so where did Iran call for the destruction of the US? or any country...?
Iran has consistently been described by the United States as the world's foremost state sponsor of terrorism. It actively supports terrorist groups, most prominently the Lebanese group Hezbollah. The Iranian relationship with Hezbollah demonstrates one accepted explanation of why states sponsor terrorism: to indirectly influence politics elsewhere
The report charges that Iran's involvement in countries like Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and in the Palestinian territories threatens efforts to promote peace, economic stability in the Gulf and democracy.
The report singles out the Quds force, an elite branch of Iran's Revolutionary Guard as the channel through which Iran supports terrorist activities and groups abroad. The report also takes to task Syria, an Iranian ally in the region.
Around the time Chavez was in Tehran, a professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) began meeting with Iran’s and Venezuela’s ambassadors in Mexico, and computer engineering students and faculty, in a plot to build a cyberweapon aimed at U.S. infrastructure.
In a characteristically bizarre speech on Iranian television on Monday, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accused the United States of fomenting the on-going turmoil in the Arab world and said America “had no place among the nations”.
According to the transcript of Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s speech at a recent anti-Israel conference in Tehran, which was translated and published by The New York Times, he predicted and called for the destruction of the United States. The author of a new novel about a plot by Iran to inflict nuclear terrorism on America, Sheldon Filger, warned that ignoring the statement by Iran’s president could have grave consequences for world peace.
News headlines across the world exploded with the diatribe that emanated from the lips of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. According to Mr. Ahmadinejad, Israel must be "wiped off the map." However, it was not only Israel that Mr. Ahmadinejad threatened with annihilation. In a transcript of the speech posted by the Iranian Student News Association on its website, which was translated and published by The New York Times on October 30th, 2005, Iran’s president made clear his desire to see the U.S. destroyed along with Israel. Refering to the United States as "the world oppressor," Ahmadinejad said, "Many who are dissapointed in the struggle between the Islamic world and the infidels…say it is not possible to have a world without the United States and Zionism. But you know that this is a possible goal and slogan."

I wish Congress would impeach the President for going to war without authorization. I'm thinking they are a bunch of spineless wimps. Gee, wouldn't it be great to "citizens arrest" the POTUS?
The military needs to ARREST CONGRESS NOW before all hell breaks loose! The election is too far. The government won't listen to the protests... time for the army to step it up.
Yeah wait for Obama's signal uh? Eh you scum, CONGRESS declares war, NOT OBAMA. Obama ain't freaking GOD.
The economy will not crater if there's war.
War brings prosper
why do you think Russia and China are doing everything they possibly can to provoke us?
Why do you think Iran is working so hard to provoke Israel?

A military coup is indeed a valid mechanism for correcting a broken government, even a democracy, especially when the voting system is rigged. After all, the US GOV has been promoting and assisting military coups for generations now.

Just because the United States supports something in the interest of realpolitik does not make it legitimate. I suppose if Saddam's generals had staged a coup it wouldn't have been so bad, provided that they drafted a constitution and agreed to step down after free elections, so I don't disagree with you entirely. The problem is, military coups tend to form juntas and never step down. The thought of that happening in the United States should frighten everyone on the planet. I will award you a star for being open about your opinion, however.
