I believe the Sedins will score 3 goals before this can be stopped because their timing is so good.

Do to the Flames what they are trying to do to you play a cross-ice game but do it Canuks style.

Do you know what I mean by just tell the Sedins to turn that playction sideways? Have one drive to the halfwall then backpass cross-ice to the others one-timer backdoor.The Flames give up the middle this will roast them.

I would also suggest the forecheckers who re STAGGERED AND TIMED WELL make sure the deep man makes contact and slows back Flamer,if both staggered forecheckers can make contact then KEEP BODY POSITION PICKING THEIR MEN BACK then the Flamers will break down.The Flames try to absorb pressure and then stay close together to trnsition quickly,so removing 1 or 2 men from this group relly stops their process.It is the PLAYOFFS and hartley is expecting you to all pull up....if you are going to fight for it fight now and smash the kid Bennet,get with the program he is killing you.

Pick bennet and Wideman and lay the body to them HARD ND NASTY till the last shift ,every chance you get.

Push it to their net and bump their tender and the Flames will take penaltys....its the playoffs and you are facing elimination so you can take liberties.

Make sure you dont get fooled by the d-man they always keep lagging behind as they enter your zone,just time him right and remember they alwys feed it to the middle of the blueline they do not pinch the boards,



Obviously if the Nucks wish to win they need to SERIOUSLY HAMMER BENNET AND GET INTO THE FLAMES TENDERS GRILLE THESE ARE THE PLAYOFFS.

The Nucks are getting lots of solid possesions in deep around the perimeter of the net,stop looking cute pass and JAM every 2nd possesion to the net by hand,use some moves and drive it to the net 1/2 your possesions so close to the net,s a rule if you are within 15 feet drive it into the garage man.And the wraparound is classicly effective in playoff games and gives nice tight rebounds.

You ought to be hitting Goudreau and Bennet like mad.....you WILL REGRET IT OF YOU DO NOT DO THIS.The Flames have 2 OBVIOUS WEAK LINKS AND YOU ARE NOT TESTING THEM......jeepers get serious.

Remeber to focus on Wideman he is also a wek link use extended pursuit with Wideman force pucks to him then chase him down his footspeed is his weakness.

Nuckelheads....you dont need to stop them all,just neutralise 2 of them the 2 weakest the 2 most inexperienced ones,they work as one unit so take away their little weak legs by smashing them,its not complicated and Hartley is counting on you pulling up with these kids.....dont do it ...smash them cleanly by skating through them.

When you end up with 2 men up alone on the rush use the simple give and go....just keep it simple and cross-over in tight on them because their d-men stay gapped tightly,just simple give and goes finishing with tap-ins.

The Flames will give you the periphery around heir net hoping you try the cute short passes.....keep tking the possesions but you gotta simply drive 1/2 of them to the net looking for greasy goals. Use the wrap-around things dont always need to look pretty .

Their d-men challenge really high on their blueline together in pair tightly gapped laterally so why not fake the usual rush thru the n-zone and bait them to come up and cheat high like they do then use micro-dump to beat them,send one man after his short dump-in and one to the front,bang bang because they WILL give you the dump-in they WILL let you get to it first then try to get dominant position on you,so just make sure the 2nd man goes to the front and toss soft blind ducks from between your legs to the net-front after they let you get the dump-in first,dont hesitate and jostle with them just dump it in race to it and ASAP kick it back to the net front nothing fancy.If the Sedins forechecked this is their forte.

If you cant set up the forecheck as I said then the next best wy to stop their transition gme is to set up a man upice on the boards in the n-zone and hit their rushes laterally from the sides instead of trying to take them head on,pressure them from the very side boards in and force them into the middle by stationing one man on each board in the n-zone then collapsing laterlly on them with sprint speeds.this lateral attack usully produces excellent rutnovers because one man is closing ultra-fast from both directions,when pucks break back someone is always in rythem catching those loose pucks and running them right back.

You Nucks get the puck behind the net so much it is criminl....for gods sakes bank one in off some legs,wrap it in but stop waiting so long for the guy to try to get to the net,just get the pucks there faster man,and let tht guy follow up you are taking way to long to execute.

IT doesnt matter where you take the initial shot from...or how you enter the o-zone [as long as the back-door support is well timed and making eye contact with the puck carrier because this tactic is fluid and develops out of anywhere on the ice on the right side when the shot is released , close in, blueline, it matters not because the angle of the shot and its placement trigger everything you can be 20 feet out and shoot the puck at 65% and the tender will be forced to become your trigger] [the backdoor support DOES NOT HAVE TO BE RIGHT AT THE NET BECAUSE THE REBOUNDS WILL COME OUT WITH VELOCITY RELTIVE TO THE SHOT TAKEN YOU CAN ONE-TIME THOSE REBOUNDS/FORCED PASSES COMING FROM THE TENDERS FOOT FROM FAIR WAY OUT IF YOU TIME IT RIGHT.

Sid...you just need the forward rushing o-zone motion to set up your backdoor supports timing,the real focus is to get your men to force their structure to show their colors as you enter the zone looking structured,but as soon as your puck carrier breaks their blueline HE IS A FREE-LANCER and wherever he goes on his extended possesion as the triggerman he only communictes with the backdoor support he doesnt care about the rest of the structure,and the support man is ONLY CONCERNED WITH HIS TIMING TO THE INCOMING SHOT SO HE HAS TO MAKE VISUALS WITH THE PUCK CARRIER WHEREVER HE IS AND ADJUST HIS APPROACH AND TIMING TO FIT THE HOW AND WHERE THE INITIL SHOT IS COMING FROM WHICH WILL NOT BE A SET PLAY IT WILL BE FLUID.Remember everyone has a role and they MUST fill it.......

You didnt need to move Evigny but its ok,anyone can cash in on these tactics back-door.

They are playing a n-zone game,keeping one man back collapsing alone.......so you need to dump pucks in along the boards and slow so they stop in the corners to make this man pull away from the middle which he DOESNT WANT TO DO...this will make them drop another man back deep to recover those dump-ins on the boards because their structure depends on the man in front of the net staying there,he WILL go behind the net if you dump-in hard because this plays into their structures but if you lay the pucks into the 1/2 wall corner area he will be in no-mans-land and they will need to compensate.

The man who triggers the above forced rebound play is on an extended possesion with full control once he enters the o-zone just finding open ice not trying to support his teammates structures[hard for them to read] so HE IS ALSO THE PRIMARY SHOOTER AT ALL TIMES so dont be shy looking for a set-up because you are free-lancing you gotta be in a shooting minset when you are working only for open ice without being pinned into structural support looking for specific lanes or opportunitys.Once you feed 5 or 6 of these plays in row at their goalie his mind will get set,then advantage to your puck crroer triggerman instantly,and remeber to use the give and go more keep it simple,change your speeds frequently and mke them keep thinking.

Pay attention to their habit of bringing everyone up at once with lateral structure in their zone,it is a habit.

Sid.......on the forecheck...send one man in as early as you can high speed and puck focuesd,have him look for contact so he can REMOVE SOMEONE FROM THE PLAYACTION and pick them out get tied up or whatever dont just let him force a pass then go puck chaseing,keep the other 2 forwards pinching the boards on both sides or about the blueline NOT coming in fast because they will be focusing on LATERAL pressure towards the middle ...first they will cut off the outlets along the boards with their positioning this will encourge their d-men to bootleg it, then 2ndly they will be focusing on WINNING THE TIME AND SPACE BATTLE WHERE THE RANGERS DONT EXPECT IT IN THE N-ZONE....because if these 2 forecheckers come up with decieving speeds but then break off after triggering their structure then they hold position properly they will collapse from both sides WITH TIME to snuff the d-zone exit and the n-zone transitions.You need to look for big hits off of the lateral East/West attacks because you need to EXPLODE and sprint hard when you pressure laterally East/West you need players with the most explosive first 3-4 strides to close the lteral distances faster than the d-men can traverse the n-zone.You are breaking the n-zone battle down into a foot-race where you have the advantage.

Lets get something staight.......I WOULD NOT HAVE TRADED SEGUIN PROBLEMS OR NOT.....there is no such thing as a Championship team with no scars.....you cannot STERILISE a Team Dynamic and expect it to reach the optimal stage.

-The Oilers hire Darkhorse Analytics to counter the NHS claims of Intuitive DOMINANCE-they tried to replicate the NHS instead of just follow it
-The Oilers players lead by Sam Gagner begin to implement NHS tactics on their own and produce DYNASTY LEVEL RECORD RESULTS immediatly,beginning to introduce Ralph Krueger to the NHS.
-The Hawks get spanked by the Oilers who now have 1/3 of their roster working together using the NHS concepts ....Scotty Bowman post-game says he identified NEW TRANSITION tactics being used by the Oilers and he was going to have his managers look at them.
-Oilers create Hackathon to capture NHS inputs and silence them....not to legitimately work together...NHS balks...
-The Hawks endorse NHS and win Cup
-The Oilers hire Eakins and Dellow who both try to pretend they know the NHS or can "crack the code" to copy-cat it.
-The Kings make NHS adjustments and evolve themselves and win another Cup
-The Blues come on-board,so do the Flames ,Rangers,Islanders,Canucks and others
-The Oilers fire Ekins

What exactly am I suppossed to represent as being a recent decision with positive future potentials???

You see fellas,it is the SYSTEM OR PROCESS which was missing the entire time.

Because I havent seen or heard of a new SYSTEM or PROCESS being brought to town.....there is no reason to be positive...just reason to believe Peter has been put in a dangerous position of being half blindfolded with a William Tell hat on and a loaded hair-trigger revolver placed in his hands while the Oilers Core sit along a wall with Big Red Apples sitting on all of their heads.

I simply do NOT see a new currently winning System being brought in which would support the activation within the process of a tactical builder with such one-dimensional views as Peter has.This is absolutely dangerous unless he can be handled properly and has very tightly controlled parameters to work freely within.I see a Tainwreck coming sooner than later.

Pat Quinn didnt "need" anything NHS he understood it ,validated it and incorporated it all from the get-go.History will show that the great late and respected Hockey legend Pat Quinn HAD THE OILERS ON THE RIGHT TRACK FROM DAY-ONE.He DID cue in immediatly to the NHSs value.
-Renney was in a position to use the NHS but it was still young itself .Management wasnt playing nice with the NHS by then.
-Krueger WAS beginning to work with the men on NHS concepts and they began to hit home-runs -he got gunned for doing it to---someone above him was grudging on the NHS.Krueger is Players Coach who was listening to and learning with the Men ......someone didnt like this direction becuse it led directly to the NHS.
-Mac-T looks for someone who can copy-cat the NHS so he doesnt have to capitulate kiss arse and go to the original source which the Players AND Krueger are gravitting towards doing based on winning positive results and finds just the con he is looking for.
-Ralph is fired to stop the NHS from seeping any further into the Oilers process and to stop validation by proxy.
-Eakins is hired and brings in Ference to CLEAN OUT ALL PLAYERS WHO EVEN UTTER THE LETTERS NHS....and the ENTIRE ROSTER IS PURGED SAVE THE CORE.
-Eakins NEEDED the NHS but pretended he already had it with his advanced stats pals smokescreen help----so even if Management gave him lattitude to retain the NHS he refused to do so and instead blatantly and in the face of conventions supported advanced stats gurus right to his demise.
-Nelson has knowledge of this history and IS already using NHS concepts and will continue to evolve with them on an EQUAL level with the other Coaches doing as he is doing,the last 3 cups were won by NHS influenced teams as will this sesons be.Nelson is on the cutting edge and in as solid a position as top echelon Western Conference teams have with the NHS right now.


You see Dum-Dums.....YOU and ...yes...Peter....have NO responsible dilligent option besides letting Nelson continue to evolve his own and the rosters NOW PEER COMPETATIVE NHS concepts and philosophies.

Nelson is AHEAD of nyone you can possibly bring in and the CORE PLAYERS all know the NHS already...THIS DUM-DUMS is why they hve come together seamlessly like a true-blue Team for the first time in decades....they have a COMMON CAUSE NOW......unfortunately dummies you have again shot yourselves in the foot because your current and INCOMING Management either can not or they refuse to honestly and properly valuate what nelson has done and how and why it has happened.

SOOOO many diamonds are dropped at your feet but you guys just dont know what they are if they arent glittering with misdirective stats coatings.

If you are top level NHL player considering coming to Edmonton DO NOT DO SO NOW........you must be completely aware that Peter and Bob CANNOT give you a Head Coach who will know the NHS better than Nelly and the Oilers Core.....you WILL NOT be walking into an NHS culture....you would be better served if you want to win to go to any WC Team using NHS tactics or the Isles or Rangers or the few EC ones beginning this year.They will lead the NHLs evolution over the next 10 years+.

In fact if you dont get Management to tell you they are with a 100% certainty retaining the REAL NHS....tell them that you are not interested,that you want to win.

A Peter/Babcock combo would get schooled by any NHS team....so they will simply be struggeling to make up ground they have lost over the last 4+ years while Nelly is on the cutting edge of the wave.

Peters decisions will ALL be wrong if the Process driving him isnt immediatly tempered by some serious Intuition.....

Babcock wont have a rats chance in a thunderstorm of doing one bit better than any past Oiler Head Coach if he doesnt immeditly also convert to NHS concepts like the rest of the NHL are currently doing.Babcock is born and bred in the same place the NHSs creator is from.If he comes in as Nelson Asst. with a mindset of WINNING MORE THAN being Head Coach, much as Olympic managers also forgo tenure issues and just seamlessly fall together perfectly because of the willingness and desire to WIN.

I will take a temporarliy hog-tied Peter and a humble Babcock....with willingness to learn the NHS and give them a chance to understand the NHLs current evolutions from the WINNERS PERSPECTIVE so they my optimise their own skillsets BEFORE they are forced to create their perspectives of how things stand.Once they learn they will understand why they NEED TO BECOME STUDENTS OF NELLY AND THE CORE.....before they are up to par with how to win in todays NHL.I with a 100% certainty believe that after a 2 -hour meeting both Peter AND Mike would be on-board immediatly and then the NHS would be mainlined into Canadian Hockey at evey level by proxy.Good thing because a few other Countries are already on it.

The NHS WILL help Nelly and the Roster and anyone supporting them to produce 3x 100+ point players next season with one 120+er....2x 50 goal scorers and a 60+er.

4 to 7 goals per game with all-star defensive stats for those stats junkies to ponder.All-Star nominated Goaltending no matter who we plug in.
