I didn't say he was and archaeologist I said he was an egyptologist, there is a difference. The point is the structures in Egypt are on the order of 12000-14000 years old. Have you ever been to Egypt and looked at the Sphinx ??? I have ...

Well no, the definition of Egyptologist is:

an archeologist who specializes in Egyptology and the study of the culture and artifacts of the ancient Egyptian civilization.

Having been to AE many times I would suspect that your tour guide was probably just claiming that and thinking you were 'new age' people told you what you wanted to hear......when baksheesh is the order of business, science takes a back seat.

Those who have done their homework would know that the Sphinx of Egypt was built during the Age of Leo 10750 BCE - 8600 BCE and would have come to realize that humanity has been all but wiped out at least once before about 12,000 years ago and probably 3 times before. So, these 12,000 year old structures should be of no surprise.

People do seem to say that a lot but then the problem comes around that they have no evidence to support it.

lol

These weren't temples... these were TOWERS!

Why?

Why these heavy pillars at ground level? It's wasn't there to support the side walls. These kinds of pillars are obviously foundations to support a higher structure above.

No matter what, this architecture is amazing! They used to build such great things back then... now all we do are ugly cheap plastic houses and lame steel buildings. That's some "evolution"!

you gotta watch these guys with both eyes and your glasses on. for example, he claims gobekli tepe is several thousand years older than stonehenge or the great pyramid, but our dates for these locations were given by the same people who claimed ancient greeks couldn't write and ancient troy never existed. watch them carefully. research their claims.

mainstream egyptology could use some truth serum. some of the biggest people in egyptology are so mired down in lies to cover lies, avoidance of evidence, reinterpretation of everything that has a political or religious connotation they don't like and desire to rewrite history to fit an endgame, that looking to them for real evidence has been relegated to the hunt and peck method.

Why do we use BC as a date standard when Jesus is pure fiction?

oh well lookie there. not one thread on this topic can come up without dragging jesus into it. where in that reference does he mention jesus?

edit: oh nvm. i see now. well that part is arguable as far as i'm concerned. but let's just say that rome decided to change the calendar, and so it did.

did you know the screenplay for the original STARGATE movie, was written by 2 egyptologists from john hopkins university who put their THEORIES in it, and that the film maker originally turned it down, then 10 years later, decided to use it afterall, changed a few names, pretended like it his idea, and made it into a movie. the egyptologists took the guy to court and it was settled out of court.

this information was removed from wikipedia. it's still available in other places, but wiki's entry vanished.

I always wondered why if these civilizations are so advanced they can carve stones with such skill why are the carvings always so primitive looking? If you were going to carve an animal or a man wouldn't you sometimes make them more life-like and less cartoonish? Or maybe they were really into cartoons? Or maybe people and animals were not yet evolved and looked like Gumby and Pokey so the carvings are actually accurate representations? Dunno.

possible theory is that the original stone masons who cut and erected the stones were not the same people who carved them and they could be separated in time from each other by great amounts.

Great quote and I agree. I really don't get the attitude that there is NO discussion that there wasn't any outside help.
To many cultures write about "gods". You just don't have all these thousand ton type monolithic stones and that no culture ever had the capability of moving but mysteriously did.

I still want to know if Ernest Norman (starter of the Unarians) really told the truth about a civilization that lives under mars surface and they told him they had a culture here on earth but wasn't practical to continue so far away. Ernest Norman was told this by a being called "Nur El".

I am Not saying it is true but I am saying it should really be studied and found out scientifically and spiritually if want he is saying is true or not.
Was Ernest Norman truly telepathic?

I guess most people think the Unarians are kooks but I am saying if what he is saying is true it maybe part of the answer why we see these large stones. Were they truly moved by UFO's by sound waves or magnetic devices .
so powerful that we just cannot comprehend it.

Not sure that's true. Roland Emmerich studied at the University of Television and Film Munich. Neither he nor Dean Devlin ever studied Egyptology, but they sure are well-versed in alternative history and archaeology.

Emmerich and Devlin also wrote and directed the film 10,000 BC. In that film, the pyramids are already under construction, and the "hero" of the film kills the "god" who has made himself pharaoh.

that was a huge mess you just made! okay 2 egyptologists from john hopkins, who were NOT devlin or emmerich, wrote the original screenplay for stargate the movie based on their (the 2 egyptologists) theories about ancient egypt. at the time they submitted the screenplay to devlin, he said he wasn't interested, and then 10 years later, changed a few names and called it his screenplay. the 2 egyptologists from john hopkins took him to court and it was settled out of court. the reference is all over the place. wiki is the only one of those places that has the entry removed, because wiki is the only place where anybody can come in and edit stuff on the flimiest of evidence.

original entry
en.wikipedia.org...
new entry
en.wikipedia.org...

Internet movie database
www.imdb.com...

Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin were sued for stealing the storyline from a student of Egyptology named Omar Zuhdi who submitted the story to them about ten years before the movie was made (they "rejected" the story at the time). Zuhdi even had a well-respected Egyptologist from Johns Hopkins University vouch for him, since he put his own theories into the story. The only differences between the story and the movie are slight name variations. The issue was finally settled out of court.

Okay, that makes sense.
I'd never heard that before. In either case, though, it's obvious that Emmerich and Devlin are familiar with the material.

well yeah, they had to be, they made the movie! how could you make a movie and not be familar with it. it was based on the original screenplay written by two egyptologists who put their theories in it. it could be the wording is off a bit, and that only 1 egyptologist wrote it and the older egyptologist vouched for him because he had read papers written by the younger one, in which the younger one described his theories, but either way, the original inspiration for the stargate movie screenplay was based on the THEORIES of at least 1 egyptologist from john hopkins university and possibly 2. that information was removed from wikipedia as my prior post shows (i added links to the evidence)

Who were these guys? lol Troy was found by Calvert, an archaeologist. At that time (19th century) there was a debate as to where or if Troy existed. The Roman's thought it existed and that knowledge past with Latin into European thought. That part of Turkey was under Ottoman domination and excavation wasn't allowed until the mid 19th century. There was no consensus answer so your claim that archaeologists thought, 'ancient troy never existed; is false.

'Same people', Archaeologist aren't a race....lol

Would not surprise me Ive seen this happen before in my employment.

I've also seen my ideas suddenly become someone elses ideas with the person believing that
the idea was actually theirs and I had no influence on it. i was flabbergasted!
Some humans are plain old bunches of #.
