My Goodness.
I really have to agree here. Except for the preponderance of child victims, questioning the authenticity of the September 11, 2001, official story, and questioning the authenticity of the Sandy Hook official story is really NO DIFFERENT!!!

It's getting kinda creepy that all Sandy Hook threads are literally being deleted from ATS. Just wanted to say this before this thread gets deleted.

This level of utter maddening stupidity (not specifically this thread) has caused the ATS staff to consider an indefinite moratorium on all topics related to the massacre at Sandy Hook.

9/11, Aurora, and Sandy Hook have too many inconsistencies surrounding the event and as such, like many others on here; Yes, I'm going to question it. The validity of the event is not trial here. It's what led up to it before and after. People and threads, will end up disappearing and mysteriously vanish once it's all died down.

So is it the emotions you find so maddening? Or the discussion? What do you think about this thread specifically?

I mean so I can know what to stay away from, while still filling my need to get my thoughts out, and my need to move through my feelings to deal with this tragedy

The most recent thread about Sandy Hook that was deleted, the Naval officer one, wasn't dripping with stupidly imo. It was closed for review and then 404'd. The interview with the naval officer was full of good info and the thread itself had some posters arguing with each other but nothing too crazy, I've definitely seen worse. I just wonder why it was deleted. It was on the front page and all. Just odd, but it's your site so you clearly can do as you wish.

There was a drill occurring during the time the incident occurred...but there is far too little details regarding media coverage to actually say definitively yes or no.

To help with deciphering the Sandy Hook info...I can only refer you to the timeline that is updated regularly here.

I just read that article not 20 minutes ago...and downloaded the video, because I'm sure it's going to get removed from youtube soon as well...so if you can't find it there, let me know, I'll piratebay it.

What is maddening, is that instead of banning members or removing posts, threads that have valuable information regarding this very topic are 404'd...Now, I get why for some them...as they get completely off topic and just turn into heated arguments about things. But why did you create this site? Was it not to discuss anything suspicious that we are told to believe? So others could discuss topics that would seem taboo to "normal" people?

I respect this site, and I just signed up after years of lurking because I felt that contributing would be more significant than just reading...I'm really starting to wonder now, if I should have just stayed away.

Forgive my question, dear Overlord, but what is the point of this forum, ATS, if members of the general public and members of ATS are not allowed to debate their opposing views about SH, here, on this site?
Where are we supposed to do this...on MSM?

One thing in the naval officer video that caught my attention was Mrs. Lanza had a legally registered "assault rifle" in a state where assault rifles are baned. Have we seen any info on hers being grandfathered in?

The action would not be unprecedented. We often remove new topics on the "No Planes" theory with regard to 9/11, and all known pre-existing threads on that subject are in the hoax forum.

Frankly, lately I loath visiting ATS for fear of another stupid Sandy Hook thread that is embarrassing to all those who seek to create smart topics on ATS.

Seriously... I'm close to losing faith.

Don't lose faith. You are one of the geniuses behind this great place. I and others have learned so much from ats. Hopefully this will just be a fad. A sad disgusting fad, but a fad none the less. At this time, ats needs your leadership. Don't lose hope. Help this place rise above. We will get past the dark couple of months. And we'll have a better site because of it. I hope no matter what, everyone stops every now and then and reflects, and sends prayers or kind thoughts to those families and innocent souls lost that horrible day.

What point in the interview with the naval officer, Mike Powers, did it become like all the other Sandy threads? Was when he brought up the father laughing and then crying for the camera or was it the posters themselves that went off the deep end?

If you're losing faith in ATS how much would ya sell it for? Just curious

For what it's worth, it's very possible that people in the mainstream would consider topics that you take seriously to be "maddeningly stupid".

I'm not trying to defend the Sandy Hook subject in particular. If you wanna shut it down then of course that's your prerogative and I'll go along with it.

I just wanted to point out, for the sake of future subjects, there's always someone out there who will think our point of view is maddeningly stupid, and shutting down discussion may not be the best method to educate people.

I think forums like this are so important specifically because they allow open discourse in areas where people have strong disagreements. And for what it's worth, I think you have managed it well here because the level of discourse is much higher than the site that I came here from.

Hmm, that is very interesting indeed...I will have to look into it. I will get back to ya once I look into how long CT's ban has been in place and correlate...

But deleting threads and banning users that have questions will only make everything worse. It's like telling your child not to do something...what do they instantly try to do? I do understand your frustrations and appreciate your patience regarding these topics since I still have much to review and read on this topic. It's tough to get all the information when it constantly keeps falling through the cracks. Yes, I read every thread, some I participate in, asking questions or helping out posters linking them to information...others I see as off the deep end, ignore them and move on...I don't understand why it such a hard thing to do for most members...but I digress.

This event is unfortunate and at the least, confusing. I understand completely why there are so many topics regarding it, as I am sure you do too, otherwise you wouldn't be showing the patience you and the other owners have. We all have questions and are trying to correlate and compare notes...Remove the extremists and let us continue to do so, without the insensitivity and the declaration of all things debunked butting in...I would like to discuss this further with you, or anyone else, but I don't want to derail a thread...please feel free to message me.

No disrespect intended.
