8) The gunman had a big unsual arsenal (no civilians can have all that without even being suspected) * .40 glock handgun *remington shotgun AR15 semi automatic (with a special designed magasine to old 100 bullets)

That is not an unusual collection of guns. That is a very basic and vary well chosen selection of
survival weapons. Glock forty is an excellent weight-to-firepower ratio carry weapon for personal
protection.....the shotgun is first choice for home defense, and the AR-15 for a SHTF scenario.

These are by no means unusual....they are actually all very good choices for defense. The only
weapon missing is a 22 long rifle, and a large game rifle with a scope, .308, .243. 30-06 etc...

The conspiracy theorist in me is a little frightened about the actually VERY USUAL choices of weapons
for defense.....

Right. He bought the weapons legally at Gander Mountain and Bass Pro Shop. It's not like he had to talk to a guy named Jimbo in a trailer. And I know people who won't shoot a handgun that isn't a .45 caliber. Oh and his shotgun model was the most popular model.

great.

Ok, well, if you have nothing to hide, who cares?

Nazi SS would be proud of your statement.
Tell me, how would a pat down have saved anyone from this shooter?
He left the theatre and came back in.

..but more importantly,if the screening was at midnight, what in the hell kind of parent lets their kid up that late ? Midnight screenings are NOT for children.

just an aside... something really strange happened early this morning while I was watching all this coverage:

I switch to one channel below CNN and there was an intense scene with two men in a movie. He was telling the other guy in hushed but serious tone, "He came in from the EXIT!"

Then I clicked one channel lower and it was another movie. A theater scene. Leonardo DiCaprio was in the audience and they were watching some old black and white film and the guy turns around from the urinal (or sink) and reveals a gun under a hankie and starts shooting.

Shortly after, I shut the TV off and went to sleep.

Just an odd aside. *shrugs*

I could be wrong, but I feel like I can assure you, if it's what you want, that the killer being a crazed psycho, while at this point being the most likely scenario, will definitely be the least explored in the future in this thread and on ATS. Are you new here?

Where, have I heard about aurora CO recently? Isn't that the same town where the police set up roadblocks and started taking people out of cars at gunpoint searching for robbery suspects? If so I find it extremely interesting.
I think people on this thread have done a better than usual job of staying on topic. Like Springer said there are plenty of other threads to debate gum ownership.

Well, it is likely a sure win for the UN small army treaty upcoming 27th. False flag event anyone?

If this were a false flag operation, what would be the reasoning behind it? (not saying it is a false flag operation at all, im just a tad curious) because hey, you never know right?

3 guns, including a semi automatic, eye witnesses said it was like watching ''the terminator''. Awful but possible that a guy with experience, even in computer games, could do it.

Do not start blaming computer gaming for this !

Was that sarcasm?

I didn't apply any ''blame'' to anything yet, I was replying to another poster about how gun skills could be gained from computer simulations.

because it makes America feel less and less like...America

Well, it's a different world we are living in. This is not the America of twenty years ago.

Oh, absolutely! No nutjob EVER goes off on his own!
*dripping with sarcasm*

People, important events are happening every day, all around the world. Not everything is a cover-up or something that people need to stomp around and scream "False Flag!" about.

What are you talking about. My reports came directly from the Police Cheif, law enforcment, media, etc. I've been watching this like a hawk, and even reporting things before it was even on the news.

Someone has a bit of an overinflated ego don't they???

Now they're saying Holmes WAS the guy in the first row.
He bought tickets, got up and propped the exit door open, geared up and returned

I have to think he practiced this at least a couple of times (without guns) during previous movies to make sure no alarm sounded and no security was alerted to the EXIT door being propped open.

Anyone heard whether the door had an alarm that was turned off or had cameras on the outside?

I would think most theaters would have revenue assurance/security procedures in place to keep kids from sneaking their friends into movies

Amen. Perfectly said. Just because this is a conspiracy website doesn't mean there has to be a conspiracy behind everything.

That's exactly what i was thinking about doing practice runs. But there were no reports of any alarms going off.

And from witnesses I heard earlier, it sounded like there was heavy security but they were all in the "back" (where you walk into the theatre)...

Another witness (a local) said this theatre always has heavy police presence because apparently it's not that great of an area. (ie. increase in shootings)

CNN had an interview with a neighbor of the suspect and she said the music in his room just started playing around midnight. So either he tried to have it set to a timer and it failed, or the previous thoughts we had that it was to lure people to open the door.

Why? He clearly left during the show and came back with weapons. They should prevent people from leaving before the show is over. Or at least ID them before they leave.

Prevent them from leaving before the show is over? Serious?
