Last night while looking for info on this, I read an article that referred to Greg Pinson as her "partner". Wish I had saved that article and will try to find it again to post to this thread. All other reports call him her husband.

If this is the only one, then as another stated regarding a "Final Destination" scenario - maybe there is some level of synchronicity involved (to what ends, I don't know, as I know nothing of how reality actually works) - but I'll put this out there: about 1 in 110,000 people drown in the U.S. Every year. If there were 500 people in the theatre, then the odds were about 1:220 that someone in that theatre would drown within 12 months of the shooting.

his FB page says he is married to her....for whatever that is worth....
ETA...it also says they both live in Denver.....and they are both somewhat active on FB...
so why does the story say she died in a lake near her house, when her FB says they live in Denver....why not change their FB status to where they live?

Gallagher was actually found dead ten days ago, on August 7th. Despite recent conflicting and incorrect reports about the location (multiple reports say it was in Colorado, while another says Ohio), The End Run has determined that she was actually found dead in Okoboji Lake, which is in Dickson County, Iowa, about 700 miles from her home town of Denver by car. Within 24 hours or less of the discovery of her body, a short blurb about the death, which did not identify her by name, was published by the Associated Press and picked up by several local media outlets.
It read:
Drowning reported at West Okoboji Lake
OKOBOJI, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say someone has drowned at West Okoboji Lake in northwest Iowa. The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office said officers responded to a report of a drowning a little after noon on Tuesday. The office hasn’t released the victim’s name or any other details about the drowning.
On the morning of August 8th, the day after her body was reportedly discovered, the Dickson County Sheriff’s office issued a press release identifying Gallagher as the victim (although they misspelled her name) and providing a few additional details.
It read (cache):
Victim identified in West Okoboji drowning
Published on Wednesday, 08 August 2012 06:30
On Tuesday, August 7, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a drowning on West Lake Okoboji. An investigation found that Jennifer Galagher, age 46, from Denver, Colorado, had been swimming the previous night in West Lake. On Tuesday morning, Galagher was reported missing by family.
A short time later, a family member located Galagher underneath a nearby dock. Medical personnel responded and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Assisting the DCSO were:
Milford Fire/Rescue
Arnolds Park/Okoboji Dive Team
Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance
The incident remains under investigation by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
Regarding the question of how Jenny died, the new Herald article says (cache):
Greg explained that the family had travelled[sic] to nearby Ohio[sic] for a holiday when Jenny tragically drowned.
He and Jack had gone to sleep when Jenny and her friend decided to take a boat out on to a lake.
“She wasn’t a very strong swimmer and I suppose she just wasn’t able to stay afloat.
“The hardest thing is I may never know what really happened to Jenny.”

Her husband appearently also was a runner in half-marathons back in 2000:
www.coolrunning.com...
So they were both very fit people.
Just adding it in case it adds to the puzzle for someone else. I really wish I could track down who this "friend" was that was with her.

fromthetrenchesworldreport.com...
if you are interested in the who, what, wheres and whys, this guy has done most of the fact checking. lots of inconsistencies.
she went on boat with a "friend" at night when her husband and child went to bed
she apparently "drowned" but they didnt report her missing until the morning, where was the "friend"?
she was "not a strong swimmer" yet appeared to be very athletic and went to costa rica to surf?
the location of where the death occurred was mis-reported in most media.
why does the husband say "i guess we'll never really know what happened to her?" seems pretty cut and dry if you follow the official story.
anyways, the photo of her with barak reminded me of the photo of the 9-11 truther woman with barak. i think she died about 2 weeks after that photo was taken as well!

Lets just say that without this "friend" in the story... things look very different dont they...specially if the husband wasnt sleeping as he claims.
There is just something about his comment "We may never know what happened to Jenny" that strikes me as very odd. If you lose your strong swimmer wife to drowning , the natural tendency is to find out what happened, not to give up and accept it without asking questions.
I dont want to be disrespectful though. I dont know the husband, and I know the media takes things out of context. And why would the husband kill his wife, when he had nothing to do with the shooting?

If this is the only one, then as another stated regarding a "Final Destination" scenario - maybe there is some level of synchronicity involved (to what ends, I don't know, as I know nothing of how reality actually works) - but I'll put this out there: about 1 in 110,000 people drown in the U.S. Every year. If there were 500 people in the theatre, then the odds were about 1:220 that someone in that theatre would drown within 12 months of the shooting.
These odds are incorrect. You only got these odd by dividing 110,000 by 500 which then equals 220. You then need to multiply that by 110,000.
The true odds here that someone would drown in that supposed group of 500 is actually 1:24,200,000
Now with those odds, there is reason for suspicion.
