Now the mystery illness is "undiagnosed" and the parents want the CDC involved. Doctor David Samati (FOX news) read all the studies and has no answers "NO ANSWERS AT THE MOMENT". They have ruled out vaccines, ritalin, conversion disorder and a few others I can't remember. He also stated that in a couple months, (????? WTH) maybe the girls should see a neurologist. Parents and the girls want answers NOW.

Dr. Gregory Young of the NYS Department of Health said, "All these children have received treatment based on what they've been diagnosed with. We're not sharing anything because we can't due to HIPPA, and due to confidentiality reasons, but they all have been - they've all been treated and they're improving."

Wednesday night, administrators said all 12 students have been diagnosed and are being treated. They are not releasing causes due to HIPAA laws. They said they found similarities among some cases but wouldn't elaborate.

It is still a mystery as to what's going on with about a dozen teenage girls in LeRoy. Last night, the NYS Health Department said each girl with those Tourette-like symptoms is diagnosed and getting treatment.

3 local sources, all saying that the girls have been diagnosed, one directly from Dr. Young.

Gardasil could most definitely NOT be the only cause here, all over the world people have been having bad reactions to vaccines and in particular the Flu shot - as they are all female victims, it would be easy to say "Gardasil" but they are giving Gardasil to BOYS now too, so why are the boys not affected??? beacuse of the recent outbreak of Human to Human transmission of Swine flu i would hazard a guess that the flu shot would be to blame.. is it not standard practice for schools to require flu shots now that the Avian and Swine flu's respectively are starting to mutate and become transmissible between humans??? it makes perfect sense to my brain...

I get you. I just heard it on the news and typed as fast as I could. I will have to wait for hard copy info. That's why I posted because everything I had read and heard said they have already been diagnosed. Conflicting info for sure. Adds even more frustration to the situation.

That was my thought with the whole Gardasil thing. Gardasil and HPV vaccines aren't being given to JUST girls. They are being given to boys as well so they don't hold the virus and spread it during sexual activity. If it were Gardasil causing this, some boys at the school that received this vaccine would be having the same thing going on with them.

Be skeptical of anything Dr. Young says. He's not their doctor, he's a state public health official speaking on behalf of the state and big pharma. He is nothing but a public spokes person who is paid to say whatever he's told. He has a family to feed too, and I bet they eat pretty freaking great.

In 2009 alone "doctors" were paid 18 million dollars in speaking fees by pharmaceutical companies.

The conflicting information only makes me more concerned & that's why I listed a bunch of the articles I could find on it. (pg 6 of this thread) I was hoping the people here would pick apart the articles & find these conflicts. (ATS did not let me down. )

I just don't trust the officials to be honest that there is no danger to the community.

and yes, docs get a lot of bucks from the pharm cos. it's pretty disturbing. i never thought about the amount they must get from speaking fees. i don't trust most doctors.

Another suggestion, I hate to say, is could these girls have been poisoned on purpose? Teenage girls can be very cruel to each other and this could be some sort of revenge. Does anyone know of any poisons that could cause these symptoms and not leaving a lasting trace in the bloodstream?

Just because it's not hyped for boys and mostly marketed to girls doesn't mean boys still aren't getting it.
It's like saying LEGO's is only for boys because they market towards mainly boys. Girls play with LEGO's too, just as boys get HPV vaccines.

one doc says they have a diagnosis. the parents say they don't and want an investigation that the government isn't involved with. this should be national news. something is VERY wrong.

I absolutely do not trust these officials. They're the same people who wouldn't allow testing of my husband (who ended up in the hospital for the first time in his life) 2 of my children and myself for swineflu because I hadn't been to Mexico or British Columbia. The problem was I had just gotten back from a trip to New York City that had several people from B.C., one of which was sick. Our frustrated doctors knew what we had, but couldn't confirm it because the health department was limiting who they would test. (In my opinion, to reduce the amount of confirmed cases)

Since then, I've had little trust that the Helath Department is looking out for our interests.

If this is a flu vaccine related neurological issue, it may be worth investigating the links between Tourettes-like symptoms and the onset or development of 'Guillaine-Barre' Syndrome. Similar in some ways to 'mad-cow disease' or 'Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease'.

yes, i agree. boys do get the vax. girls play with legos but not at an equal amount. i'm just saying that it's likely that for every 20 girls who get the vax only one boy will (possibly less). i haven't found any stats but it's possible that not a single boy in that school has gotten that vaccination. that's all i'm saying. more girls have gotten the vax and not all will have a reaction. knowing how that sort of math works it's likely that no boys in a small sample will show a reaction. if 50 girls get the vax and only 10 boys do and the vax causes a reaction it's possible all the boys will be fine but 5 girls could wind up sick. does that make sense???

edit to further that - i think 100 or more girls have died following the guardisil vax but to my knowledge ZERO boys have.

A little more info on Desiree Jennings: appears the disease is psychogenic. Which doesn't make it fake necesarily but that the person believed it in their head such as phantom limb sydrome. Also, secretly filmed by Inside Edition walking normally, playing with dog etc.
