I agree. I had 30-rd magazines taped together, and I could "bump-fire" my AK from the hip and keep all the bullets within a pretty small spray area and empty a magazine in seconds. 60-rounds in about 20 seconds including flpping the magazines.

If this guy had a crowded theatre, with panicked people clumping at exits, and he had all those different guns, it is pretty amazing that only 71 were shot in the 2 minutes. I wonder how many the theatre even holds? Maybe he shot pretty much everyone that wasn't sitting right next to an exit?

I'm still baffled that he didn't just shoot the responding cops though? He had more bullet-proofing than they did, and he had more guns readily accessible than they did, and he was already guilty of murder, what's a few more bodies? Why didn't he just shoot the responding cops and leave the scene? Why did he mention the booby trapping? Did he intentionally get captured, and intentionally draw all this attention to his apartment? Is it misdirection? Insanity? Regret?

Probably the gunman was just out of his trance, Mk ultra programmed and he was non violent at that point.

Maybe enough Miss direction to get his helpers right off the scene

Why does everything have to be a conspiracy? .. I know it's terrifying to imagine that a human being is capable of doing such horrendous acts .. but the human mind can be a very dark and dangerous place.. people are capable of despicable acts and they don't always have to make sense.. all of us has it in us to be evil.

The 9gag picture is almost certainly a hoax ... they are known for that.. 4chan and 9gag always pull something like this when a big story breaks..

In Korea they would round up 10 or 15 kids and hand them each a grenade. They would run as a group towards a US tank, and try to get one grenade on top of the drivers hatch or the engine compartment. Children have been used for some nasty things since the beginning of time. It's just making the news nowadays.

I am a resident of Columbine in Littleton, CO. I call a staged event with this shooting.

I watched her "brother" on channel 9 news and he seemed to be acting.

How on Earth did a grieving man have time to fly from San Antonio to Denver, go to the crime scene and be on the Channel 9 News AND write a blog about his sister?

I think this whole thing is staged in order to instill more fear in us. Next we will have to go through metal detectors and a pat down to go to a flippin' movie.

Wow, get a grip. The FBI agent was discussing the type of bomb and tear gas he might have used, and they were going through all the options. The most likely thing was that he made his own pipe bomb, and just used mace canisters. The exact weapons are not known, but it is known that explosives were used.

So kindly, get off my ass. I have been following this more than anyone here since it started and you new people barge in and try to tell me how things went...

That has happened even in modern times.. in Iraq .. I saw a documentary with troops discussing how they would often give the local school children candy and treats .. and one day one of the adults packed explosives in the kids backpack and detonated it as the child ran up to the troops for candy .. it's sick..

You're entirely wrong .. a friend of mine's cousin was wounded in this attack, and her boyfriend killed.. this is not a staged event.

Ireland's crime statistics have all jumped a whopping 60% in serious crime such as kidnapping. Gun incidents have jumped 30%. Extortion and hijacking also up 30%, all in the last 5 years.

Clean your own house first before you comment on somebody else's.

Most of the time it isn't worth the extra payroll to man the doors, but for a big release, and midnight showing, they should have had someone either stationed at the door, or at least walking around and checking the doors every so often and keeping an eye on them.

Then why is it so easy for bat**** crazy individuals to get fire arms? Keep your freedoms and keep your guns but run a background check and psychological profile on anyone wanting to buy one. They do run background checks. If you sound enough to live on your own and not be in a mental hospital you should be free to purchase defensive weapons.

In a free society people and the society are free to progess or self destruct. Too many are acustome to living at the permission of the government having to ask to do anything.
