Was there an atomic war roughly 10,000 years ago?

My last post made me think: what will happen to the internet forums like ATS in the future?

If the world is not detroyed in 2012, or any time in the coming centuries, what happens?

Can you imagine ATS 300 years in the future, when we all here will be dead for a long time?

Just imagine someone posting in the year 2311: "Ha!! My great-grandmother started this thread, 300 years ago! BUMP it!"

No there's not.

all the "evidence" in this thread is from a single made-up source, which is in NO WAY matched by the reality of what people who've ACTUALLY been there find.

There's NO ancient radiation there. NONE.

No glass walls or vitrified stones.

What there IS, is a big ruin that's still standing (unlike, say, a nuked city), there's a few corpses, most of which WERE buried, not laying in the street.

If you haven't learned yet, learn now: Most of what's passed off as "true" on ATS is in fact untrue.

You can happily go to this ruin today, btw., you can happily read up on real archaeology done at the site, and guess what, it totally contradicts this one, single source, nonsense.

It's a famous place. There's a LOT written about it, and this has been REPEATEDLY and THOROUGHLY debunked in the past.

There is NO EVIDENCE that this is true. NONE. ZILCH.

A war 10,000 years ago ties would tie in with the theory of a Super Bunker built over 10,000 years ago.

Have a read of this thread. 10,000 year old super bunker

Here is a challenge. Is there area around the Great Pyramid radioactive?

If mankind has in our current state roamed for 200,000 years, with recorded history encompassing 3% of this time, I think your assertion has a quite a validity to it.

Quit with the attitude, by who's hand is this proven "DEBUNKED"... do you decide for the world?
I really do not understand what is with this mindless debunking some people do on here, its as if it is ALL they do, without ever bothering to question evidence or sometimes lack-of evidence.

Tell me, have you ever used your brain to think of the possibility. Or do you defame and debunk everything in existence 'because you can' and your textbook told you it is wrong, so it must be wrong!

There's NO ancient radiation there. NONE.

Have you been there with a geiger-counter and proven that for yourself, to indefinetely say there is none?

What there IS, is a big ruin that's still standing (unlike, say, a nuked city), there's a few corpses, most of which WERE buried, not laying in the street.

Buildings in Chernobyl and Hiroshima were still standing afterwards, the radioactive radius goes beyond the destruction of the impact site, and a nuclear bomb does not typically flatten everything in sight. The other obvious thing, is that if an atomic weapon was launched millenia's ago... why would it act in the exact same way as our idea of a 20th century nuclear weapon?

If you think of cavemen using tools in the past, do you picture them driving JCB's and using powerdrills?

You can happily go to this ruin today, btw., you can happily read up on real archaeology done at the site

You too. I think you should.

Yuh, so has roswell, jfk, and everything else because... who said so?. There is no way to "debunk" something as you think... the problem with debunking something is as if you have an envy for some reason... for example, this is what comes across to me:

"Oh my gosh this makes perfect sense to me, i got it all wrong, and now i will hide my shame by continuing to deny any form of questionable documentation photograph or video!! Without even considering the slightest possibility whatsoever!! You are all wrong!" ... blah blah... blah.

I don't decide, the dozens and dozens of archaeologists that have written about it decide. The thousands of people that have been there and have seen none of the evidence of nuclear blasts decide. You're not arguing with me, you're arguing with them. It's one thing to say, "hey I'm ignorant of the truth"... it's another to say, "I've seen the truth and CHOOSE to stay ignorant"...

I challenged you to provide ANY evidence to the contrary, and you can't. Because there is none.

Wow, people really get emotional when you write a differing point of view.

What happened to this place? No one can be refuted and everyone is absolutely right and those who are wrong (everyone) is a &^%&%^ of some sort.

Real mature community we got going eh?

How about agreeing to disagree, posting only facts without opinions in order to further the research better? Wait, that would make too much sense. Apologies...please keep the trolling/flaming going it's quite entertaining while, here and there, reading bits of info on the topic.

"Like OMG this site told me it's true, your a moron and the way you research is the suck"

"Nooooo, you suck and the page you linked is full of ads I hate therefore your message is going unheard"

"your still wrong"

"no you are"

etc...

Well, firstly you cannot know the truth unless you have seen the truth, the only way to know the truth is to SEE it. I am not the one claiming anything is true here, i am stating that its interesting to look at things from another view. Unless you have personally visited this site and documented your findings 'yourself' along with being around during that era in time... then unfortunately for you, you have also not seen the truth.

I wasn't arguing with anyone as a matter of fact, i was asking why you are so demanding that this is "FAKE" or "DEBUNKED".

You also didn't challenge me for "evidence", because is was not my intention to provide any, as i was making a point. If lack of evidence is the problem, then why can people be so consistent to believe in deity's yet there is no evidence whatsoever to back those claims... no one can know if there is a god or not... that can be put into contrast with this thread subject. This is suggesting an event 10,000 years ago... speculation, there is no need to provide solid hard evidence, because it cannot be done... we barely even know anything about the past 10,000 years of our history. Its not about proving or disproving anything... it is about looking at what could have happened and coming up with a theory... by looking at observations, in exactly the same way that archeology and science work.

There is never "one" single answer.

Evidence proposed does not prove that the site mentioned was a nuclear bomb, but there are facts that show ancient nuclear bombs may be in fact possible.

Admitting that point would prove you have somewhat of an open mind and your repeating yelling shows your immaturity.
If you want to get mad for someone's beliefs you should not be posting here at all. It's quite childish.

With all the technology needed to reach planet Earth from the closest inhabitable planet (even 10,000 years ago when our universe was not as large), they decide to use atomic weaponry?

Maybe atomic/thermonuclear weaponry really is the top of the food chain? We assume we'll develop antimatter bombs or something more exotic, but maybe there isn't anything more practical than a nuke? Maybe aliens fly around the galaxy using Orion-style nuclear pulse production, so they always have some nukes handy?

Of course, there's no evidence they dropped any of these nukes on us, but if interstellar spacecraft exist, they may well carry nuclear bombs in their holds.

Actually there is some evidence that backs up this story in the Hindu book the Mahabarata. There have been skeletons excavated from ancient buried cites between the Ganges River and the Rajmahal Mountains. Radiation levels recorded from these skeletons and artifacts are 50 times greater than the surrounding environment.
