Do you republicans who aren't paid to post believe republican government will make abortion illegal?

You post this in reply to my insistence that voting does nothing to protect human rights, and you write this after yourself claiming you don't hold any party affiliation. The level of disingenuousness of many in this thread is astoundingly jaw dropping.

I'll tell you what your reply makes perfectly clear; you could give a rats ass about rights.

Awesome response and THANKS!

You are so right about the democrats breaking up the black family structure and perpetuating the generational poverty that occurs all to often, And you are also correct about how the dems on here...ooops, I mean "independents" have said that the republican party is "just as bad". You are right, I have never heard a conservative anywhere say anything like that.

So when a Democrat - oops, I mean "an independent"! (yeah, sure) - tells you that, hey, they understand that you don't want your children to be condemned to a life of violence and suppression, and then they turn around and say "but hey, don't buy into this hype about the importance of family", just understand that they're the opposition. They're the exact same people as the plantation owners and the Democrat party officials, even if they don't realize it.

This is not only wrong and offensive, but stupid. Being pro-choice (freedom) is in no way even remotely similar to slavery, actually forcing people to have children (and most likely be poor) is slavery though.

Yeah, but they told them NOT to get pregnant in the first place, so.....

It was democrats who have them believing that reproducing out of control and in poverty is ok, cuz good ole' unlcle sam will support you and the children.

I think abortion in this context is a hand grenade.

The Democrats throw it into the room without understanding it, in the hopes that the explosion will conceal the evidence of all the rest of their stupidity.

I won't debate abortion here or anywhere else, because the lies surrounding it are too deeply entrenched. But I will note that a dead fetus will never, ever, be free.

All anyone has to do is look up Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, and get a feel for her beliefs about race relations. That'll make it very clear that abortion isn't about protecting the health of mothers, but rather about eliminating black children from the gene pool.

It's monstrous both on an individual level and on a social policy level, and yet people have the gall to speak about it in terms of "convenience".

Even Jane Roe herself, she of Roe v Wade, came to realize that. She's now a staunch pro-life advocate.

Hurting those who need us most is never excusable. Especially when they're helpless.

YES INDEED!!

Thank you for mentioning about how the parties never 'switched sides'...the only thing that 'switched' was the blacks who were fooled into thinking that the Democrats -who upheld the slavery institution, formed the KKK, fought against Civil Rights and strongly opposed anti-segregation laws- was all of a sudden 'for them'.

Couple that with the Dems convincing blacks that the 'evil whites didn't like them. Later, some of the still racists whites in the south (Dixiecrats) were convinced to vote against the blacks, ie. republican party.

You are right; the republican party has remained loyal to their original stance of individual responsibility and equality among the races.

You know what is really sad? If you would have left out the fact that you went Republican................I could absolutely guarantee you this thread would have turned out a whole lot different.......sigh Just goes to show you how the division and team mentality is destroying this country! Keep up the great work guys! TPTB just love the hell out of you fighting with each other over who is right and who is wrong!

Yep....I see it as a bunch of "I know better than you" white liberal busy bodies who are very upset at the thought of a "very confused black girl" wandering off on her own and using her own mind!!!

Talk about racism...this is the real deal....not the "you are racist because you don't like the Pres crap"....all the patronizing to Butter that she dare think the GOP may be better...how dare she???

Libs are the one who want to regulate and control every aspect of business, private life, education, sex, religion, health right down to the size of the soda I can drink and you dare speak of freedom???

Wash your mouths out with soap...you have no right to speak of freedom, when you only agree with your idea of freedom....bunch of know it all uselful idiots for the democratic party.

Interesting and thoughtful thread Op...lol....I love "black chicks"....being an Irish girl myself....I think in another lifetime I was black? Anyways.....I also have lost "faith" in the Democratic party, and Obama has sealed the deal for me on just how "rigged" and crooked our government is. I remember being so amazed and happy when Obama became our President, I supported him....and it is some kind of "sick" twisted joke that he turned out to be a total "sellout"...if I was black it would piss me off more then it already does.

I supported Ron Paul, and it seems he "sold out" as well...at least his kid did...and that speaks volumes. I am sick of WAR and I don't support it...Obama promised to bring our troops home and THEN invades Libya without congressional support? He is worse then Bush, because at least you knew where Bush "came" from....the whole "wolf in sheep's clothing" disturbs me deeply.

I have officially "checked out"...I'm not playing by thier rules anymore....they can, and have taken everything I ever owned....so "bring it on" KILL me...I don't care anymore...meanwhile gonna listen to some "black chick" soul....one of the few things that still makes me smile.....♫

I have a question, Butter...when did you serve??

Shouldn't you have received help with school from the military?

Wow...where in the heck did you get all that bullcrap...NBC??

They want people to show ID to vote...you have to show it to get a beer??

They don't want religious institutions to have to pay for birth control, how is that banning it....any ho or her guy can walk into any CVS and get birthcontrol whenever they want it....oh poor things miht have to pay for it themselves...that is NOT a ban.

Guess what...Obamacare doesn't protect you from pre existing conditions either...better read up on that one.

Over react and LIE much??????

No one talked of ending medicare or SS they talked of finding a way to pay for it.....

It's hard for the liberal mind to comprehend such complexeties like having the money to pay for things.

From your article....we already have the fair pay act...this new one just piles on top of it allowing workers to discuss each others pay without retaliation and exempts the feds from lawsuits (you should like that that was shot down)...

Proponents of the bill say it is the next step after the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which Obama signed into law in 2009.

Another trick to make the GOO look bad so people who would never read the bill can say "see they hate women".

Late 90's to mid 2000's...I received help with school.

It was the other normal living expenses that the state discontinued for me.

There were over 900 anti abortion bills in this country last year, as I posted, some of which would also ban birth control like the pill.

No one talked of ending medicare or SS

George W Bush and every Tea Party Republican running for office in 2010.

How can people brazenly deny things that Republicans say every day of the year???

I don't think I could add a thing to that. Congratulations on escaping the democrat mindf*ck.

So you actually see that Republicans aren't really racist? Who woulda thought, with the socialist media pukes repeating the same lies over and over.

I was going to ask you why you posted this, but then I looked at some of your other posts and that explains everything I need to know about your motive. But I will say this as an African American woman and a Christian as far as this thread is concerned. I don't think I believe you, Butter Cookie. I simply do not believe anything you posted in it. I could say I have evidence and I could post something proving that, but why bother? You have your audience. You accomplished what you set out to accomplish.

Besides the polarity in this piece between the two parties, this is by far the best thing I've read on ATS this whole year. A rational, intelligent, driven, thinking person. Who sounds well on there way to doing whatever it is in the world they want to do.
