If I were to catch my girlfriend/wife in bed with another man I would bang both of their heads together, to show them both I mean business. Than I would stomp the hell out of the guys gonads so that he would think twice if he wanted to ever do something like that again. I would make sure he is rendered impotent for the rest of his natural life. As for the girl, I would pretend she didn't exist afterwards.

My first childs mother cheated on me when we were together, with one of my best friends. She told me while she was pregnant. I confronted the man the day after I found out, without violence, and 2 days later he ended up moving from Pennsylvania to Missouri with his mother.

As I grew older I realize that silent treatment or verbal confrontation has no ill effect on people that are serial cheaters. That is why I would now resort to head banging and stomping. It is much more effective at getting the point across and who in their right mind would go to the police to press charges on someone after they had been caught red handed cheating on someone elses lover?

This is a hypothetical situation,in real life I am sure that people think twice before any action, this the purpose of the thread,to get answers that we can analyze and to avoid a hypothetical situation like this!

I've been cheated on more times than I'd care to admit so the scenario has been played over in my head way too many times . I am fairly confident that is what I'd do, at least. Having been cheated on numerous times with the love(s) of my life and mother(s) of my children has had an affect on me that I will take to the grave, unfortunately.

Thank you for making this thread, I can see how other people would react/have reacted to something this filthy and someones response may sway me to pursue non physical retaliation.

The only way that situation is well handled is by scaring them for life as if they just watched a demon rise from the pits of hell and then beating them bloody.

And then throwing them out of my house.

And then changing my bedsheets.

Wow!

Let's continue this scenario...

And then being arrested for attempted murder, charged and found guilty.

And then losing your job.

And then losing your house and your kids (if you have them).

And then taking up drinking all day.

And then dying from conditions related to drinking all day, every day...

All because... what?

P.S. I'm just having fun with your response...

Sounds like a plan.

sometimes a beating is the only way to show how hurt and betrayed you feel only ppl who have been in this situation will understand this.

I'm guessing you have never experienced a "red out". I have once in the 7th grade after someone hit me. The only way I can describe it is you totally lose control. You move to the back of your mind and instinct and rage take over. I don't remember anything about the fight. I remember running at the kid, and the next thing I remember is walking back into the school.

Diplomacy works in every aspect of life not only in politics, depends what you want to take from life, good and bad.

let me tell ya something folks ..now a days with the internet, it makes it EXTREMELY easy to cheat. It's so easy to meet people online then hook up. I've been talking to a woman that has had a partner for like13 years and this chick is begging me practically to go lay down the pipe. Of course i find it amusing and shes not the only one on my list. I got a family member too whose hobby is meeting strangers online then meeting up for a one time thing. This is what i don't like about the internet, i would definitely hook up a keylogger to spy on my future wife.

Jealousy always do more harm, sometimes is better to not know,if someone it's not self conscious of his actions,it's hard to change that person.

A person can't be changed unless they want to change themselves. Even then, it's easier said than done.

I would consider myself lucky to have found out what a liar and sneak my partner is so I won't be fooled anymore, get my things without a word, walk out, and move on with my life.

I always said, and I will always say, that people are born with their character, the rest is education.

This is a decent answer and in the same time, very realistic. You can talk with him before you leave.

I would call my lawyer, as she's in violation of our prenuptial agreement.

This is another approach on the problem, the legal aspect, after all the other option has been flat out.

Doubt that talking helps and i doubt one can really be calm in such a situation and start a nice talk over coffee. Not possible, i can perfectly understand all the people that would go on a rage. I can only imagine what i would do, if say my Girlfriend (together for 7 1/2 years now) cheats, i don't know i would propably go on a rage and then kick her out of my house. No talk, no lame excuses, cheating is one of the worst crimes one can commit, it's hearbreaking in the most extreme way

What is the nature of your relationship with this person? If it is based on sexual attraction only, well what can you expect to happen eventually. So just walk away. I am older and have been with one man for 32 years. My goal was to have a partner through life, because I work better as a team not a loner. If my husband had cheated on me, it would have made him such a liar and broken my heart that I think I would have died from it. And I would have left without looking back.
