It sounds like your whole family may be sensitive to ghosts/spirits. I'm not sure who these people were that you and your mom saw, but my guess would be it is either a family member checking on you, or a former resident that lived in the house.
As long as they don't cause any harm, let them be. However, if they do start acting up, tell them firmly that this is your house now and they need to respect that, or else you will have them removed.
That always works for me. LOL

I used to be as strong as a man when I was younger, but I had labor pains in my back while giving birth, and I've never been the same since. Nothing as bad as back pain; it affects so many areas of doing what you need to do in life.

Do you remember which threads you posted in? I'll check them out, if you do.
I look over other threads sometimes, but I rarely comment unless I feel I have something to offer. I've been here on ATS so long, sometimes the same topics revolving around that others post gets old... LOL

Of course, I never get tried of reading what the members post on this thread... that's different.

Look in the top right of the post and you will see "link". Right click on that and then copy. Paste it where you want to.

And there has been a lot of talk in the late page 90s about people encountering demonic beings at the onset of AP etc - that would be the "Dweller on the Threshold", wouldn't it? An entity that prevents the soul from seeing what it is not yet prepared for - if the projecting soul is ready it will not have fear and the Dweller will stand aside.

Put Dweller on the Threshold + Austin Osman Spare into Google images for a mystic artist's rendition of these entities.

Failed - had to go into work.

But it is the weekend now, and a lovely warm spring day, so all's well.

But it is amazing how quick time can go the older you get - you'd think a week would still be a week no matter how old you are. Perhaps there's a clue here to the mystery of time slips and missing time.

PS sorry for Brit sense of humour if anyone took me seriously and thought I was actually trying to time travel my way out of work.

Thanks for posting the links to those posts - Empaths are new to me and I have been reading up on everything paranormal for many years.

Do you think this is something new, or have there always been empaths, but we knew them under abother name? I am just wondering if we may be seeing a sign of humanity evolving and the emergence of enhancements to the way we think and feel are showing themselves through a small number of people, increasing through time.

And can you do anything like this remotely, such as over the phone or Internet?

While reading posts about objects teleporting and reappearing, it reminded me of one time in about 1984 when I was at home and playing with some "poker" dice - instead of no 1 to 6, the faces had 10, jack, queen, king etc, and they were rolled from a cylindrical leather cup.

I was messing about with these one day, in a corner of the room on the floor. There was a chair nearby which was off the floor by about 6 inches, and nothing else around, just the carpet and the corner where the living room walls met.

There were 5 of these dice, and I did another roll and then there were 4. I looked all round that area of the carpet for ages, but no sign of the missing - it had just gone right in front of me.

And it never turned up, though even now I still think I will run into someone someday with a story about how they found a poker dice in a tin of baked beans or something, and all these years later they still wonder how it got there.

I've been stepping aside to give you space on this forum. You have some great questions here, and right now "the real world" is looking at me with a frown, and tapping it's foot and looking at the clock -- Now the Real world is a different matter, and doesn't have a clock, or frown...but alas, right now, I know I had better tend to some chores or I'm in a heap of real world trouble, and that kind of trouble is, well, troublesome!

So, this is a polite way to ask if I can get back to you? I'm sure others have lots to say about this, but...no, I was about to say the short answer is yes, but something inside of me is saying no...let me get back to you...I suck under pressure.

There is a story behind my user name, which seems like it was all in my imagination all these years later, but at the time it was always on my mind trying to figure out what seemed like a puzzle with no solution. If nothing else, it gave me a good few years training in lateral thinking.

I was working in a shop in 1997, serving customers and taking cash. This was also a time when I was having night time visitors while under influence of SP - had same impression of these people as I did with the man in the doorway in north of Scotland.
This was also the time of the 2nd "great book reading" phase in my life - where all of a sudden I had the impulse to read every book on the paranormal that I could get my hands on.

One day a customer comes to counter to pay, gives me a £5 note, and just before I put it in the till I see my name handwritten on it, each line heavily written over for emphasis, and under it was written, in the same style, "12ARC".

I stared at it for a few seconds, then at the customer - her eyes averted with a hint of a smirk on her face - and then put it in the till and moved onto the next customer.

I have come to think, over the years, that I was just being trolled by some people I didn't get on with - mind games or something. But it was still a strange thing to do. And what made them come up with that?

So I tried not to think about it as time went on, but it was easier said than done - what if it was a message, something I need to figure out etc - and this going on with the other things mentioned above.
I don't think I would have paid much attention had it not been for the bedside visitors, but it got under my skin and I ending up reading books on such subjects as Rennes le Chateau and Priory of Sion due to the "Et in Arcadia ego..." mystery. But nothing obvious turned up. Except that the date of the £5 note incident was 17th Jan - a date that crops up in the Rennes le Chateau mystery many times. I had not heard of any of this until the "message".

Cont. as I can't tell how many characters I have left - how do I tell when on a mobile? Don' t want to crash mid reply like last time...
