OK, this is the first convincing explanation I've heard.

And this building is in Philadelphia? And the flaps on the plane indicate it was making a decent?

Yep, that's about as convincing as it gets. Great job!

I think it was the ball in Philly.

Why are starred posts being removed? These people are contributing to the threads and are being axed out like some ruthless dictatorship.

I had to join seeing this one... I thought it looked like a roof top air conditioning unit. Also I found info on Project Blue Light in Philadelphia where buildings will illuminate blue lights to commemorate fallen Police officers. If the plane is descending as per the pilot's input that might be what it is. What buildings would the flightpath descending into Philly see?

Well, you know what they say about opinions so I won't go there.
I do appreciate EVRYONE's opinion.
What i do not appreciate are people who try to pass off opinion as fact.
Furthermore, even more dangerous are the people who accept ANYONE'S opinion as FACT!

As I said, we can do this all day long, and many will, but, at the end of the day, there will never be any footage that is good enough because, the better the footage, the more suspect it is and.......well........the worse the footage is, the more suspect it is.

We are living in a time where these "sightings" can and ARE faked CONSTANTLY!!!!

It is a bit one sided in the sense that we CAN prove some of them to be hoaxes but we will NEVER be able to PROVE they are real.

Make sense?

Never blue. Blue is not used in aviation for any purpose.

Not an entirely accurate statement.

Taxiways are differentiated by being bordered by blue lights, or by having green centre lights, depending on the width of the taxiway, and the complexity of the taxi pattern

Also a blue lighted landing area is one approved method of designating a lighted heliport.

Firstly, be very weary of witnesses (especially film makers/takers) using the word 'shocking' in their written description.
Secondly be more leery when people just 'happen to be filming out the window of an airplane for no particular reason and just serendipitously happened upon a UFO at the same time.

But what really doesn't pass the sniff test is: Why only 20 seconds of this phenomenal event? Why not re-film it? If it was that unusual, fascinating and mysterious why didn't he pick up the camera again?
I just can't comprehend that mind-set? Obviously he had the equipment, was in his field of vision and it caught his interest so, what's up with this measly 20-second film?
I'll tell you what's up with that. This whole video stinks with a capitol Hoax but nice touch with the whiny daughter though

I agree, if you really saw something like that the interest on the aircraft would spread quickly, if you don't believe me try the 'looking and pointing into the sky at nothing' and see how many people stop and stare. It's human nature to have a peak if someone points something out. That coupled with the short footage and I really do believe this to be a fake.

The motives are widespread and could be as simple as winning a bet, kudos for convincing the experts, trying to catch conspiracy websites out. The back story could be partially true, we've seen fake reports on ATS before where a non-descript event with relevent audio had a ufo cgi'd in. In actual fact the kid and dad could have been talking about a funny looking cloud, the fakers just find a video with some credible audio in it.

I'll keep watching the thread because it is one of the more interesting video's I've seen of late, just a shame the facts don't stack up imo.

The 'amazing' video is probably only 20 seconds long because right after the bratty-kid says "Jesus Christ"...the pilot's voice comes in over the intercom saying: "On your left, you can see we're passing over majestic Mount Whatever..."

Real what though man? Obviously they are government crafts. Any unidentified UFO sighting up to now in history, is government.

This one was a blue ball on top of a building.

If it were anything other than government, we would have some HARD evidence by now.

What do you want to prove its REAL? That these sightings are REAL government crafts?

That is fog, which doesn't take definitive rounded shapes like the clouds in the video.

it's in atlantic city in new jersey. its about 60 miles from philly. i dont know flight paths and at what point a descent starts but 60 miles isnt that far away.

although, i like the redeemer statue this one seems to be more plausible.

ive seen that ball before from hotel window and had to do a double take. not that i thought it was a ufo but because i thought it may have been the moon.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Got to say that does look very similar, I suppose we just need to work out the flightpath or see if anyone else has ever captured it from the air.

Reply to Homeskillet...What a cool bummer. The vid you posted makes perfect sense, especially with the speed of the plane's desencent and the brief time the ball is actually in a blue .
But it would've been super cool if it was a UFO..cheers!

Revel's hotel tower is the tallest structure in Atlantic City and the second tallest in the state of New Jersey at 48 stories, 216 m (709 ft).[5][6][7] and the second tallest casino tower in the United States.

2nd tallest casino tower in the states, that's bound to get some clouds around it..
