OWS Website Bans Alex Jones

Alex Jones makes some good points, but lots of daft ones. Not only that he is making money out of conspiracy, if he was such a dangerous rebel to those in power he´d have been taken out by now.

Very good observation.

For a truly Apolitical site ATS has provided a wide variety of Forums and boards in an attempt to accommodate opposing views on a wide variety of topics from all sides trying to be all inclusive.

I never read anywhere where ATS claimed to represent the 99% though as some sites do apparently.

Alex Jones is as far from a journalist and producer as you can get. Good journalist don't have to make up stories and videos and then charge for it...if its news its free. He is an entertainer similair to BOZO the Clown

Why is ok for the cooks in NY to not feed homeless people but yet you claim to be for the 99% and most of you act homeless (the camps are proof)
why cant you clean up?
why are there people getting raped, murdered, etc at the camps?

here, let me redefine it.

once upon a time, townhall meetings were not always held in public places because maybe they didn't have a townhall yet, and as a result, if the weather was poor, they might gather in the local church building or a tavern or home. the church, tavern and home were all private residences but once the people congregated for the meeting, everyone understood it was for all the members of their district and it temporarily became a public venue and each of their opinions mattered. (or should have, and if they did otherwise, they were doing so outside the inherent rights and laws of the land). if let's say, the town drunkard showed up, his opinion still counted.

Fair enough. George Soros is just the right-wings final boss villain. All the right-wingers back this theory and from what i hear the protestors consider him part of the 1% that they are against, despite his sympathies towards it. Another right wing scare tactic sponsored and brought to you by Glenn Beck and other right wing lunatics.

i don't really care who george soros supports.it's his money let him spend it how he wants. but he better not be spending it in order to remove free speech from this country.

This is exactly what I think.

Jones will take any opportunity to become the center of attention if he can. I'm sure he would love nothing more than to believe himself to be some kind of leader in this type of movement. Next thing you know, he'd be out there ranting on his bullhorn and then the media would focus on him to discredit OWS as some protest by the "conspiracy loons."

And don't even get me started on David Icke. The OWS movement needs to stay the hell away from these two men if they want to be taken seriously. The media would have a field day if these two men were at the forefront of this protest.

by supporting platforms that encourage some speech but discourage other speech. it's disengenious! both sides appear to be doing it now and they need to stop. we don't need to be spoonfed only one side of the story or the other. as human beings, we, alhtough perfectly capable of being lead around by the nose, are also perfectly capable of drawing our own conclusions from all the data. it is, afterall, part of the problem that only some news gets reported in mainstream land.

i'm not a big supporter of alex, but you can bet i'm supporter of his right to be heard in a public venue on a private site, just on the principle of the thing. it's like the news. they use to just report the news. now, they report the news with their personal view points, which is fine, it's a privately owned organization, but shouldn't they also include alternative views and not always tilt them to one side or the other?

the rest of the 99% surely feels jilted when fox does that and cnn does that, so why should ows be given a pass?

Why do you think people should get free college? - People are seeking the ability to actually be able to get and land a job fresh out of college instead of being forced to sink themselves further into debt via more school since they aren't hiring.

why cant you clean up? - We've been spotless and have activated Sanitation crews in each camp.
why are there people getting raped, murdered, etc at the camps? - Not one murder has occured as if you refer to the incident in Oakland, CA Oakland PD reported about 2 days later that the incident had nothing to do with #OO as to the reports of rapes, assaults and thefts each and every incident has been turned over and reported to local law enforcement!

those are just the starters....
