Great job on the map

You didn't show the 4.1 at Tokyo, at 90 km deep that makes it a crust quake ( interplate band is 100-200km going through there according to the map), which may be of concern to those scientists watching for the Tokai event

That link to Landforms and Geology in Japan is a great find
, lots of information in that web site, I've put a link to it on my Japan EQ Archive.
Japan has always interested me, its so much like New Zealand, basically they are photocopy images of each other geologically, in a general sense.
I see Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Niigata and Sapporo are all sinking, well in the last 2.6 million years ago to the present, they have been. The Kanto Plain (Tokyo) by 1km during that period.

[In the future]
It is predicted that Australia will collide with the Asian continent about 50 million years later and the North American continent will meet with the Asian continent 200 million years later, based on the motion of the present continents. As a result, a supercontinent will be formed and the Pacific Ocean will be closed. The Japanese Islands will disappear because they assimilate with the supercontinent.

The Pacific Plate (oceanic plate) is produced at the mid-ocean ridge (East Pacific Rise) and goes away from there toward trenches.

Ah ha, so its not the Antarctic Plate then, that must be rotating.

Last year 20 hours after the M 4.7 hit EQ of M 5.6, this EQ was the largest earthquake recorded in Oklahoma’s history ..

This area probably expected stronger EQ activity in future, after this M 3.2 also possibility for stronger EQ of 3.2 ..

I've installed GEE and wht do I see? Another frackquake me thinks. It's Oklahoma. Maybe bigger than the earlier 3.2M reported. This one still be guessimated I suppose. It may just be closer to Arkansas. Lots of frackquakes there only listed on Okie's site.

okya, i waited as long as i could. they haven't posted the newest Okie frackquake. I'm gonna say it was 3.7M and it was about 20km northeast of okie city. a dozen frackquakes on the 14th. the 12th none and one on the 13th. the quakes taking the weekend off again. four today, but really 5+.

i clicked the usgs world map so much i turned my squares back into circles. hahaha

I actually noticed this yesterday when I was comparing LDEO mags to USGS mags for that Northern Peru quake. It's in my INCOMING! thread.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

I didn't understand why the USGS would only list two of them, when the others were over 4.5, so I thought it was just that the USGS was behind, and they'd probably show up today. Well after they didn't show up today, I wrote to one of my contacts, asking why the USGS was only showing two out of all those quakes. So far no response yet, but I'll let you know if I get one.

But what's totally bizarre is I had no clue about those quakes previously when I started my "Last Survivors Chronicles" thread, just a day earlier. And then the 6.1 happened. Strange.

Well, they haven't posted the last one and a new one is showing up. My, my. Me thinks me is starting to think Okie may be doing what I've been waiting for it to do. Become unglued. No, that's terrible. No. Not unglued. It's going to start shuttering. From the "blow back". I believe that's the new industry word for what has happened in Colorado, Arkansas, etc. You can't keep up this pace without consequences. Simple physics.

Edit. After double checking it is smaller than the last. But still above 2M. So, that's three large enough to show up on the Arkansas siesmos. Due to it being smaller, I doubt they'll be updated soon.

Haa. As soon as I wrote that, they posted the latest- 2.6M. But not the middle one that's bigger and occured a few hours ago.

stateimpact.npr.org...

There is no reason to ask the question why. Because the answer is already obvious. And has now been proven and accepted by "peers". From this reporter's fact finding mission, he states there are only two geologists really studying the quakes, and not full time at that. And, by comparision, there's hundreds of geologists running around the state running around sniffing out the crack- er, I mean the meth, -damn, no, I mean the heroin. Ug. The gas. That other thing that almost all of us are addicted to- energy, fuel, oil, gas. The natural gas. So, just like meth producers, they want to keep their formulas and processes secret. It seems they don't want to share their data. Because information is power. And by keeping the public blind, they can keep polluting the water and causing earthquakes. Frackquakes.

I'm asking a questinon that really matters.
When?

When will there be a large earthquake caused by fracking that kills people?
And.
Where?

Common sense and the wiggly lines on the graphs tell me Oklahoma and soon.
But maybe not. Maybe Oklahoma has no large ancient faults to reawaken. And maybe if they do cause an artificialfault, it may not be big enough to cause something 6+. Maybe Okie only pushes up against it's neighbours and sets off their ancient faults. I'm looking at you Arkansas. New Madrid. The Mississippi is still low. But Tennessee got rain.

If you think that all this fracking and frackquakes and frackwater are passing fads, you'd better wake up and smell the rotten egg smell they add to the odorless natural gas so you know there's a leak. The passed two years are only the tip of the ice berg and we've got a long way to sink to the bottom of this puppy. Things are actually in a waiting position. Waiting for China. And now they are ready.

Chinese pollution is killing their citizens. They will be converting their vehicles to natural gas. Now. Once they convert, and it will only take about ten minutes to change retrofit their entire nation, they air will be clean again. They will also convert their power plants and they are going "green". This means a need for the gas. And who's going to supply it.

Why, Okie of course. Texas. Wait. Montana, Colorado, Arkansas, Ohio, Pennsylivania, the Dakotahs, Wyoming, Utah,
I could go on.
Do you see the future yet?

So, if you want to make money, go to Oklahoma, or as we've seen, pretty much any state in the union, and sell earthquake insurance.

www.kxii.com...

In this article, it says John Law (really), that it's not the fracturing. Really. So, the earthquakes take weekends and holidays off. When you say something that is blantantly contradictory to the obvious evidence in front of you, it's called lieing. It's not the truth. It is deciept. This man, John Law, who is profitting from the oil and gas, is telling falsehoods that put people's lives in peril. And we respect him why? Because he has a degree. The lazy news leaches check one source and that's good enough for them. As long as they're also profitting from the energy boom.

www.okgeosurvey1.gov...

6 frackquakes yesterday. only one so far this morning. Oh, and just something I noted listening to the reports about the three bigger ones months back. It seems they come in threes.

Awesome points

It's too bad nobody is listening!

Just wait till Obama starts approving all those liquid natural gas permits and the shale fields aps sitting in his desk drawer (when the right price is paid, of course), then we're in for a heck of a ride! But hey, look at the bright side, there will be lots of jobs and the economy will improve as America becomes the #1 supplier of natural gas and oil!

Just ran across this:

30,000-40,000 dead fish washed up on a mile and a half
of a beach in South Carolina Tuesday.

Also hundreds of thousands late last week near Masonboro Island, N.C.

usnews.nbcnews.com...

They always say lack of oxygen!
But I think that's the first time I saw it mentioned for an ocean fish kill.
I have read drastic temperature change, toxic algae & percussion testing, etc.
I looked for quakes in the area, but didn't find anything.

Nothing to see here folks, move along!
Something smells fishy!!!

It's methane and hydrogen sulfide gas plumes whether it be birds in the sky or fish in the ocean, and most likely many unexplained human deaths and mysterious explosions. Many of these booms are probably hydrogen sulfide explosions as these gas plumes float down to earth (cuz its heavier-than-air) from the upper atmosphere and they react with ignition sources. Maybe, maybe not but you can't deny that there has been a lot of news lately about escalating releases of these dangerous gases. The chemical smell around southern Louisiana the other day that affected two counties was hydrogen sulfide and a couple of Facebook witnesses to the event stated they heard a couple of loud booms. Many of these booms are also reported right around the area of small quake either days before or after...most likely earth is burping up these gases and they find an ignition source. Methane...lighter-than-air will stay high in the atmosphere. Hydrogen sulfide...heavier-than-air will burp high into the atmosphere and drift back down.

Glad you cleared that up, there are dozens of topics been going on for years on ATS about all that stuff, good to hear one definitive cause for it all.

They will also convert their power plants

But not to gas, to thorium. No fracking no earthquakes and no outlet for the USA.

Electric cars and a much lower dependence on oil and oil products will eventually sink the oil/gas industry and end the fracking quakes.
