You can suspect whatever you'd like. It's immaterial. They should not be spraying anything. And we will have to agree to disagree on whether that is happening as we speak.

there's no evidence that they ARE "spraying" anything at all.

contrails are a visible manifestation of engine exhaust - but the exhaust is the same stuff at ground level or 35,000 ft - whether visible or not. the composition of the exhaust does not change just because you can see the water it is pumping out!

A lot of debunking but considering the number of approved PATENTS for weather 'modification' apparatus etc, I believe that we are fooling ourseleves if we continue to ignore what's happening in our skys:

That patent list dates back to 1920. So you think they've been planning chemtrails since then, and only just started implementing the plan?

Anyway, everyone knows that weather modification is nothing new. People have been cloud seeding for decades. Obviously there will be cloud seeding patents. So which of those patents have anything to do with "chemtrails"

I agree that weather modification has gone on for many years, and have no doubt that what is claimed to be chemtrails, is most likely connected to that. It's the claiming that what people are seeing is just 'contrails', is what bites!

As soon as you start adding things like Silver Iodine and Barrium etc, it becomes CHEMTRAILS in my book.

Weather modification started as early as 1903! (BTW not all is aerial. Cloud seeding can be done by ground generators, plane, or rocket)

Referring to the 1903, 1915, 1919 and 1944 and 1947 weather modification experiments, the Australian Federation of Meteorology discounted "rain making." By the 1950s the CSIRO Division of Radiophysics switched to investigating the physics of clouds and had hoped by 1957 to better understand these processes. By the 1960s the dreams of weather making had faded only to be re-ignited post-corporatisation of the Snowy Mountains Scheme in order to achieve "above target" water. This would provide enhanced energy generation and profits to the public agencies who are the principal owners. Cloud seeding has been shown to be effective in altering cloud structure and size and in converting supercooled liquid water to ice particles. The amount of precipitation due to seeding is difficult to quantify. Cloud seeding may also suppress precipitation. An Austrian study to use silver iodine seeding for hail prevention ran during 1981–2000, and the technique is still actively deployed there.

During the sixties, Irving P. Krick & Associates operated a successful cloud seeding operation in the area around Calgary, Alberta. This utilized both aircraft and ground-based generators that pumped silver iodide into the atmosphere in an attempt to reduce the threat of hail damage. Ralph Langeman, Lynn Garrison, and Stan McLeod, all ex-members of the RCAF's 403 Squadron, attending the University of Alberta, spent their summers flying hail suppression. A number of surplus Harvard aircraft were fitted with racks under each wing containing 32 railroad fuzees that were impregnated with silver iodide. These could be ignited individually or all at once, depending upon the threat. In coordination with ground units, the aircraft would lay a plume of silver iodide in front of approaching cumulo-nimbus clouds with noticeable effect. Large, active CBs were reduced to nothing. Heavy hail storms were reduced in intensity. This effective program was funded by farmer contributions and government grants

I think though that most people are looking at long white spreading lines in the sky, when they talk about "chemtrails". Seems like you mean something different? Just simple cloud seeding?

The simple difference with contrails & chemtrails is one's a natural occurance and isn't what we're concerned about, the other is the chemical 'soup' that's being sprayed and takes a lot longer to disperse.

Hell, governments put TOXIC fluoride in people's water, they add mercury to vacinnes, they add DU to shells and hundreds of other things...trouble is it's generally many years later that the effects actually catch-up, and people start asking questions.

Have you ever researched de-classified black budget programs from the last 70 or so years, to see what sort of things many governments have been involved in? Trouble is that it's usually many many years later that we get to know. So many tests have been done on the unsuspecting public, that it makes you hair stand on end!

It's appropriate to be suspicious of the people in power. They do bad things sometimes. I just don't see any visual difference between what people point to as "chemtrails" and regular persistent contrails.

In addition there's a HUGE amount of bunk floating around the topic - such as the highly inaccurate chemical tests - which I think casts significant doubt on the whole theory.

You can't base such a specific theory simply on suspicion - there has to be some actual evidence that the trails are different. Right now all we seem to have is that some people don't recall trails like this, but then lots of other people do, and most people don't even think about it. Plus the science books seem and the historical record to indicate trails have always been like this. Not a great basis for the theory, no matter how evil you think the worlds governments are.

Which is fair enough - but at least in these, and other cases we know that ther is somethign that exists - thiomersal, depleted uranium, fluoride - all these things exist - you can test for them and find them.

Not so with "chemtails" - no one knows what they are, nothing has ever been found that resembles what htey supposedly are, and there are several different theories as to what they might be - none of which actually have any verifiable evidence to support them.

By al means be suspicious - but suspicion should be about evaluating evidence to see whether the suspicion is founded - not leaping immediately to the conclusion that it is true DESPITE the evidence as so many chemmie seem to do!

There has never been any doubt that there is spraying of various types going on, so why are you so surprised by it??

But such spraying is not what chemtrails are.

chemtrails are high altitude, visible trails, covering long distances, invariably in clear blue skies, that supposedly are doing somethign secret - whether it be geoengineering the sky or the ground, poisoning us to achieve population control or amplifying HAARP.

They started in the mid 1990's - so cloud seeding from the 1950's and earlier cannot possibly be part of the conspiracy!

I think it's funny that after all the years that have gone by since the original knowledgeable post was made, it's like it was never made at all the the claims still persist. lol

Cloud seeding experimentation has been done on what amounts to an incredibly small scale. And the funny part is that under normal circumstances... it wouldn't leave any visible 'trail' at all. Ironically, the companies that have been involved with these small scale experimental efforts, actually have had to be somewhat discreet... Not because what they're doing is so terrible... but because the whole "chem-trail" thing has gotten so nuts, that they're actually afraid to publicly announce that they're doing what they do. In a time when 'eco-terorrists' do insane things like torching whole lots of new automobiles and starting forest fires... who knows what some of these people are capable of. So when you've got millions of dollars of aircraft sitting out in the open... you think they''re going to give some nuts a reason to set them on fire or something? So it's a case of a self-fulfilling conspiracy. The claim of a conspiracy, is actually what created secrecy. Not the other way around.

On patents... I've heard patents be used as 'proof' of something or another happening in the past. The truth is, anybody can file a patent on anything. If I wanted to file a patent tomorrow on an anti gravity car that can go to the moon and back... all I'd have to do is follow the basic requirements, submit my documents, pay the fee... and bam... There's my patent. Does that mean it will work? No. Does it mean anybody is ever going to make it? No. So that's not really proof of anything. Large corporations basically patent the crap out of anything they can think of, in the slight chance it ever gets produced. Then they can claim they own it. Most of it never gets made, nor is it possible to make.

You obviously haven't traveled much. You can see plenty of contrails all over the world. So if this was a global conspiracy it would have to involve the air forces of hundreds of countries. including places like China and Russia with whom we don't get along that well.

Thank you. I completely agree with your reasoning here. It is quite surprising to me that people are still debating the existence of chemtrails. At this point, it is blatantly obvious, at least to me, that chemtrails are real and dangerous to health.

The debate goes on because there's no proof other ther heresay and chemtrail websites. Kina like FEMA camps and no planers hurmous at best

If I really did want to spray chemicals all over the place for some unknown, irrational reason... Why would I not add an element to those chemicals that prevented freezing. That would allow the chemicals to distribute themselves much more widely while spraying, and most of all... completely eliminate lasting trails.

But of course... This will be just another logical point that the believers will dismiss.

Right up there with the fact that if it is in the fuel then the most obvious place for "finding it in the air" would be next to an airport - where airliners are using maximum thrust to take off at low altitude in large numbers - and not out in the wilderness/countryside thousands of feet under high level fligth routes that are not actually all that heavily flown compared to airport runways....

What a load of bologna. Chemtrails are real.
