I noticed in the word list that the tapjoint word engine will think the word "TYPE" is the same as "T" and the word "FOURTEEN" is the same as "F" because they have the same word ID and are considered synonyms. It's just a shortcut that was placed there intentionally.

Man, I will be pissed if its for a PS Vita game. It's a game system I never plan to waste any money on at all, plus it means (to me at least), that the game won't be anywhere near as involved as the ARG we're playing is, portable games just aren't good at creating incredible engaging worlds.

Plus the jokes on the advertising company if it is. People would google tapjoint and find this thread, and see about 10 references to JJ Abrams new show Revolution, so essentially great free advertising. I'd die laughing, while thinking they probably deserve it for advertising a Vita game with an interesting ARG.

Well, I'm thinking its East Coast time, since power down is 20:15, and the news tends to sign off around 7pm Central? So maybe give it a window of time, I'd say it's somewhere in the America's standard time zones. We would know if it was supposedly China time because Mysterious Radio Man would be signing off in the morning, and beginning broadcasts at night.

If you are in key 16 and want to go back to key 14, use the mouse to tap instead of the keyboard and you automatically go out of keyboard mode and back to tapping mode. From that point, tap "T F" in key 15 which is [4-2] [---] [3-5] [---] [---] and you'll be back in keyboard mode for key 14.

The word-checking dictionary has been updated and the shortcut referred to above no longer works. The words "T" and "F" have been removed from the glossary by the creator.

Well, we will see what happens now.

Ha, just found out I won't have access to a computer until about midnight tomorrow. Looks like I'll be missing all of Illumination Day fun. Keep those posts extremely verbose guys and gals, I want to at least imagine like I was there.

That sucks i am logged on now (and in the EST zone) so i am patiently waiting to see if anything changes when the Day of Illumination begins

Looks like TapJoint made their first tweet about an hour ago. And it appears Wired Magazine has caught on to the game: Wired

An otherworldly narrative is playing out at TapJoint.com through coded messages transmitted using a virtual telegraph machine. The unknown sender tells of a city’s resistance movement gearing up for a revolution on Illumination Day, an annual holiday celebrated March 9th.

Nothing here seems to have happened here in EST. I'm thinking it might be Central Standard Time since the server is "located" in Kansas or somewhere in the mid-US.

Ask random questions, follow clues, document what you find to help you better understand it. That's basically it. lol. Apart from stating theories and investigating source code, we're all kinda stuck.

Another thing to consider is that it might not change until the night of the 9th. If you read the news clipping it is about Illumination Night. Just an idea.

if you tap in "type fourteen" in key 15 (4/2 5/5 1/3 5/3 ( Long hold) 3/5 5/4 ¾ 2/3 4/2 5/3 5/3 5/2 ) you can use your keyboard
