Some of you worry me. No Government that denied the will of the people has stood the test of time. No military ever fielded has held. In the end every cop, every Military man in uniform stands for the people. Not to say the cost is not high but in the end tyrants fail. Freedom is human nature.

Ernest Hemingway once said a collapse (bankruptcy ruin) happens in two speeds...first very slowly....and then all of a sudden very quickly....
Don't embrace any normalcy bias...all fiat currency's collapse it is a ponzi our debt is in the trillions and next stop in the financial lexicon is quadrillion...
To service the JUST THE INTERST on the USA total debt takes the entire annual GDP of Saudi Arabia to pay off...
We recently (late last year) hit the threshold where USA debt to GDP is over 100% meaning we are now spending more than we bring in annually...and are barely covering interest payments...
We all have credit cards...we Ll know how the game ends when at first you can only pay the minimum interest down...
Next step is missed payments

What people here need to understand is that the military will NEVER come after civilians as some COINTELPRO sources say will happen.
The higher ups are to honor bound to fire the first shot against the population.
The whole snow job to make Iowa farm boys to be sent over seas to fight for our freedoms gets thrown right out the window.
That’s why when polled to see if our soldiers would fire on American citizens, over 80% says that they will not.
TPTB hope that we, the citizens of this country loose our cool and tip over the edge.
That alone, I think, would be the only way that they could sell to the military leaders the idea of tyranny in our streets and neighborhoods.
This all depends on WHO fires the first shot.
If we keep our cool and NOT start an armed conflict in the streets we will WIN our freedom back through popular support and the courts.

I must agree, logically, think about it. Does the american public have mobile armor? Air strike capabilities? There are a magnitude of weapons at their disposal, and this spells ease of crowd control. I hate saying, so dont think Im a supporter of TPTB. Im not!! I just know the resources they have and I acknowlege the fact that any major resistance will be met with the deployment of some major crowd control weapons, and maybe even complete sanitation of them.
Their would have to be a major military coup. Or a over 80% public revolt, this would make the grid come to a halt indeed.

There will never be a Civil War in the USA. Most people over there are too ignorant (they still love Obama, think 9/11 was a real terrorist attack and still believe in "We are #1!") and too fat and lazy to get their asses out of their seats. They rather continue to watch TV, believe everything FoxNews say and think everything's fine as they still can afford fake food from McDonalds.
So nothing will happen, certainly not Civil War
Election of Lincoln
The election of Abraham Lincoln to the presidency in 1860 is commonly viewed as the beginning of a chain of events that erupted into civil war in April 1861. Lincoln was the first member of the Republican Party elected to the presidency, a remarkable rise for a political party that had been in existence less than ten years. At the Republican Convention held in Chicago in 1860, Lincoln received his party’s nomination over several contenders, most notably William H. Seward of New York. Contrary to popular belief, Lincoln was not a backwoods farmer; rather, he was a respected lawyer from Illinois who had gained the national spotlight during his campaign for the United States Senate against Stephen A. Douglas in 1858.
source
On Tuesday, November 6th, 1860, Abraham Lincoln was elected the sixteenth President of the United States, with Hannibal Hamlin of Maine his Vice-President. Lincoln and Hamlin received 1,866,452 popular votes and 180 electoral votes in 17 of the 33 states. The Northern Democratic ticket of Douglas and Herschel V. Johnson of Georgia drew 1,376,957 popular votes, but only 12 electoral votes (9 from Missouri and 3 from New Jersey). The Southern Democratic ticket of Breckinridge and Joseph Lane of Oregon received 849,781 popular votes from 11 of the 15 slave states, for 72 electoral votes. The Constitutional Unionists Bell and John Everett of Massachusetts received 588,879 popular votes and 39 electoral votes (Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia).
Significantly, Lincoln carried all of the free states and none of the slave states. He was elected with just over a third of the popular vote, but an overwhelming victory in the Electoral College (180 to 123 for the other three candidates combined). When the election results were announced, the people of Charleston, South Carolina, began meeting and talking of succession. On November 10th, the legislature agreed to meet on December 17th to consider the question of secession. On December 20th, 1860, South Carolina dissolved the Union when its legislature voted to secede.

Dont panic and carry on enjoying your lives. The USA has enough enemies to worry about without starting things on home soil. The biggest risk is the lone lunatic with a machine gun or another extremist attack

The alternative would be elect ANYBODY who is ONLY concerned with making the lives of the many better, while preventing the few from benifiting from the hardship of ordinary working folk. The alternative would be to elect a person to represent your nation, who will break the nose and arms of any corperate lobbyist who tries to buy his favour, or his backing.
The alternative, in summary, would be to appoint a leader who is not a politician. It would be a good idea on my side of the pond also, but the majority of voting people are too dumb to realise that. Honestly I cannot say that anyone in either of our nations should vote next time around and refuse to vote at all until an appropriate candidate comes forward.
None of the privately selected morons in your nation or mine deserve a single ballot in thier favour.

Preparing - present tense? Hey DHS, many of us are ALREADY prepared.
Prepared to do what ? What are you trying to tell me that perhaps the DHS should have a good look at you and your residence? having guns in your house simply makes you are less questionable target and you will be a target and nothing more.
What happens once your family is starving ? there will be no hiding in the forest for you
