and completely depressed French? Do you see any protests from an evil empire of Socialist Frenchmen? No... Do you see an oppression, violence, or an "anonymous" presence in that country? No...
France Riots
All across the European Union, strikes, demonstrations, and riots broke out to protest the austerity measures that are plaguing many nations.
Spain, Portugal, Belgium, France, Italy, and Greece were among the 23 countries participating in the anti-austerity protests. Some remained peaceful, but many turned violent.
So, what's so terrible about Socialism? Oh yeah, no ruling elite to control the masses with capitalism. Yes, this is terribly scary for many greedy people who just can't get enough; who are lower thinking beings incapable of the very scary notion of homeostatic behavior in SOCIAL situations where one must live peacefully, and abundantly in SOCIETIES.
Does anyone really study, or just see buzz words and think "OH NO! Evil is upon us, a black man, a socialist, and they're trying to destroy a 300 year old document that does NOT apply in the 21st Century written by slave owners that wanted to get out of paying their taxes!. Seriously folks, apply a little left brain, right brain activity. Don't be so frequency dominant, put down the television, and step away from the propaganda machine with your EYES WIDE SHUT. Listen, observe, analyze, remember?

Obama is truly like some kind of a psycho
Trying to have his cake and eat it too, no one can do that, no one
He plays a nice guy, then he does all the things Bush did with wars and spending.
Then he tries again to be a nice guy.
Where is the emoticon for psycho/Whacko

Yes! Do you really want to use France as an example of what you think America should be?
Well, let’s take a look.
And why were they rioting in France? That’s right! Because the government ran out of money to keep feeding the socialist machine so austerity measures were required to stay afloat. All across the EU countries are running out of money. And the crybaby socialists were crying about not getting their handouts and free kool aid.

First of all it doesn’t work. Secondly, eventually you run out of other people’s money (hence the austerity measures) and then everyone is broke.

So now you’re resorting to throwing around the race card??
Now I know you’re desperate.
Please don't talk to me about people "not studying" as you promote a system that's never worked. You really are making yourself look silly. The most telling part of your post is when you referred to the constitution as "a 300 year old document that does NOT apply in the 21st Century". That says it all!! Move to another country if you don't like the constitution....and take Obama with you!
By the way, here is Sunstein’s NEW BOOK. I’m sure you’d enjoy it!
edit on 31-1-2013 by seabag because: (no reason given)
Obama is a New Age Communist and thats all you need to know. He is following the Cloward and Pivens Plan he learned at Columbia to bankrupt America and force the people to accept a New Marxist State.

"[D]espite the breadth of the legislative discretion," the Court continued, "our duty to hear and to render judgment remains." The Court then rendered the federal agricultural spending program at issue invalid under the Tenth Amendment.
I told the truth, you are the one spinning in circles. the Supreme court ruled against the unconstitutional spending.
Here are the highlights of what FDR proposed:

*The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation.
*The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living.
*The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad.
*The right of every family to a decent home.
*The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health.
*The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident and unemployment.
