I am against unbridled capitalism myself... I don't think free markets
work in large markets that take insane amounts of money to compete in.
You have 50 private people running and controlling all three competitors...
Its a farce and an excuse to wage economic war on the rest of us.

A = 1
B = 1
C = 1

thats not competition, thats horse sheet

It is ironic....because you are all so concerned with saving the world.... You have no problem pushing your ideas and beliefs on others that are not willing.

The living definition of tyranny.

Socialism....Your basically putting your own fate in the hands of somebody else.

How? Quit saying things just to say them.

Basically every country in EU is socialist. And no one is forced to work a job they dont want...they can choose whichever job they want. They can buy whatever house they want.

You have no clue what you are talking about.

In capitalism, arent you putting your fate in your bosses hands, if he can fire you whenever he wishes? You dont have the money to pay for a doctor, now you have to put your life in the hands of a witch doctor or god knows whatever you can afford.

Tell me another tall tale, sparky. I know you use one sentence posts because you think it is intelligent, but you are just spouting jingoism at this point.

LOL you really are not here to talk about this, and learn from each other, you are here simply to blindly debunk everything.

If you did any research, and knew anything about this, you would know socialism puts your fate back into your own hands, and that it's capitalism that puts your fate in the hands of others (capitalist owners).

You are ruining what could be a good debate with uninformed nonsense, that we've all heard a billion times.

No I am listening. But my point is is that there is an element of Socialism within the halls of Congress and has been for the last 100 years. So pointing the blame at capitalism and capitalism only is nonsense.

Those countries have a higher standard of living than America. The euro is worth more than the dollar.

If Europe is becoming trash, what are we?

That is where you are wrong, among well, everything else. Talking about ideas is not pushing them on anyone.

No one forced you to enter this thread, and start pushing your uninformed nonsense.

LOL. They are unionized. They don't necessarily deserve those wages. They are in fact a burden, not just on America, but the whole world.

Adam Smith even believed, Pure Capitalism cannot exist without ethics...
Ethics are gone, so in the place of ethics, society needs to erect rules, laws
and standards. It's simple

The only reason I posted was for the OP who was seriously considering socialism. I pointed to the Socialist party USA website and told him to read up. Then I got caught in the crossfires and what ended up an interesting conversation even though it pisses me off to no end.

Wow, you are really indoctrinated.

Yes unions are evil!! I wish we could go back to the days of 10 years olds losing their arms in factories!

Ever heard of the Triangle shirtwaist fire? Its one of the reasons we dont allow capitalists to do whatever they want anymore, because they were hurting american citizens.

Face it, unbridled capitalism failed. You lost. Get over it, and come jump on the team for the big win. We are building a new future, and there is no place for greed and #ing your neighbor over for five bucks. If you want to live in the past, go ruin some other country, not my fine America.

Deserve?

What does a person do to deserve a Billion dollars? Talk about deserve???

Unions are great because they balance the power which is already naturally skewed towards
the employer.

It doesn't piss you off, I know a bomb thrower when I see one, like when I look in the mirror...

Admit it, you don't love reality, you love the crusade of your own construct.
