I have a decent memory.
My memory tells me you should look into the OP's post history.
It's not the first time she has posted in this manner. I can tell you why I think a person, like the OP, would think and speak the way she does. It's not a pretty story and hence only through pm.
All I can say is though; she is not to blame.

I am not bothered in the least bit by those who are greatly bothered by my statments.
I did not offend anyone. All I did was discuss with other members why I, a black woman, switched parties. This is regardless of what I have thought in the past, or even what I thought last year. Just the same way that I abandoned Christianity.
So go ahead and try to shift the attention off of my statements. You are mad that I have hit home with a lot of people, and many more may start waking up to the democratic party.
Still, I appreciate you giving my thread attention at all.

“A black kid asks his mom, ‘Mama, what’s a democracy?’
“‘Well, son, that be when white folks work every day so us po’ folks can get all our benefits.’
“‘But mama, don’t the white folk get mad about that?’
“‘They sho do, son. They sho do. And that’s called racism.’”
Marler claims that she will no longer use the joke to begin her speeches.
The joke comes at the most inopportune time for the Tea Party, which has been denying that their followers are racist.

Im Hispanic, was raised in a "democrats" household, I left after Obama got the primary. Now I am registered republican, but honestly I lean Dem on some issues and Rep on other.
I can't see voting for either in the upcoming elections, don't know what ill vote.

I can understand.
Even though I will be voting republican, I don't agree with all 'republican ideologies'...for example, I am not religious, I believe in gay rights, and I support abortion.
See, people should not seek to find a party who identifies their stance on EVERY issue. that's impossible, I believe in the exercising the right to vote, so I would encourage all people to do so, and for the candidate who you feel strongest about to lead the country in a better direction.
While I love the fact that a black man is in the office, I understand that I do not support socialism.
