They already have us under control. How do you feel about the IRS? Gun Control is another avenue they have been trying. They have to let a few more people die off though leaving only non-resistors. Flouride in the water. Ritalin and Adderall to control the kids(my ancestor fought in the Revolutionary War at age 14, so even this age group has to be coralled). They have us running around getting tags, licenses, paying fees for this and that, permits, and so on and so forth.

But the right IS armed, and at least better trained than the left. But here it gets kind of complex. It's the Left that is making all the noise and crapping in the streets. It's the left that is breaking windows and starting fires, plotting to blow up bridges. The Right is not out doing any of those things. Compare the Mall after a Tea Party rally to the Occupy movement. Who leaves the trash (excretement, urine, etc.) scattered everywhere? Who picks up after themselves?

So here we have a leftist government preparing to fight a leftist uprising? That would be sweet! In any case I'll be on the side of law & order and against the Commies who have done nothing in the world but create totalitarian governments and kill millions of people. And while to Commies wear funny hats and advertise their lunacy, I'll just sit here in my cammo and wait.

I don't think we will be rounded up like sheep, most of the people I know won't be bothered with it until someone comes to the front door, and in that case, whomever comes to the front door will be shot. And will keep shooting until the ammo runs out. 47% of Americans own guns.

Besides, most Americans are too concerned with what the Kardashians are doing, than wondering what their government is doing.

So true. It's always a good little reminder. Back in '07 when I was just coming up on all of this 'alternative' information these headlines used to freak me out so bad, in fact I even had a terrible anxiety attack once because of it. 5 years later here I am and the world hasnt collapsed 'yet'. And we havent all been rounded up put on cattle cars and sent off to FEMA camps. Sensational news is found here just as well as the MSM, and it all has mostly the same purpose. Shock value in order to gain ratings. Not saying these things will never happen, but there is so much more to life than being scared of stepping outside your front door because of things you read online or sensationalized news we watch.

A wonderful song by TOOL Vicarious springs to mind.

Now when I see these headlines I click, read, indulge in a little what if, and then go outside smell the roses and watch my little boys face light up with joy as he chases a pigeon.

I think that is good advice, I think I will take it. Time to turn of the computer
and take a nice walk... enjoy nature.. and accept the dirt nap in my future.

While I was raised to believe in God, Heaven, etc... I have come to find great peace

I say bring it on, I'm not from the US but I'm sure if it's going to happen there my country can't be too far behind.

Let's just hope this doesn't come to pass. It will be a bloody war to say the least if the American citizens feel threatened by the gov. and are forced to retaliate in self defense. Hopefully this is just a rumor, hopefully....

I told some family a year ago that I was not completely confident the 2012 election would happen. That statement was of course met with the usual "this is America can't happen here" crap. Why? I asked. "They can't go against the constitution, or the people would never stand for it" were the responses.

Well, they are going against the constitution and people are either asking for more or tolerating it. I am even less confident of the election taking place now, a year later. If there is an upset in the GOP with Ron Paul the election is in grave jeopardy of not occurring. Simply put, the GOP wants obama to win and are trying very hard to give him the candidate he can beat. Keep in mind that Romney is the guy that got beat by the guy that got beat by obama last time around. Obama is going around saying he has 5 more years like he has already won the election and the only one they have mentioned running against is Romney.

In summary, if the election can be fraudulent and present the evil bastards what they want it will happen. obama will say "it's the will of the people, they wanted 4 more of the same". Give obama an actual candidate to run against and look for civil war and martial law, he won't give up the trappings of the office without a fight.
