1-in 1869 the Supreme Court ruled in Texas v White that when Texas and other states joined the United States that they entered into an "an indissoluble relation." The ruling stated that it could only happen with a mutual consent of the state and the federal government.
I seriously doubt the federal government would allow it.
2-There are also some questions on the constitution in multiple places. Article 6 Section 3, Article 1 Section 10, and Article 4 Section 3
