I noticed an interesting advertisement on ATS and clicked it. It went to a website called Tap Joint which looks strange and could be some sort of game. Here's the link:

Using the numbers and letters on the paper, the top line reads "Welcome to the City". You can tap the button to generate outgoing wire messages.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this site. If this has already been posted, sorry. I did a search and checked the firehose. Also, if it doesn't belong in this forum, mods please move it!

I tried to tap in the message written on the pad that says "the end is just the beginning". I botched part of the message and a new incoming message came in saying "This doesn't mean anything to me." Ha, funny.

There's also some weird noises in the background that play periodically. Guess it could be a voice slowed down or something.

I tried messing around with it but it couldn't ever get it to tap the letters I wanted. Every time I tried to tap twice it would either only count one of them or it would make it a space.

to type an outgoing message, you need to look at the key. first go across, then down to find the letter. pause between letters...

I tried typing what city but it kept screwing up.

the KEY

The "tapping" interface is really touchy, and the sound is delayed from when you tap it so I keep screwing up. To get a space between words you have to hold down the button for one longer pulse. To send your message when complete you have to send 2 spaces.

I'll attempt to send the message on the paper for the 10th time, but if you mess up one letter you have to start over which sucks.

yeah i keep screwing up too because of that......

my first repsonse. ignored. so i tried to ask "who are you" and i screwed up
im expecting a response "you are an idiot"

I'm running into the problem that every time I try to type a letter it lags and it's counting that as me holding it down so I get a space. I also got a response that started with 0/0 which is not on the key.

I ust said "hi" and it said "hey" back.

You have to hold down two times in a row for it to transmit out.

Turn your volume on if it isn't. They have a beep that sounds when switching through the sequence. Of course it's best to know what your tapping first, and tap as fast as possible.

Got it. Crakeur was right with "What city?" It was lagging bad so I couldn't see exactly what I got but it looked like a map with target sites.

"Dick Jacobs" and "power down".

Just came on the radio. Dick Jabobs died and is survived by his wife, and the city is powering down at 20:15

Well, I entered "the end is just the beginning" and the screen scrolled and somebody else in the room brought over three onions or strange fruit of some kind, then took them back. Huh?

I also heard a radio broadcast about a crash of some kind.
