More religious nuttery, and not even half assed like the other ones...This one seems to be more like a quarter assed, so they put even less effort into it then the other ones...."Not that I have anything against religious people" I like some of them, and some have some good points.

But still this is just getting ridiculous the lengths some of these people take it to, and the whole celebrities and actors getting into it and sponsoring it....I could find a facepalm for that.

But better yet this commercial says it all.

There actors, not saints not even the brightest people around, definitely not demigods.
They just play all those roles on TV.

Scientology is yet another case of religion gone amok. Show me a religion that does not pass the hat in some way and I am on board. All of them are made up fantasy-land to put us at ease with our own deaths...nothing more. Turns out to be profitable too. Giant buildings do not build themselves from a god's will.

No one knows what happens when we die...no matter how many times you want to pay to be audited, how many baptisms you have, how many confessions you go to, how many souls you "save" or how many people you blow up to see your 72 virgins, no one knows. If they say they do and you believe them, you are lining their pockets and you are the sucker. I have had an NDE and it wasn't pleasant - there were no demons with pitchforks, it was just the blackness of the end of the journey and I fought like a mothaf to stay here. I stayed and I wasn't profoundly affected by it other than to cherish every moment we have and to love as best as you can. Love is the only true religion...it doesn't make you go see people you don't want to see, it doesn't make you dress up and try to impress other people, it doesn't keep track of how much time or money you give...it just is...and it is why we are here. That is my "religion". Donations welcome.

yes, you don't see it's all a joke:

in short: L. R. Hubbard was complaining that he's not making enough money with writing, so his SciFi writer colleague told him to invent a religion...

I was so intrigued by scientology in 2009 that I decided to check out a local "church" or whatever the hell they want to call that place. What an awful experience. They tried pushing me into "disconnecting" with any loved ones who do not have the same beliefs as scientologists. They also told me to work my way up I would pretty much have to be their slave, and STAY there...........or pay money.
creeps. Luckily, I gave them a fake name, just in case.

Their intentions are not to help you, their intentions are to control you. In everything you do, from sleeping to going to take a bath. You do know their so called followers are payed pittance for their work yes?

That is what Scientology is. It is there to make money for its leaders while the rest of the flock either work themselves into exhaustion, or are driven to commit suicide over their financial or other situations which involve Scientology.

Becuase they are trying to turn it from cult to religion, Scientologist have to pay for their medical courses and cures provided by Church and they are discouraged to use normal medicines and they are really discourage to visit doctor rather they are forced to by multivitamin from Church to be in good health, these celebrities are winning Lions share from that profit margin.

And that is why there have been many unresolved death cases, which have involved the Cult of Scientology. Rather than being open about any incident. They even managed to obtain files from the FBI, by planting one of their own inside the FBI. So yes I would not even go near the cult that is for sure.

And if they even tried to go anywhere near any members of my family. I would be lifted for assault that is for sure.

Just saying, a group a Scientologist tried to murder my step grandfather with a mailbox bomb.

He was a writer for the readers digest and wrote a big article exposing Scientology which started some uproar, so they planted a bomb in his mailbox in northern va, then ironically a few weeks later his wife was killed in a hit and run. Pretty #ed up people if you ask me.

About 9 or 10 years ago my wife and I (we are divorced now) were hanging out in a very trendy part of St. Louis and were approached by a young woman who offered to give us a free "IQ" test. We thought what the hell and followed her to the HUGE Scientology building a few block up the street. Now, they separated us from each other for the test (same room but to far apart to talk) and we were each "assigned" a "certified test admin". Now, I have taken an IQ test before, a friend of mine who was a psychology major had me take one, and this was not any normalized IQ test. It looked more like a personallity test of some sort. I have always been pretty level headed and had a pretty good childhood, but my then wife did have alot of emotional baggage and came from a broken home and suffered some abuse in her childhood. Well, I thought it was a bit strange, but for fun we took it. When completed the "certified test admin" looked over our results, and what do you know, they really had no interest in me at all, but were all over my wife. They wanted her to attend meetings and buy books and courses to help her solve her issues. And this stuff is not cheap buy the way, and as you go up the line it gets more expensive. They also kept trying to get her alone in a office to discusse her treatment, well needless to say, we left. But they proceded to call her (they want phone numbers, I gave a false one) and try and get her to come back. These calls went on from a long time(over a year), and when she finally switched cell phone carriers she got a new number and it finally stopped.

It seems to me they really try and prey on the ones who are vunerable and those who are weaker minded.

As someone who not too long ago was a scientologist, I can say that scientology is truly unique in the way it brainwashes its members. The whole religion from the very beginning is designed to reeducate and reform your thought process by simplifying it down to that of a child. In doing so it makes you pliable and imaginative so it becomes literally impossible to see all the fallacies present in the religion. Its amazing really.

I was a hardcore Scientologist until I was eighteen and it came out that I was a sexual deviant. I was even in the sea org until I had a tryst with a fellow member.

Now that I am twenty five and just barely recovering from the emotional and mental scars scientology left on me, I still can't believe I fell for that crap and its pathetic to watch my parents and brother waste their time and money in it. I am even angrier with my parents for putting me through it all.

The most dangerous part of Scientology is not the money it takes, but the way its members do not value human life at all.

There's a great essay called The Total Freedom Trap. www.cs.cmu.edu... I recommend it to everyone. Its an easy read and I can tell you every word of it is true.

There's also a book called "Inside Scientology" by Janet Reitman. Its provides a wonderfully unbiased view of the world inside Scientology. It's also very accurate.

It took only a few minutes of looking into the history of Scientology to see that they had a large campaign to bring in celebrities and created these celebrity celebration centers and treated them differently...this is why they have so many celebrities in my opinion....

Just another luciferian cult. Not much mystery to it.

All religion started out as a cult one way or another...

Really?

To quote my link, this really is ubsurd and to think the inner members were meant to believe this completely:

Xenu was about to be deposed from power, so he devised a plot to eliminate the excess population from his dominions. With the assistance of psychiatrists, he summoned billions[4][5] of his citizens together under the pretense of income tax inspections, then paralyzed them and froze them in a mixture of alcohol and glycol to capture their souls. The kidnapped populace was loaded into spacecraft for transport to the site of extermination, the planet of Teegeeack (Earth).[5] The appearance of these spacecraft would later be subconsciously expressed in the design of the Douglas DC-8, the only difference being: "the DC8 had fans, propellers on it and the space plane didn't".[21] When they had reached Teegeeack/Earth, the paralyzed citizens were unloaded around the bases of volcanoes across the planet.[5][8] Hydrogen bombs were then lowered into the volcanoes and detonated simultaneously.

Taken from the wiki link. Most religions tend to have enough elements in them that they are believable but reading the above is like reading a section out of a fiction book (after all L Ron Hubbard was a Science Fiction writer). Only other thing I have read similar to this is modern Christianity, at least the other religions try to use reason and logic (Islam, Sikhism etc).

I have to say one of the main reasons i reconsidered my stance on the religion was because of this website. As well as my own personal bad and horrible experiences while working at the church.

I for one am just tired of the "TRUTH" costing money!

So much BS in the field of "Religion" meant to be for the betterment of mankind...it should be free!
The whole seek and ye shall find always appealed to me and donations are ok…but when you ask for money then you seem petty and your secret knowledge must not have empowered or enlightened me and instead just enslaved me to the same old standard model that we have had for 1000's of years!

I suppose the initial draw for celebrities is that some celebrities weren't particularly good at school, and so when they found something they were good at the really ran with it, and for the church of scientology to then say that that same person aced their iq test plays to their low self esteem. As scientology has 2 iq tests an easy one for celebrities, and a harder one for everyone else. This then tells that they are a genius: the same person may have had a hard time in life with everything else except being and becoming famous. They are of cause flattered and once in, scientologies well practiced conning and brainwashing takes hold. Then there is the other route, you want to be famous and so must network; as scientology has lots of famous members then that is a good place to network if you want to be famous, they get conned and brainwashed as well. This is little different however to how a lot of religions function: perhaps a little more subtler. The thing is if someone is famous people immediately think the person must have lots of other good traits: contrary to most evidence. People seem to enjoy stars messing up, having to dry out, getting caught with hookers, going to jail, but at the same time give them credit for good judgement. They get so famous that they have no point of reference for normality. In some ways this makes them easier to pray on for scientology than other people. However once they are in, they encourage other people.

I hope you have not become too jaded as I did after some similar experiences within some other "religions". But I have found through my search that there is a Creator and that (he/she/whatever lol) loves us. And that love truly is universal and something that unites us all. I feel for anyone who has found themselves mislead and sometimes brutally or mentally abused in the name of any "Religion" There is nothing holy or reverent in denying someone’s only sacred life purpose and trying to destroy their immortal soul. We all have a childlike innocence in our hearts that is taken by evil but that does not mean we cannot find our way back and see the light of the truth that we are loved and we need to share love. And finally stop perpetuating this unhealthy dysfunctional system within most organized religions.

There's also interesting tidbits like this..

Has Primary Colors Become Clinton's Cultgate?

I've heard from several people that they are run very much like a mafia. They own some of the best real estate in Hollywood, and they often use that to flex their power in different ways.

I drive by their main headquarters, the enormous blue building on the east border of Hollywood almost daily. Have to admit it's really pretty.

There are a couple good documentaries floating around youtube about it. One in particular where a journalist (in Europe I believe) does some undercover reporting and gets involved with the church. It's really interesting to say the least
