What defines an "institution of marriage" is simply opinion.

And no it's not an attack on marriage... you seem to be one of those paranoid traditionalists who think straight marriages will be banned... that is total garbage and you know it.

If two men or women want to marry so what? Your not going to be hurt in anyway. Maybe your religious beliefs will be offended... but that is your problem because there is not one universal religion.

That is the problem.

A lot of Christians, not all but a lot, think that EVERYONE should have to abide by their interpation of the Bible. If THEY dont think its right than NOBODY should be allowed to do it.

Just like prayer in school its OK as long as it is ONLY Christian prayer. If someone came in and said we are gonna hold Muslim prayers 5 times a day they would be the first to scream. We have freedom of religion as long as its THEIR religion.

According to them we are only free to think and do exactly as they do, any thing else is wrong. NO one else thoughts matter because ANYTHING outside there narrow view of the world is "sin".

These people will not be happy till they have a Christian "Taliban" here in the united states. You can not argue with them because they have the word of God, sometimes stright from him. The fact that you dont believe in their God or maybe worship another God does not matter you STILL must obey their Gods laws.

Apparently the biblical rules you try to enforce on everyone else, you yourself don't even follow.

And what's worse, is you try and justify it.

Never did I say it wasnt sin............I am not a hypocrit at all. What I meant by the in GOd's eyes was that we were already one in the Flesh, sex aside.

Body is a temple, then I have to quit eating junk food also?

I am a sinner.....we all are . And if you choose not to accept God, that is finr and your choice. He gave you the free will to do that.

But as a side note, how can you say that your gay, no hope of not being gay, and yet you have not look at all potential possibilites? I mean if the 'demon' in which you are bound can be removed.....

The "demon" can't be removed. You can't make me straight, and I can't make you gay. You think all those young gay kids that kill themselves every year because of the lives they have to live would just 'choose' to be straight if it were that simple, huh?

Also, it's not wrong in my book. If it was wrong, and whoever created me REALLY didn't want me to be this way, he wouldn't have made me this way. That's why I will never believe in the stuff you believe in. You choose to believe in other men's writings that they say were spoken by God, I choose to believe in myself, which -- if there is a God -- I came from him directly.

So I do have free will, free will to live my life the way God created me, or free will to live my life based on man's writings who they just say were from God.

That's why I don't really question how people live their lives as long as they don't live it in a way which is harmful to others. Everyone who is on this Earth was put here for a reason. It's not my place, or your place, or anyone else's, to question why someone else is here.

History reminds us that we cannot dismiss extremism in any form--ever! Regardless of how interesting these other topics are, this thread was posted to discuss soical movements related to homosexuality. So far, we really haven't addressed that topic, at all.

Are you sure that this thread wasnt intended to prove that all Gays are trying to have sex with your children and take over the world outlawing hertrosexual realtionships? "Proof" that there is a secert agenda among gays to destroy marriage and our social fabric? "Proof" that most if not all Gays are childmolesters? "Proof" that gays are out to kill everyone that is not Gay?

Because that pretty much what your first post implies.

Every quote was about killing strights, seducing our children, destroying Marriage, etc.
