so your in a bar with mates,
maybe sitting in a restaurant after a good meal,
or just at somebodies house having a good time.
then the subject pops up.
how do you deal with it?

do you dive right in armed with the knowledge gained from years research?
do you silently listen and smile inwardly?
do you throw out the odd searching question to see who knows what?
do you get your coat and leave immediately?

its a passionate subject with firm believers on both sides,
we will never know the truth, such is government.
i have learned to never debate the subject with anyone who cannot answer the following simple questions:

What is NIST?
Who is Larry Silverstien?
Who is Richard Gage?
What is the melting temperature of steel?

That is my strategy to avoid argument, what is yours?

PEACE,
RK

How to approach the subject in public? Probably not by stating in an authoritative tone that one knows it is an inside job, a scam, a con, a travesty of justice. Just an idea...

ETA Almost forgot. I tend to not discuss certain things with certain people.
Certain people can sometimes be just about everyone.

I generally let them shoot their mouths off first. Then I show them where to find the info that proves their conspiracy theories are wrong.

Ha! I have asked some of the same and similar questions to people who butted in on a conversation they were not a part of.

I avoid talking about 9/11 with most people. I have friends who believe the official story, but are thick-skinned and capable of remaining friends after a debate on the subject, but with random people I steer clear of the topic.

I have already alienated friends, family, and even co-workers when talking about the things that don't add up regarding 9/11. I like to think I've learned my lesson.

But, regarding your questions, it's sickly funny to me how many people SWEAR that the 9/11 Comission's version is true, yet know NOTHING about the key players or events of that day.

Hey, where's that info?

I've been researching 9/11 for 10 years now. 9/11 is the conspiracy that opened up the world of conspiracy theory for me. To date I have not seen an account from either side that I could claim was 100% true.

If you have some secret info that blows the lid off of the whole debate, please share. We're all here for enlightenment.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe we should start with what you consider key people and key events. Just to establish a starting point.

OP Those four are good but I would add Building 7 and David Ray Griffin to your list.

Yes, by all means add the charlatan DRG to the mix. Let's further confuse people.

19 alleged bombers, 6 of whom are still alive to this day and one even flies for Saudi Airlines.

How's that?

Just mention building 7. Chances are the person your talking to knows nothing about it. You could then go on & talk about the tiny hole in the pentagon the 'plane' made.

There is no discussion, just tell them to read Dr. Judy Wood' book, "Where Did The Towers Go"

Nuff said

My thoughts exactly,
if your discussion group do not know who the "key players" are, theres not much point in debate,
I have had many a discussion with a CNN educated expert.....

And you choose to start off with one of the biggest lies in the "truth" movement. In the first few days, yes, a couple of men were named as hijackers, who were still very much alive. As the information was gathered, critical aspects of Arab names were overlooked. Those errors were connected. The list of hijackers as published by the FBI in October 2001, does NOT show anyone who is still alive. The identity of the hijackers were confirmed by their families and their respective governments.

Ninety-five feet wide is a "tiny" hole? Seems rather large to me.

Steel melted, buildings disintegrated, nothing was left except for a huge pile of rubble, dust and mess...and a single passport, completely intact. Dude, please.

And listing Judy Woods as a source disqualifies you from a serious discussion about the events of that day. Have a good evening.

So you are saying that people with the same names as the hijackers are still alive? That would mean that different people can have the same name, that is pretty amazing. But not really an argument for a conspiracy

The buildings did not disintegrate, nor was that passport the only personal effect found. So far, the responses on here have shown that several of you are severely misinformed.
