Your asking us to be serious about the Potus spouting off about two 2nd rate tv stars. Like I said before, and was'nt understood by some. It's just BS the Potus even speaks that he watches tv. With all that's going on in America. It shows where his time is spent. Like I said. With a Potus like this one, we are up craps creek without a paddle & the water is on the rise. For those who may not understand the very words above.

( Our future outlook with the current Potus does not look good. As he waste's his time watching contrite T.V. shows. When he should be fixing all the crap he's messed up)

Nope. A lame duck president like Obama is much better than a "do everything wrong" potential presidential candidate by the name of romney. When all you can do is lose, best to just walk out of the casino with a few dollars in your pocket.

Obviously you are an inexperienced naive person so I would NEVER expect you or Beezer to understand.

So since you couldn't refute the facts i supplied you resort to insults?

Par for the course from you folks.

FOX - - the most inaccurate News (make that Entertainment Show) in MSM.

Google it. Both accuracy and entertainment (Florida lawsuit).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are actually a few on-line sites I read - - that at least attempt to show legitimate side-by-side comparisons of Romney and Obama.

Do you?

But list the things he does do.
I don't like him either, but he has to do something right? I don't count the stuff that benefits him or his friends personally. I still don't think this is a big deal (and I applaud his avoiding Israel).

Comparing an off-the-cuff comment about two dopey celebrities to the Middle-East conflict smacks of "47%" Republican last ditch desperation and 53%...

Fascinating.
I wonder how you do it and more importantly why.
I imagine you have a crew of people working with you collecting information.

Really, you can't fathom it being accomplishable to make 20 posts in a day? Lets assume someone gets 8 hours of sleep a night, leaving them 16 hours in a day. If they could make 1.25 posts an hour, they would have accomplished that. How does that not seem reasonable to you?

He has time for Beyounce but no time for briefings.
He has time for a faux Idol stink-up and no time fo the country.

We should give him MORE free time in November.

I agree.

Now back to my Spiderman comic book, with Obama on the Cover..........

Shouldn't this thread be in the jokes or chit chat forum section since it has zero to do with politics?

At first I thought you might be talking about this ....

BREAKING: Obama Preparing Military Strike Against Benghazi Terrorists

The Associated Press is now reporting that the Obama administration has given the order to prepare for strikes against terrorist forces in Libya

edit on 16-10-2012 by newcovenant because: (no reason given)

It has everything to do with politics! It illustrates the priorities of our C-n-C!

Does it really?

Or is this just a facet ...one facet you have latched on to, one sentence out of hundreds edited from a very busy day? That's what it seems like to me. I am sure he belched that day too but somehow you missed it in your "headlines."

I am not sure "reasonable" is in question.
I think it is the sad and fruitless waste of a life that is being lamented.

Obama is clearly playing the "Bread and Circuses" game with this target audience.

In this case, the typical intellectually lazy American who is easily distracted from real current events by watching reality TV...and just as easily influenced by a smooth talking politician.

I don't know what his campaign staff was thinking!!! Then again, he WAS talking off-teleprompter!

Thanks

I'd imagine they were trying to appeal to the masses that find shows like Idol and the "fighting" between those two women very important, etc.

I don't want come across as not entertained by stuff on TV. I also listen and enjoy music. I just don't let it (or try not to) control my thoughts and feelings.

But gosh those things influence people so much. Those things plus things like the MSM and fashion and what Brad Pitt did yesterday, etc. UGH

Turn off the TV for few hours and STOP THE MADNESS!

Just my opinions.

Actually - - according to voting records - - the largest demographic that watches Idol - - is the south and the midwest. The Bible belt.

I would not call them Obama's target audience.

Are we reaching now?

Yeah, I think we are. We've got Binders full of Broads! Mitten's puts his foot in his mouth on a daily basis, usually when his mouth is flapping.

I'm hoping we can have peace between Divas as well as Middle East countries beset by Oil and Banking interests. But mostly, I wish the "noble opposition" of Democracy, would at least complain about drones, domestic spying, continued wars, or not having a bailout that is a decent fraction of cash printed for bankers (over $16 Trillion).

Does a popular reference detract from other things the White House is doing? Oh, let's pretend that someone here has a point today...

It's clear Obama misread his target. He should have been demanding they repent or face fire and brimstone for their whore of Babylon ways! Then reference the favorite to win the NASCAR cup, spit on the ground and say; "America is #1!" Don't mention education or life expectancy -- it's prison population. Take that Sweden!

The ocean is about to belch up metric tons of Methane as the Clathrates melt, but we might manage to have a Billionaire back in the White House -- right on the heals of Bain shipping off the last of that company to China and stamping up and down about being tough on them.

I'm not sure WHICH smooth talking politician this maddog99 is referring to. When he isn't forced to be honest, Ryan is pretty dang smooth. Of course, he pushed for that 70 years of retirement funding to bankrupt our Post Office in 2006 -- because Job 1 for the Plutocrats is destroying Unions, even if it means American jobs.

I'm not enamored of Obama, but at least I'd let him baby sit the kids.

As in ALL and EVERY voting citizen?

I know its shocking - - - but some people find his humanness charming and include it in his effectiveness to reach ALL people.

Sorry - - but a demographic is not just a location. Nor is it every single individual.

A commercial TV demographic is who will buy the advertised product. Since Idol is a show families can sit and watch together - - - products most likely will target this group.

I don't mean to irritate anyone because this is entirely my own opinion and it's kind of off topic but....

How the holy hell can ANYBODY believe a word out of ANY of these candidates. I don't care left or right either way. I'd feel the same if Romney mentioned the Idol thing. I just do not understand how people argue over that. How they don't see it doesn't matter who wins. My life, your lives aren't going to change.
We will hear the same old rhetoric (and lies) no matter who wins.

It reminds me of the speech from Tammy Metzler in the movie "Election."

That's how I feel about it anyway.
