May the Creator of all of the universe who is absent of all personality bless you richly by no worldly standard of measure or context.
. . . separates mankind from the Creator . . .
I believe that there is no god, controlling everything, being the cause and end of everything BUT demands your love or you get nothing, nope, no sir.

What that creator was is evidenced through what the universe is.
We see by observation and thinking what its intention was.
What we have to connect to is a spirit being we know as God.
Religion is to connect our persons to that person because to fail
at that is to loose touch to the one person who can do something
that prevents us from being obliterated into as many individual
components as we are divisible into and ceasing to any longer
be a person.

Some people have seen hell, including many saints.
Can you cite specific examples and I will take a look?
I have read stories from Mary K Baxter and others and come to the conclusion these people;
A) had visions / dreams, and embellished, misinterpreted, or flat out lied about them
B) there visions and dreams were full of symbolism and preconceived fundamentalist beliefs
Some of the stories are straight out lies done for money or fame.
And then there's also the possibility that the entity who visited these people showed them Hell, was not Jesus, but was the Devil or a demon, and showed them these elaborate (and realistic) visions, to further there agenda of scaring people away from Christianity by spreading false doctrine of a cruel sadistic barbaric pagan Hell.
And last but not least, go and research NDE's and tell me how many official, non biased NDE reports you find, that don't come from Christian fundamentalists, that show a fiery burning hell of torment. Check these sites out: www.nderf.org... and www.near-death.com...
One of the great dangers of this century, and thus one of the great triumphs of Satan, has been the growing disbelief in the existence of Hell. For many, Hell has become a fable, a myth, an outdated holdover from "the Old Testament God of fire, brimstone and judgment." Urged on by false doctrines and a want to believe that there can be no such thing as eternal punishment for serious wrongs "when Jesus is a God of love and kindness," many have thrown Hell out the window – along with concern for sin. After all, if there is no Hell, then why need there be concern for sin? Unfortunately, they forget that "I am the Lord and I change not" (Malachi 3:6). Hell has not suddenly evaporated because we would prefer it so. How subtle Satan is in these times. He increasingly tricks people into his web by disguising its very existence. He wants you to let your guard down. Please do not be deceived. Hell, eternal punishment for serious sins, exists. Scripture, the Church and reports of modern-day visionaries all confirm that Hell is a reality – never-ending reality for those souls who must reside there with Satan and all the other damned forever, because by their own free will and choice they rejected God while on earth and excluded themselves from communion with Him.

You have peaked my interest. Do you have a thread about your experience here on ATS, or a narrative of it located somewhere else? Please tell me more about your experience and the void, as you describe it.
And God's blessings to you all!
I don't either because it logically would make God evil. I recently gave up on the attempt to apologize for a "God created" evil and have adopted another sort of view from the ancient knowledge that there was something like a thought that existed in the void which expended itself into becoming a force to make order out of inert matter, which had a residual side effect of a degree of chaos which could not be helped.
I believe that there is no god, controlling everything, being the cause and end of everything BUT demands your love or you get nothing, nope, no sir.
I think the natural physical universe does that deconstructing on its own in an unthinking, uncaring way. The universe is not in a condition of shortage for spiritual energy so ones that exist need not be recycled so to speak. What I am proposing is that you as an individual, and not just a bit of energy, comes from God where He is the great individual and can pass that trait on to us for example, to be "in His image". What would be natural would be to just go back to being a bit of energy without whatever it has (before reverting back to the impersonal bit) in terms of a personality or the "you", as in your ego. What makes God, God, is His ability to be who He is, and something which He has done though eons and so earning the name, Ancient of Days. This is who we want to judge us and to find us worthy as an individual to continue being the individual who we are. Now there is like I said no shortage of bits of energy so we do not need to feel we are somehow depriving another individual the opportunity of coming into existence by holding onto what we are.
I do agree however that spirits continue and those that commit foul deeds can indeed be 'deconstructed' and rebuilt with new spiritual energy or go into the self chosen "void" (or hell if you want to call it tha) and segregate themselves from all other spiritual energy.
This is the truth about Hell, coming from a Christian. The truth is..... Hell does NOT exist. Atleast not as we commonly envision it. When most people hear of the word Hell, they think of an eternal place of fiery torment. The truth is, no such place exists.
. . . I could go on . . .
