Breaking News - Shooting at Newtown, Connecticut elementary school.

This makes me bring every thing we've been told about this case into question.

Actually I had no clue what was happening either. I don't carry a mobile device and I was out running errands for hours, listening to CD's in the car. I had no clue until I turned on the computer yesterday. Some people are just not plugged in at all times. Some people just enjoy silence and this guy may have been one of them.

The conference hasnt started yet. It was suppose to but its delayed- makes you wonder why its delayed as yesterday Srg Vance was so on point and met the press precisely at the time he said he would. So conference at 8am and its now 9:15am- what did they find out thats making them delay?

The amounts of money shocks me. The father makes more money a week then a lot of people makes a year. Doesn't necessarily change anything but I wasn't expecting that.

My guess is if Adam had autism or asbergers syndrome like they are saying he did.. it's possible that he was set on something that we will never know the why of it.. ( perhaps Nancy worked there when he was younger/child) it's all hard to say with anyone who gets"stuck" in a place... but then i've also heard reports that Adam had no history of mental illness... so which is it...???

Hi there- In the early hours of this unfolding locally we heard so many different things going on via internet and news sources that were completely wrong. We went on lockdown at my work since some reports told of a shooter in our area- and this was after the perp was found and authorities stated that he was dead. They were looking for a second shooter for almost 3 hours before tell ing us all 'officially' that 'they public is safe', but Ill tell you, I really dont know if I believe that either- they were searching for a second shooter for so long that it makes me wonder why? and why did they all of a sudden deem 'just one shooter' when not much at the crime scene had changed.

So even after that they were insisting on searching for a second shooter based on witness accounts of seeing TWO men together running around the school.

Yet, only the one suspicious story of this guy Adam being settled on for no apparent reason.
I read a post somewhere amongst the thousands saying that a merc type guy had come in in the wee hours
of the Lanza home and shot the mom in the face and kidnapped Adam, shot him and deposited his body in the car outside the school.

Ok seeing as I am new What do I do if I have two pictures that I would like someone to look at...I did find a picture of the grandmother from her facebook..I then found a picture from 2010 class graduation at newton High(adam was supposedly born in 1992) I swear the woman is the same person but its a side pic and the boy looks like he could be a brother of the pics floating around of Ryan

Come to think of it, I did read a report about Lanza's girlfriend and another friend missing, but I haven't heard any more about it.

Wow! I hadnt heard all of that! But I did just wake up a bit a ago- It was like an apocolypse happened yesterday around here so I had to shut off the news after awhile.

Yes, its all very odd- we actually had a local online news source telling us that a van full on a few people with guns was in Danbury and being arrested around a 2 hours after things had begun. Danbury is about 15 minutes away. Im not sure if it was just local rumor mill problems and people just couldn;t get the story story straight or if any of these 'other reports' actually held some truth to them

Well, it looks like that's been ruled out...

One of the officials said earlier Friday that a girlfriend of one of the Lanza brothers and another friend were missing in New Jersey. Subsequently, the third official said police had talked with the girlfriend. One of the friends had to be reached in California, so it took some time.

Me neither and the claims of searching for a purple van. There was a point yesterday afternoon when the stories flying around fast and loose were coming every 10 minutes.

You are forced to conclude that either the MSM were making it up out of whole cloth or they were being fed this misinfo intentionally by LE.

The candlelight vigil at the gazebo was a beautiful service here in the town of Trumbull. We prayed for the families, the victims and the first responders. I had two friends that lost loved ones and the family of Mary Sherlach . Mary was a Trumbull resident who was the school psychologist at Sandy Hook School. Her daughters, Maura and Katie, and her husband, Bill, will need our support and our prayers to help them through. God bless all the families who have been touched by this horrible event. May God hold them in His arms and may those who lost loved ones take comfort in knowing that their loved ones are safe in the arms of our Lord. God bless them all.

The 'purple van' was supposedly found with a group of 'armed men dressed as nuns' yesterday in Danbury and I can tell you that that did not happen- at least where the MSM said it did. I was two blocks away and there were no cop cars on or near that area.

The only reason I found out about the Connecticut shooting 10 minutes after it happened was because I was on ATS. I didn't know about the move theatre shooting until 4 days after it happened. Not really a surprise that the father didn't know.
