Deer hunting seems a viable option, but I'm inclined to give the deer more credit at this point. I think the deer would call Antonio's bluff and be liable to think he is firing blanks.... if not, maybe a Nerf gun. And yes, I wonder where he would be sitting at a typical Army-Navy game. Just wait, I think he can squeeze some time with Marine Recon as well LOL

I would definitely agree and venture to guess that Cigman = Smokeman.... kind of like multiple personalities. Doesn't matter. Like I always say.... "Same smell, different sh**"

Seriously, I do applaud API for their uncanny ability to elicit an audience and some form of response. Too many chances have passed for them to redeem themselves or earn respect. But that ship sailed a while ago.

And a MIB feature in the Halloween attraction doesn't seem far fetched for them. It's quite interesting how events play out. I am, however, anxiously awaiting their upcoming videos on Area 51. That is how they grabbed my attention in the first place.... Then suddenly, that seemed to take a backseat to the MIB.

Now if API released a GOOD video of the same two gangsters, Jews, or whatever-ya-wanna-call-em guys walking into or out of the gates at Area 51, then I'd be inclined to recant all of my comments---after careful analysis of the video of course LOL

Well to be fair, this ufo board is somewhat of a joke. You have serious cases, which garner a few pages and fade into obscurity. Then you have a picture of a white umbrella on someone's porch, and it gets dozens. It's really quite sad. And then you get a proliferation of two types of posts. Either: "fake lol!".. or you get a bunch of know-it-alls who post that they know definitively what it is. And it's rather funny, because quite often, you'll get a dozen different explanations in the first 10 pages. Most people do a 30 second "study" of a video and claim they know it's a hoax for reason X or Y. And it's usually at odds with the other "expert" debunkers. They can't all be right. But all of them think that they are.

So.. yea, I could see why any organization that actually wants to do a serious study of any sighting, would avoid this site like the plague. Not saying this particular organization has any merit, or anything else.. but I can see where they would be coming from.

That doesn't mean ATS debunkers need to be taken for some godly professionals anyone should listen, more like the opposite, pseudo-debunkers, though I admit when some real hoax is exposed and how it was made, these are rare cases but the ones that deserve applause.

Like I said, I am not judging this organization one way or the other. Just saying in general, I'd not want my organization to be associated with this site either in regards to UFOs. And that fellow was attacked almost immediately upon posting. He said he was trying to protect the interests of his clients, and a slew of members go off on him for not posting the entire video, instead of respecting his decision. That is the modus operandi of the UFO forum. Attack immediately, debunk immediately. It's as if there is a race to see who can debunk it first. Why do you think there are so many posts from mods on this forum, like from Springer? And people ignore that, and still take up the attack.. still insult people, still laugh at people.

All while conveniently ignoring the cases that have real merit. If it can't be easily debunked, they ignore it. So the ridiculous posts stay up for weeks, the great ones disappear quickly, buried under the avalanche of bullcrap.

First and foremost, this post is going to be looong! So please bear with me. On a serious note, I want you to understand that I am not patronizing you, talking down to you, or making fun of you. To address your points....

You may think you're not judging one way or another... but you are. It's human nature and we all do it autonomously, most often beyond our own control. There's nothing wrong with it, and I think we all are mature enough to accept some form of judgment at least once in our life. You are judged immediately once you post a comment here. You are judged even moreso when you make a strong assertion on this forum. And those who don't provide input, but casually stroll through and observe, well, they judge too. Nothing wrong with it at all. It is what it is and we all should be able to handle it.

First off, Paris was attacked fairly early on because it was as just as quickly apparent what his motives were/are. His background was already in question long before he made himself known on ATS. I can only assume he thought members of one forum are completely different from members of another forum, and that information on both forums are somehow segregated. And his assertions and implications just raised a lot of red flags. Second, when the videos and investigations he put forth were dissected and analyzed, coupled with the circumstantial information surrounding those videos and his investigative methods, it was nearly impossible to discount all of the irregularities of the overall picture. Protect the interests of his clients? One of whom happens to be a team member? Bogus... Thirdly, I can say that I agree when you said that we "attack immediately, debunk immediately" because I think people are fed up with being presented with obvious BS. And you can't blame the "speed" at which the constructive criticism is executed. You should be greatful that there are many quick-witted/keen individuals here that are watching your back and seeking the same as you---good evidence that leads to insightful discussions (NOT some sort of slap you in the face, kick you in the crotch, publicity stunt). And lastly, I think people were/are passionate about unearthing fakes/hoaxes and the stunts that propagate or are propagated by them, because it either helps filters out some of the already outrageous and unbelievable stories that are already here (Lest we forget, we are after all on ATS). Or it demonstrates how serious people are about certain issues and stories. Some people dedicate their lives, retirement annuities, and precious time to researching things like UFOs, MIBs, and other worldly-conspiracies, because they want to know the truth. API, capitalizes on this merely and solely for profit---at least, so it seems thus far. And call it preemptive, or being cautious. I call it erring on the side of reality, not fantasy.... or fallacy.

The jokes, I think, are all in good fun. How else can one maintain sanity without a bit of humor? Realistically and admittingly, I think most of us use the laughter to shroud some of our deepest feelings... in that many of us felt foolish or blatantly lied to. Some people take stories about MIBs seriously. Me? Well, since I worked for the government, I can argue that I was, myself, an MIB since I wore mostly dark suits and ties LOL. But frankly, I don't have even the slightest interest in the MIB conspiracy. But I respect that others do. And when you peak a person's interest so greatly by presenting a compelling video, then crush their hopes of finding the truth, well.... it's like finding out Santa Claus doesn't exist. Yes, he does exist! Why? Because my grand-daughter told me so LOL. So I think you shouldn't get defensive when I, or anyone else, resorts to simple jokes.

Eight months ago, I retired after years in government service, and spent the past few months travelling and enjoying my free time. Needless to say, many souvenirs, many great experiences, and a nearly drained "vacation" bank account later, I had much spare time to surf the web. As you can tell, I am a newbie to this web site. Came across it when I first heard of API back in 2011... then I put Google in overload. I came across like-minded critics here, and that is what compelled me to create an account and put in my two cents. Yes you can get on my case for only scrapping the tip of the iceberg on what goes on here on ATS. And by no means am I competing for popularity points or "stars." These past few weeks were eye-opening as I came to discover that ATS virtually covers all interesting and far-out topics imaginable. So please excuse me if I am not familiar with how the mods operate on this site. I'm not looking for drama as I have had my fare share in service.

Congruent to that, I am not even angry with Paris. I am mostly disappointed. Some may disagree, but if I met him in person, I wouldn't laugh, poke jokes, or punch him in the face because of the questions raised. I would have a patient, even-tempered, man-to-man talk with him. First I'd ask him to establish his credibility. If unsuccessful to do so, then, naturally he would hopefully answer my "why" questions. Then, I'd try to convince him to come clean, or at least engage in some other activity. Pragmatically though, I'd be most interested in establishing his credibility and getting the "why's" answered. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being an enthusiast turned-researcher. Frankly, there are more credible researchers in many fields who first established themselves originally as hobbyists. But to ride the coat tails of servicemembers or civil servants that did some important work for this country is inexcusable. It's like he assumes that he can't be taken seriously in ufology if he doesn't have the background that he claims. If he was, who he says he was, then I'd eat my words with salt and vinegar and let him spit on my shoe. But the obnoxious flapping of the red flags in the wind are too hard to ignore... and the evidence presented thus far is bittersweet nonetheless.

Trust me, it won't be long before this thread "dies" out. Who knows? My active comments on this site might cease once that happens too. I don't know. But before then, every now and again, someone will chime in with new info or new speculations and questions. Some of us hope this will compel answers or at least make him think twice about his intentions.

In the meantime, I respect your comments and views, and can only ask for you to lighten up a bit. If not, well, there's nothing I can do about that... except to keep you entertained I suppose.

LOL yes I read that and got the impression that he wanted to do as much damage control in the beginning as possible. I haven't seen Dennis submit a response yet.... maybe he's communicating with API and trying to uncover the facts? We'll have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, I also assume that news of the potential fraud has been spreading. Otherwise Antonio wouldn't have had to make the minor adjustment to his LinkedIn... He added that he has TS/SCI with Full-Scope Poly. Ummm okay.
