I have been around the world actually, seen many places. My passport looks like a wall of a tattoo parlor.

I noticed one thing. Wherever porn is forbidden, are places that..well...truely sucked...
I said this to a south african friend when travelling around...you can tell if a place is alright if you see plenty of porn. heh

And pornography does not? Let us consider that physical is not the only form of damage which can be caused; factor in psychological, emotional, and spiritual. Simply because wounds cannot be physically observed through your senses, does not mean it is any less important. As for death, I agree that pornography does not cause death and that my analogy was not a perfect one but I was rushing.

I was not attempting to argue against your numbers and facts. They are presumably true. My point was not whether or not the facts are accurate but whether we should even consider those facts in drawing our conclusions about the net good. For example, we could say that cloning is a technological breakthrough resulting from years of scientific progress; but does that make cloning (human cloning I mean) a net good? It violates the natural order of things, thus the natural good, so it is a net harm.

Rape has been the staplemark of all civilizations since the dawning of time.

Not all civilizations, but yes it has been a frequent event, experiencing highs and lows, for thousands of years. My point was that under our more civilized Christendom it was at its lowest point in history. The Cultural Revolution served to raise its rate of incidence.

One thing that the sex revolution has allowed is for people to not feel ashamed about it.

And I give credit where credit is due. There are a few, very few, positive attributes which have resulted from the Cultural Revolution; this being one of them.

Rape is a crime of power, not passion. A person whom wants to simply get off...well, they got porn for that.

How did I blame it on women “being too sexy”? I never once said that just because a woman is beautiful she is asking to be raped. My remark was pertaining to those women who wear, as I said in my previous post, ‘promiscuous dress’. Even then they do not want to be raped. It is like when you hear a story of a man being hit by a bus after walking into traffic, you do not say that he wanted to get hit by a bus or that he deserved to be hit by the bus, rather that if you walk in traffic, do not be surprised if a bus hits you.

Here's reality. Most women play the game of attracting a male. Fortunately - - today - - we can be real about it.

I don't know about that. Women have been so suppressed about being sexual - - - I'm not sure what the real facts are.

I know when I was single - - I had men specifically for the Bootie Call - - - not to be the father of my children.
