Those campaign contributions are taxpayer money. They are legally deductible taxes, dollar for dollar that should have been paid to the general fund instead of being redirected. Another words they could be considered sort of legal bribes used to acquire future favors or repay past support from the congressman which could have benefited the business or individual that is donating. Nothing new, there probably isn't a politician that would vote against this practice, it would be political suicide.

Very quick read, give it a go.
for its overthrow is simply by mass withdrawal of that consent. The weight of tyranny would quickly and suddenly collapse under such a nonviolent revolution. (

An agreement must be reached among the population, that the government is either corrupt or the voting process has been compromised or is fraudulent. In other words a significant majority of Americans needs to feel that the system is broken, else you overthrow somone else's elected official.
Exactly, and the only way to do that is to start your own party and realize that the voting results cannot possibly match that of the real voting. In fact, I think the results would be accurate (i.e. no fraud). However, the population seems to either be too lazy and vote for one of two parties, or they genuinely think that these two are the only sane options.
If It's Our Constitutional Right to Overthrow Corrupt Government, Why Don't We Do It?

because when they try to organize they get wisked away in a black suv with tinted windows. BTW, postings like this get people locked up these days. Watch your back
Im 26 now and believe the "hippies" had it right. Occupy is nothing. We need those 10000 peaceful protests in front of the white house.
Until it happens protests will fizzle and people will keep looking at protests as outdated practices that never get anything done.
Which will signal the end of true freedom. How anyone can't see similarities in the US government agencies using tactics straight out of countries under a dictatorship rule is astonishing to me.edit on 30-8-2012 by cconn487 because: more than a measley 1000 protesters
