So, you're implying that Obama was born in Kenya, his parents found residency in Hawaii, decided to fly their less than a week old son from Kenya to Hawaii, and then contacted the local paper to report on it?

You have never seen a birth announcement where a couple native to a certain city, give birth overseas, yet it is announced in the local papers as if the birth happened in the states? It happens all the time. Just saying.

Really, I don't know what I believe any more. I feel that every politician lies. I watched a documentary on PBS the other night about Clinton and how he cheated on Hilary. It amazes me how well a lot of his earlier campaign managers were able to conceal his deceit. They all lie, and so, is it really far fetched for Obama to be lying too? Is it far fetched that maybe Obama has his own affairs? I just don't know anymore.

It's not like it is from a single piece of paper/flyer. It's part of a large listing of people on contract with the publicist at the time. I'm sure there are multiple copies, in many hands. BTW, the info a publicist uses, is provided by the person they represent. At that time, Obama wasn't anyone famous, why would anyone alter any information in his section of the booklet. Makes no sense.

In hindsight, I believe his grandmother was being truthful as most women of her age are. They naturally blurt out what they know, unrehearsed. The handlers didn't get a chance to get a hold of her previous to that to tell her what she can or cannot say. Let's all think about how our grandparents in their old age pretty much say whatever they want to, and what is known to them. It makes sense now.

Mr. Obama arrived in New York in August 1981, at age 20, from Occidental College in Los Angeles. According to his memoir, he passed his first night in an alley near 109th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, unable to get into his apartment. The next morning, he bathed at a hydrant alongside a homeless man.

This is quite a rags to riches tale, but I think what really happened here is, Mr Obama reached New York, found a suitable hotel to stay in and charged it to his Visa card. His mother was not poor by any means. Don't get me started on the whole lie about how is mother was fighting with her insurance company as she lay dying from cancer. That part of her story was fabricated to gain more support and make Obama look like he cared about health care. I feel disgusted that he used his mothers death to produce political theater.

Yep. When my grandma died, we were shocked to see family and friends of hers coming from Nebraska to the wake. When we asked how they found out, we then learned my Auntie had called the paper there, and they printed her obit without any type of verification. She faxed it and there it was.

This happens every day so...... it is not far fetched to think that this is the same circumstance of Obama's birth announcement.

Regardless of plane logs, or released birth certificates that have been fiddled with...... we still have Obama's grandmother's statement. I believe the old woman.

I agree, he's hiding something. A man does not pay out thousands upon thousands to teams of lawyers if he's not hiding something.

Youtube does not pull down a crap load of videos with his grandmother talking about his Kenyan birth, if there's nothing to hide either. I remember when youtube rushed to pull the videos, but it was too late, because many people already had those copied/downloaded.

I agree the pamphlet is there and it could be a fact checking error or.....something else. What I cannot do is call this woman I have never met nor know anything about a liar and feel good about myself. I am not sure how you do it. Liar is pretty demonizing.

It is pretty far fetched when you find out that is not how those birth announcements work. It has been explained in this thread and every other birther thread already that those announcements did not come from family submissions so yes, it is really really far fetched.

You mean the Grandmother who was interviewed via a translator and who corrected her own mistake seconds after making it? And by the way, Obama was born in that far-off era when there were no faxes.

Sorry, are you claiming that Breitbart was murdered or something? I thought that he was just a very unhealthy man who lived a very unhealthy lifestyle and who therefore unsurprisingly died of a heart attack.

Folks, as someone who took an oath ''...to defend the COTUS ...'' and mostly to you that would brush this off as no '' big deal ''. Our ''supreme law of the land'' was wrote that way for a reason.
