Just found this at The Anomalist, and it's also been on io9. (two of my favourite sites.) Whatever the case, they sure know how to get publicity!

The video is said to belong to the Aerial Phenomenon Investigations Team. But the team's website gives away the story. If you click on their Blog, you'll find an item for February 19, 2012, that's entitled "New API Promo Video!" with a frame from the alleged MIB video. Clicking on the link for the video leads to a different video presentation, however. All in all it's likely to be a promo for the upcoming Men in Black 3 movie opening on May 25th.

Source : www.anomalist.com...

Great find, robhines.
I guess the real questions then are:
Is API just a manufactured false organization designed as back up support of the MiB video for a viral marketing campaign for MiB3?

Is Antonio Paris (it's director) really looking for a career as a serious ufo researcher...or is he continuing an already established career in brand marketing?

This brings back something I came across about a week ago when I was going through some of Antonio Paris' Aerial Phenomenon's OTHER older YouTube posts...At the time I didn't give it much thought.

Click the link below...

Go down to the comments section below the video screen...

Read Mr. Paris' response about Trader Joes stores...
www.youtube.com...
Does that comment look like it may be connected to brand marketing for possibly another client (Trader Joes)?

Since it will probably be deleted very soon,
Here is the comment (my quotation marks):

Jonathan .... starting this Friday we are marketing/selling the Refuel Power Bagel with 25grams of protein. Come by and try one for free. Whole grain bagel, special blend of PB, Amp Whey/Soy Whey; honey, and raw nuts/grains.
aerialphenomenon 1 week ago "

I wanted this video to be true...and I wanted to believe that it was coming from a trustworth source...but, unless Antonio Paris and Aerial Phenomenon can explain to everyone why their name is attached to a brand marketing add...the idea that this video is indeed part of a viral brand marketing campaign and an unfortunate hoax simply cannot be discounted.

Haven't got the foggiest really, and aren't that interested in this whole thing either after the "case" started looking more and more dodgy. Only reason I posted was because it was on The Anomalist.

If we add up all the time that each person has wasted looking at this thread then I'm sure that would total quite a considerable amount of man-hours.

Such a waste of resource should be considered a crime in my opinion :/

It's not the time spent looking at this thread that is the crime; it is the fraud perpetrated by Antonio Paris and the API gang.

Your ignorance and arrogance is appalling.

Do some reading and research before spouting idiotic statements like that.

Where did the idea originate for the M.I.B. movies? Hollywood butchered the source material like they always tend to do,adding,exaggerating,removing,falsifying...Actual reports and experiences from real people for $$$.(possible disinfo as well)

The actual reports from individuals who purportedly encountered the m.i.b. paint a much darker almost sinister picture than what you have seen in those Hollywood productions, those movies couldn't be further from the truth imo.

It does not mean you have to believe them but those who keep saying "it's a movie", "those are the guys from fringe"...The true men in black of ufology is what influenced these representations and deviations of the actual reported encounters...Not the other way around.

Pardon me,I had to get that off of my chest.

I'm afraid you're the one who is spouting idiotic statements. This thread is not about whether or not there have been reports of encounters with "Men In Black," This thread is about a specific encounter with men in black that has been shown to be a hoax:

Tales of "men in black" have been around for awhile, however the movies are based off comic books written by Lowell Cunningham. I only know that because he was at the University of Tennessee Knoxville when he wrote the books, so there was some media coverage when the first movie came out. Here's an article the New York Times ran on him: Men in Black Come From His Galaxy

One of the things he says in the article that I think is relevant right now.

''It amazed me that someone else hadn't been bright enough to capitalize on this,''
'This' being the Men in Black.

Also, more people have called this video a "prank".

My guess is that this is an elaborate prank, or possibly even a planted video to subtly promote the upcoming Men in Black III movie. If they were genuine Men in Black -- presumably aliens, interdimensionals, or time travelers -- why would they continue to look and behave in such an obvious, attention-getting way? Why go to the trouble of trying to question a hotel employee about a rather routine UFO sighting? It doesn't make sense.

That it's a prank makes much more sense. I'm not saying the Aerial Phenomena Investigations Team is responsible for the prank, but someone is. What do you think? paranormal.about.com

And I noticed that API has retweeted the link for the video, this time with "The real Men in Black video. Case 12-001-CE1" twitter.com

So now API is claiming this isn't a hoax and it is real??

I am afraid I was quoting another member that you seem to have possibly missed/misconstrued? How am I spouting idiotic comments? I followed the last thread with the original m.i.b. video,I am aware of what this thread is about.

The subject still stands as 'men in black' related,so as far am I concerned I was staying on topic, making a point.

I responded with my previous post, how exactly did I perpetrate ignorance, arrogance, idiocy? I am not the one who is going around saying M.I.B. are movie fantasy and threatening to report the OP. ( That is idiotic
)

I merely corrected the false accusations and statements,I stand firm with my convictions. I was attempting to 'deny ignorance' and give a nudge in the right direction because obviously the gentlemen/lady is ignorant to some pertinent information and facts etc.

Come on man,I am not stupid,I know what thread I am on presently...When I am sober at least.

I heard about this video a month or so ago and then I saw a movie called "Dark City" its the original matrix movie and in it there are guys who look exactly like these two. White, black clothes hats, creepy etc etc..

In the movie they say these people came from another planet and wanted to find the human soul because they were going extinct or something. Its probebly just a loose connection, but It seemed interesting.

Great find so it is more than just us who look at it and cant help but see hoax. I stand by that Shane Sovar HOAXED API and Antonio Paris thought.

I think once they figured it out for sure, they didnt take the high road and admit, hey we got hoaxed sorry blah blah. Instead they said screw it lets keep riding it. Using it to gain popularity and to prey on the gullible

I look at the radio interviews and wonder how it moved so faxt and how so many people fell blindly for it. Didnt look into it or investigate it. The video came out and exploded. I think you might be on to something with the thought of them using mib3 to their advantage.

A few things bother me about me about this case and video. First is the blue flashing that begins when the witness makes the comment about their hypnotic blue eyes. How can anything these people be taken seriously when they employ such a sophomoric approach?

More bothersome is just how closely this case adheres to the age-old story of the MiB. You've got a seemingly-epic UFO encounter involving a craft identical in its description to the famous "Belgian UFO". Following that is a visit by these two strange men described as completely hairless (no eyebrows or eyelashes, etc.), extremely pale skin, taller than normal yet identical in height, identical attire (including the signature hat that went out of fashion in the 50s), abnormally large eyes, and a general impression of other worldliness. The CCTV footage is actually less compelling than the witness testimony and isn't proof of anything. The video quality is poor and the features that are described are not apparent, with the exception of the men's generally similar appearance and attire. My general impression is that this is a completely manufactured and overreaching presentation of an incident that may or may not have occurred.

The aspect of the whole MiB thing that makes no sense to me whatsoever, is that they apparently haven't upgraded their appearance, attire, or MO since they were first popularized decades ago. If these MiB are humans working for the government or some other power entity, they surely would have modified their attire and methods as time passed. If they're non-humans (i.e. extraterrestrial or extradimensional) affiliated with the UFOs, then why haven't they made any progress in assimilating with humans, or even in mimicking contemporary fashion, since the 1950s? It just doesn't add up.

Sorry the lighter shade is actually the orignal, the blown up version is what i done..... before and after.

There is practically nothing of there face to enhance or show, im thinking that camera is used for geting a rough description of a person not face detail

Great work, thank you for that blow up, wisper.
The MiB in the lower left (especially) really does appear to have had his face digitally blurred.
