Spirit didn't even service Philly when this flight supposedly ocurred. They go into PHL for the first time in April of L2013. At that time, the only way to fly from FLL to PHL was by Delta (thru ATL), Uniited or US Air (thru CLT or Airtran (also thru AT).
Also, Spirit only uses Airbus 300 series( A319/320/321) aircraft. The video was of a Boeing wing with its typical flap drive fairings.

The video was posted on 29.12.2012, which means that it could have been filmed around the holidays.
According to the comments on Youtube and Facebook, it seems that they were landing at Philadelphia International Airport.
A quick google shows that about northwest of the airport is an area with slightly higher ground, in addition to Gring's Mill recreational area (www.co.berks.pa.us...'sMillRecreationArea.aspx), and they have holiday lights, here is one:

This is ofcourse, pure speculation.

Maybe this has been said before - but it tales a whole lot more than a 20 second video - 80% of which was badly out of focus or pointed away from the object being recorded - to make a case for a UFO. We can't even be certain the sound was actually recorded at the time of the video (could have been dubbed in later).

CGI software has gotten so sophisticated that it is mere child's play to add in a CG element to an existing video. If this had actually been seen, there would have been a lot more witnesses from that flight coming forward, along with the pilots. Instead we only get a 20-sec blip on YouTube.

This reeks of hoaxdom. Some people love to see how far they can trick the masses with their CG handiwork.



Maybe someone took footage of this and added it to a layer of clouds - to give it the appearance of a hovering "UFO".

Unfortunately, in this day and age, with the technology that the average Joe has access to, WE WILL NEVER be able to determine 100% that any given UFO pic or Vid is legitimate. This is a COLD and HARD fact that YOU and EVERYONE else is just going to have to come to terms with my friend.You are chasing your tail if you believe otherwise.

So, flashing the "Phage Signal" in the nighttime sky and nervously awaiting your hero to come rescue you and give you all of the answers so you can rest your pretty head at night is an exercise in futility. He has no answers that anyone else doesn't have.

Firstly, be very weary of witnesses (especially film makers/takers) using the word 'shocking' in their written description.
Secondly be more leery when people just 'happen to be filming out the window of an airplane for no particular reason and just serendipitously happened upon a UFO at the same time.

But what really doesn't pass the sniff test is: Why only 20 seconds of this phenomenal event? Why not re-film it? If it was that unusual, fascinating and mysterious why didn't he pick up the camera again?
I just can't comprehend that mind-set? Obviously he had the equipment, was in his field of vision and it caught his interest so, what's up with this measly 20-second film?
I'll tell you what's up with that. This whole video stinks with a capitol Hoax but nice touch with the whiny daughter though

If it were a one-second film, you'd be asking for a 20-second film. If it were a pic, you'd be asking for a video!

UFO's still dont exist. Keep your eyes to the sky, maybe the movies will be right and we actually see a U.F.O. Until then, its just government crafts, so what? Why do people still care that the Governments are testing planes in the skies? You want to believe it is something else, but its just the worlds governments.

Highly unlikely as well.

1. The angular relationship of the length and height of this building do not match the same angular relationship of the object in the video.

2. This building is the Revel in Atlantic City, which sits right on the beach. There is no way entire masses of clouds would be able to form that low, surround and cover 95% of the building ( in addition to covering everything else in sight around the building) with only the corner sticking out.
