Let me see. Obama is asked a direct question in an interview from a radio host.

Obama - - doesn't side step it - - try to throw it into the trash can - - or tell the host its not a presidential question.

Instead - - Obama gives a direct response.

Oh! The horror of it

He gave a purial answer. The fact that he HAS to go on these shows and run for re-election like he's never been in office before, speaks volumes of his record.

Thus my previous point.

QED

So what?

If it had been Romney - - you would have spun it to be charming and current or something.

Nope. Romney's job is to get elected.

Obama's job is to run the country. (into the ground)

Uh huh!

You are so one sided - - - I know that's all BS.

You would support Romney if he did this. No question about it.

That's why these type threads are so stupid.

No they shouldn't...unless thier opponents spent the last 3+ years re-inventing THEM. As a socialist, marxist, terrorist, Kenyan, Black agendist, etc. etc. etc.

The thread went from Obama and two women fighting to political baiting where the op clearly said nothing as such.

Meh

Funny. Because I do see it differently. Funny, isn't it? I see the polls skewed, and Romney in the lead.

Obama needed QE3 last month just to falsly prop up the economy. Foodstamps at an all-time high. Our credit rating has fallen under Obama. The people under-employed or just quit looking is up. Our dollar is worth less. Our foreign policy a mess. Our domestic policy is a mess. Obama is "reactive, not leading.

You see a vase. I see two faces.

That's the thing. Any incumbent should have an easier time because they've been in the spotlight for the past 4 years. Their "job" should be the basis for the campaign. They shouldn't have to reinvent, recreate themselves. Unless their job performance has been less than stellar. . . . . . .

Soo sad that our elections now have these pathetic pop culture influences. These media personalities have sullied the actual intent of our elections. Such a perfect chance for a more regular approach w/ the potus, to ask any number of serious questions. Instead it's about American Idol??? Hey Emperor Beezer what is your take on the Watership Down incident?

I can neither confirm nor deny my involvement.

You do know - - of course - - the biggest supporters of American Idol are the South and Midwest (according to voting patterns).

You may think its silly - - but demographics prove otherwise.

The personable and human side of Obama does have weight and influence in this election.

Well kids, gotta go sleepy-time. Read a bit, unwind, (I have the day off tomorrow) but need to unwind. Thanks for all for the contributions, I will be back (as one poster pointed out, I never leave!).

Being in my mom's basement, living off Mountain Dews is a tough life.
(shameless plug to an awesome story

No...I see a black and white colored design made to look like both a vase and two-faces...where neither exist.
Actually a very relevant metaphor for the political discourse

I agree, it does go to show us, that we see what we want to see.

Don't forget, it also looks like a bird bath, a vase, 2 faces, and (insert next vision)
When you are right, its none of these things, yet all of these things at the same time.

How horrid, the president has yet another opinion on something other than politics. We better impeach him promptly for this egregious transgression, lest complete turmoil and unrest reign supreme amongst the countrymen!

Shesh oh Pete Beezzer. Give it a rest already, we get it, you don't like Obama. Fine. But does that mean you have to troll the internet and dredge up every single thing that this man does and take it as a personal slight against you?

Who cares? What does this matter to anyone anywhere anyhow?

It's his opinion, he does have his 1st Amendment right to his opinion.

Man get some sleep, your incessant Obama hate is just uncouth.

Sure he has.

He has time for Letterman, not Netanyahu. He has time for The View, not for world leaders. He has time for Beyounce but no time for briefings. He has time for a faux Idol stink-up and no time fo the country.

Does someone need to point out the political parts to you?

Idol!!? Muppets!!? Well I guess he should stick to what he does best since being president has been one great big socialist attack and failure to lead America. He gets the boot soon.

I know little of this Niki person. Obviously she's a musician of some type. Obviously she's popular. Has she spent time at Mount Mindwipe Hospital as well?

It's just ludacris. Being Potus means nothing. It's become comical to be quite frank. No freaking wonder we are where we are. Up craps creek without a paddle & the water's on the rise.

Obama is the perfect example of the empty suit president.

Go to youtube and search "Obama teleprompter". When the TP goes down he makes George W look smart by comparison.

Senators and Congressmen from his own party complain that they never get facetime with him, they have to go through the "obama machine".

He is insulated by his handlers, and he rarely takes a side and displays leadership, he dithers around until a clear winner is chosen and then steps up with his support.

OK.

His jobs Czar is the CEO of GE, a company that outsources more jobs than it creates in America, a lot more.

Since January first he has attended 165 fundraisers and golfed 21 times, yet his jobs council has yet to meet in 2012.

Does that sound like jobs are his priority?

He claims they are, yet his actions say something very different.
