The Truth as you say, cannot be proved. If any man was to prove it, it would not be truth at all. Its Faith Based religion.

Something that even thousands of years old, hasn't brought mankind into unity. It continues to divide. Even me from you. You think because I dont subscribe to what you believe that I am doomed to the hell you speak of and unless I believe I cannot have the dysfunctional Love you portray you have. See, you are in Catch 22 hell.

If our conversation continues you will get very angry and impose that I will at some point be separated from the Love you claim to have. That happens WHY? I will answer you. We are Human. Heaven Hell as you put it, God as you know him/it, is not human. Jesus was or was not. Cannot be proved either way. If this angers you or even makes you red in the face I am correct.

Why does the Creator of Atoms that uniquely create all of life with so much wonder have to demand our attention, our praise. Does that not reduce the personality of God to a Lap Dog or a Cat.
All of this insights Lucifer as Jehovah, YHWH, Allah. This is the very riddle spoke of in Matt.24:24

Its very relevant to today and what is happening. Doncha think?

I was in a process of writing to you and saying that I wish our Creators blessings be bestowed on you and that I will see you Heaven.

If you are a spiritual person and in touch with God, no matter what you call Him, be it Allah, or Vishnu, or whatever, and you die and God is merciful (and I pray he will be merciful on me, I am a sinner through and through), we will not be left in the grave for eternity, but we will be granted eternal life.

I expect to see Ghandi and others in Heaven.

God bless you.

This post was also not made to tell people they were going to hell....though my belief is that hell is reserved for truly bad people....even some atheists are most likely in heaven.

You are right religion has divided man, and we need to stop it.

Part of the reason I posted this was so fundamentalists would stop preaching hell fire and brimstone to non believers, it makes us Christians look sadistic and barbaric, not to mention the HUGE stain on Gods reputation this whole pagan Hell nonsense has caused.

May the Creator of all of the universe who is absent of all personality bless you richly by no worldly standard of measure or context.

All blessings from the What of which you speak
were dispensed at the coming about of the universe.
That included a personality who is a spirit of judgment
for good we normally think of as God
The good spirit balances the evil that is an unavoidably
integral component of the Physical.

With regard to religion its an all or nothing thing. Agreed! You cannot claim to believe only part of this doctrine or that doctrine. Or as Islam has done mix the best of all of them and throw in some manly satisfaction also.

Religion corrupts, separates mankind from the Creator only because of its human element of limitation.

have a great day!

. . . separates mankind from the Creator . . .

What that creator was is evidenced through what the universe is.
We see by observation and thinking what its intention was.
What we have to connect to is a spirit being we know as God.
Religion is to connect our persons to that person because to fail
at that is to loose touch to the one person who can do something
that prevents us from being obliterated into as many individual
components as we are divisible into and ceasing to any longer
be a person.

I believe that there is no god, controlling everything, being the cause and end of everything BUT demands your love or you get nothing, nope, no sir.

I do agree however that spirits continue and those that commit foul deeds can indeed be 'deconstructed' and rebuilt with new spiritual energy or go into the self chosen "void" (or hell if you want to call it tha) and segregate themselves from all other spiritual energy.

Can you cite specific examples and I will take a look?

I have read stories from Mary K Baxter and others and come to the conclusion these people;

A) had visions / dreams, and embellished, misinterpreted, or flat out lied about them
B) there visions and dreams were full of symbolism and preconceived fundamentalist beliefs

Some of the stories are straight out lies done for money or fame.

And then there's also the possibility that the entity who visited these people showed them Hell, was not Jesus, but was the Devil or a demon, and showed them these elaborate (and realistic) visions, to further there agenda of scaring people away from Christianity by spreading false doctrine of a cruel sadistic barbaric pagan Hell.

And last but not least, go and research NDE's and tell me how many official, non biased NDE reports you find, that don't come from Christian fundamentalists, that show a fiery burning hell of torment. Check these sites out: www.nderf.org... and www.near-death.com...

There are Hell NDEs too.

One saint's vision

There are many more.

olrl.org...

One of the great dangers of this century, and thus one of the great triumphs of Satan, has been the growing disbelief in the existence of Hell. For many, Hell has become a fable, a myth, an outdated holdover from "the Old Testament God of fire, brimstone and judgment." Urged on by false doctrines and a want to believe that there can be no such thing as eternal punishment for serious wrongs "when Jesus is a God of love and kindness," many have thrown Hell out the window – along with concern for sin. After all, if there is no Hell, then why need there be concern for sin? Unfortunately, they forget that "I am the Lord and I change not" (Malachi 3:6). Hell has not suddenly evaporated because we would prefer it so. How subtle Satan is in these times. He increasingly tricks people into his web by disguising its very existence. He wants you to let your guard down. Please do not be deceived. Hell, eternal punishment for serious sins, exists. Scripture, the Church and reports of modern-day visionaries all confirm that Hell is a reality – never-ending reality for those souls who must reside there with Satan and all the other damned forever, because by their own free will and choice they rejected God while on earth and excluded themselves from communion with Him.

The entire dream seems to be heavily influenced by pagan and greek mythological images and concepts of hell. I believe St Bosco was a pious and devout man, but I do not believe he was ever in a place called Hell where souls are tortured.

Maybe in his dreams, but not in reality.

Not to mention the website is affiliated with the Catholic Church, who have everything to gain by propegating the myth of a cruel hell of barbaric medieval torture.

This is rather easy to debunk as well - Scripture, the Church and reports of modern-day visionaries all confirm that Hell is a reality.

In fact, Scripture tells me that Hell is a place called Sheol, which is the grave, and non existence. I can give numerous examples of this. Hell is mentioned 53 times in the KJV Bible.

What do you think the meaning of this verse is?

Acts 2:31 "He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption."

Do you believe Jesus Christ went to hell? Do you think he was tormented in Hell? What did he do in hell?

More likely, Christ was dead and in "hell" for 3 days, but not in the cruel Pagan hell we know, he was in the real hell. Sheol. Let me show you a more correctly translated version of this verse:

"He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in the grave, neither his flesh did see decay."

Hell, used here, comes from the Greek Hades, which is synonymous with the Hebrew Sheol. Both mean "the unseen" or "the grave".

The term corruption used is more accurately rendered decay. It comes from Greek, diaphthoran.

The Church is not an authority for me, so their doctrines and theology really are invalid as proof to me. The Catholic Church is great for the most part, but there theology is way off out in left field.

And every report from modern day visionaries, the people who report the NDE's of hell, much more often than not, come from very religious backgrounds. Fundamentalist beliefs are pumped into there minds from a young age, and some of these visionaries live at a time when religious vision are all the rage in their village. These reports are also usually embellished, and then the Church or whoever is trying to parade the tales are fact, are adding to and editing the story.

Don't you find it amazing how these people can recant hours long dreams in vivid detail and remember every word of it? When was the last time you had a dream like that?

Don't you see how these peoples beliefs and environments are influencing these dreams/visions, and then fuel is being added to the fire by the people who share similar beliefs, and then spread these stories?

Please my friend I beg of you to research this with an open mind. Do not let church teachings or false dogma fear you. Remember, Love God with all thy heart, and love thy neighbor. These are what we live by.

Spreading lies of a pagan hell is not showing love for God!

Perpetrating the pagan hell as reality is a giant misrepresentation of Gods character!

I'm going to follow the Church because God has shown me the Church is true.

He descended into the realm of the dead to preach the gospel to the righteous dead. Now there are only two destinies, heaven or hell.

I believe that there is no god, controlling everything, being the cause and end of everything BUT demands your love or you get nothing, nope, no sir.
I don't either because it logically would make God evil. I recently gave up on the attempt to apologize for a "God created" evil and have adopted another sort of view from the ancient knowledge that there was something like a thought that existed in the void which expended itself into becoming a force to make order out of inert matter, which had a residual side effect of a degree of chaos which could not be helped.

I do agree however that spirits continue and those that commit foul deeds can indeed be 'deconstructed' and rebuilt with new spiritual energy or go into the self chosen "void" (or hell if you want to call it tha) and segregate themselves from all other spiritual energy.
I think the natural physical universe does that deconstructing on its own in an unthinking, uncaring way. The universe is not in a condition of shortage for spiritual energy so ones that exist need not be recycled so to speak. What I am proposing is that you as an individual, and not just a bit of energy, comes from God where He is the great individual and can pass that trait on to us for example, to be "in His image". What would be natural would be to just go back to being a bit of energy without whatever it has (before reverting back to the impersonal bit) in terms of a personality or the "you", as in your ego. What makes God, God, is His ability to be who He is, and something which He has done though eons and so earning the name, Ancient of Days. This is who we want to judge us and to find us worthy as an individual to continue being the individual who we are. Now there is like I said no shortage of bits of energy so we do not need to feel we are somehow depriving another individual the opportunity of coming into existence by holding onto what we are.

Yes, and the devil and his demons are parted from man. Hell is reserved. No man, no matter what he has done, can go there. God couldn't have said it any plainer. The reward of sin is death, but even then you'll be born in the newness of life.

Never mind, just twist the word to your own damnation.

I won't be responding to any more religious strings as people are continuously making god into something that's evil profound.

This is the truth about Hell, coming from a Christian. The truth is..... Hell does NOT exist. Atleast not as we commonly envision it. When most people hear of the word Hell, they think of an eternal place of fiery torment. The truth is, no such place exists.

You stop calling Jesus Christ a liar!

MATTHEW 5:22 Thou fool, shall be in danger of HELL FIRE.
MATTHEW 18:9 having two eyes to be cast into HELL FIRE.
MARK 9:47 having two eyes to be cast into HELL FIRE:
Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
MATTHEW 18:8
8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into EVERLASTING FIRE.
MATTHEW 25:41
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels:
REVELATION 19
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a LAKE OF FIRE burning with brimstone.
REVELATION 20
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
14 And death and hell were cast into the LAKE OF FIRE. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE.

I could go on about 200 more times.......JUST in the NEW TESTAMENT!

You liar. You fall right in the category

2 Cor 2:17
"For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

. . . I could go on . . .

A noticeable absence of quotes from John, so one out of four refuses to play the hell game.
The Gospels that do talk about hell are referring to Isaiah 66:24

They will go out and observe the corpses of those who rebelled against me, for the maggots that eat them will not die, and the fire that consumes them will not die out. All people will find the sight abhorrent.”

So the plucking of eyes and the cutting off of hands is metaphorical to what the Palestinian Jews should be doing to change to a degree to avert the judgment that was coming upon them for their feeling of how they were in no need of repentance and to follow what Jesus himself was teaching.
