There are not death panels you intolerable fool! Prove, with actual data from the actual law where it states that a panel of doctors/lawyers/politicians will decide whether or not a person will get care or death. Prove it or shut up.

Fox News called, they want their argument back.

But seriously? HMOs are the true death panels, and only Universal healthcare can fix that. But you're probably against that too, because it would inconvenience you.

Name ONE way that under Obamacare. people having insurance will make the doctor see you in less time?

Isn't forcing an insurance carrier to cover you if you have pre-existing conditions the opposite of a death panel?

If you want to bring Tort Reform into this convo, fine by me. Tort reform is merely a corporate code word for getting rid of "frivilous lawsuits" and "Punitive Damages". remember the lady who spilled hot coffee on herself at McDonalds?

What you fail to realize is that the women needed skin transplants the coffee burned her so bad.

No, Mitt Romney has NEVER stated a specific plan for healthcare, only that he dislikes the new one. This is a bit like saying you dislike cheese burgers but refuse to give the drive through operator your actual order. All you keep saying is "no cheese burger".

Obamacare is like forcing workers to buy from the company store whether they want to or not. The products offered may not be what we want or need, but we will have no choice but to buy them anyway. If you don't buy from the company store they will send out goons to threaten you and seize whatever material possessions you have. Maybe even throw you in the pokey.
The operators of the company store do not answer to you. You have little or no options if they treat you unfairly. Who are you going to complain to? Your congressman? LOL. Good luck with that.

The thing that gets me is that in this scenario, you are in it for life. I think the Obama administration must have taken some pointers from the Godfather... They made us an offer we couldn't refuse.

Doctors are jumping out. They lose money on MediCare patients.

Lets see now. Fewer doctors and socialists throwing 30 million more people

into the system. That translates into.....take a number just like the Canadians.

The Canadians found a quick fix. It's called Medical Tourism.

If they feel like they have an elephant sitting on their chest they don't want to wait.

They fly to Texas.

So, you get to define people's motives for doing what they should be able to freely choose?

Is this not the social contract? Where do you live where your society doesn't determine motivations? Lol, this is an anarchistic point of view your expressing. Saying this is like saying "there is no point in government but to oppress".

Under ObamaCare you choose your own provider and can keep your current one. So you arguing that it makes workers buy their insurance from their own company is...I don't know, stupid?

We are one of the last holdouts. We shouldn't be. We are one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Its time to start acting like it. If you can afford healthcare, good for you. Here is a cookie. This is huge for people who can't afford it. It will give them the opportunity to have a healthy life. I read on this site everyday about the elite this and the elite that and how horrible "they" are. Your actions detail you as one of them. By attempting to deny your fellow human beings the chance at proper care your are setting yourself apart. Is that really your goal?

If TPTB wanted us to have 'Universal Healthcare’ they would have no age restriction on Medicare and its just that simple...

Dude, the IRS is not a goon squad. They collect taxes. EVERYONES taxes. I love how you insinuate jail time as well, which is totally erroneous. THERE IS NO JAIL TIME FOR OBAMACARE PENALTIES.

I am going to ask you to either stop spreading blatant lies on this forum or back up your arguments with SOME kind of proof.

I said nothing about Medicare. I said Insurance. Like the insurance that I have. BC/BS. Like that a majority of the country will have, not Medicare. We didn't get the Medicare for all plan passed, now did we? It was expanded some to include others below the poverty line, which may even effect you, but I was still able to receive insurance.

How will purchased insurance slow down the doctors office? You forgot to address that part.

So where are those doctors going to be practacing if they're not in the US anymore. We are the last 1st world country without Universal Healthcare.

You know where we rank on the list of healthcare quality in the world? 37th.
en.wikipedia.org...

www.reuters.com...

So, where are your articles to back up your claims?

Are we going to have any say in how much the co-pays are going to be if we have to purchase health insurance through the government exchange program? Are we going to have any choice in the matter?
How much do you want to bet that the people in control are going to be appointed and not elected officials?
Once this bureaucracy is in place it will be damn near impossible to remove.
I truly feel sorry for those who are trusting that their government knows what is best for them and will do the right thing.

The US will continue to import healthcare. The clock is ticking on

ObamaCare. When it gets repealed in 2013, the observation will be made that the

American people tried on a socialist suit and it did not fit.

You watch too much fox news, where a panel of doctors are ALL against obamacare with not a single dissenting comment. You refuse to accept that what you call 'socialism' is just your way of saying "I don't wanna pay for that black guy". Even though by this same logic, public schools, firefighters, police, THE NFL, are all socialist organizations. But then you say Canada solved this problem with medical tourism.
So let me get this straight, Canada fixed its social medicine problem by letting illegal immigrants steal from them? Your logic is laughable my friend..

It's weird you'd rather have elected officials rather than doctors talking about, y'know, healthcare.

I'd totally rather have healthcare professionals making healthcare rules. They went to school for it.

Texas capped punitive damages at 250k, yup. That means the judge can only award the woman from McDonalds (hypothetical example) 250k, even though the surgeries and mental anguish amount to much more than just 250k. And yet you claim the ladys lawyers are happy about it and make more money.

Stop embarrassing yourself.
