i hate santorum with a passion, but the porn industry today is absolutely vile, compared to 30 years ago. i think that would be a good thing to attempt to rid the world of it.

47.3% of the population admits to viewing porn on the Internet on a regular basis. 52.6% lie and say they don't. Congrats to Santorum for alienating 99.9% of the population Of course this law against porn that he wants to pass will not apply to politicians.

I honestly did not think he could have made himself look like more of an idiot.

If anyone votes for him, it shows how out of touch they are with the world. I'm speechless, I cannot believe a man like him is a possibility for a future President.

Im checking to see if his statistic that The average age of first exposure to hard-core, Internet pornography is now 11. If true thats is a real problem.

No dude, the disdain for Santy is because he wants to legislate his faith and morals..he want his personal views on a individual connection with the universe to be legally enforced to everyone else.

Explain to me why I, a adult, cannot watch other consenting adults have intercourse. Explain to me why this choice should be ripped from me by a politician...that they should literally come into my bedroom, and remove anything the government deems naughty from my personal property...

If he is willing to rip your personal liberties on this, what else will he do to you personally because he finds it morally objectionable?

pre-net days. ahh hustler mags, how fun you were to sneak a peak at in my friends dads basement.

Anyhow, I heard they invented something over in china that monitors what your child looks at on the net. I think it is called "Parents" or something. not sure..may have to google it...but something about a couple of older people..and something about acknowledging the kids existence or something...donno you know how weird those asians are...what will they think of next.

Hustler is not considered hard core porn. looking at there first magazine at a 11 and being introduced to hard core porn or two very different things.

Pornography causes a lot of problems, I'll admit, but I have a problem when it comes to the government legislating morality. It doesn't work because not everyone has the same morality. It's immoral for unrelated men and women to congregate according to Allah/muhammad, so there are many laws in Islamic states that try to force people to be moral. Of course it seems barbaric to require women to have a guardian when they leave the house and we, Americans, would never have such a law..... but of course it starts somewhere.

If a Christian Pres. can set policy according to his beliefs, what's to stop a secular President from doing the same?
Keep America free. Unless it infringes on others rights and wellbeing. Sure you might get HIV, damn your soul, and disappoint your mom by being in the porn industry, but at least it was your choice.

Too bad this is America and what your god likes and does not like has nothing to do with the place. This is not a theocracy. Take your god and your caveman laws and buy yourself a nice little plot of land and start your own country. You are not going to make my America some dark ages theocracy.
