Last July, Adbusters Media Foundation announced they were organizing a street protest to occupy Wall Street. Founded in 1989 by Kalle Lasn and Bill Schmalz, this Canadian firm describes itself as “a global network of artists, activists, writers, pranksters, students, educators, and entrepreneurs who want to advance the new social activist movement of the information age.” They are anti- Capitalism, anti-consumerism, pro-environment, and pro-violence.

Adbusters is financed through its magazine subscriptions, but it also received grants the last ten years totaling $185,000 from the Tides Foundation, which is partly financed by the mastermind of financial destabilization, George Soros. Soros announced his sympathy for the protestors and has committed his organizational and financial resources.

You need to understand that OWS isn't a political party. Just cause some guy wants to start a political party does not mean that all of OWS falls under that party.

OWS is just a bunch of people that realize how messed up our economic system is (among other things) and want to do something other than sit on their ass at home and rant on forums! (not saying that's you!)

People will try to profit or push their own name using OWS but don't let them fool you! For OWS to work we need people to realize this.

Don't we all want it to work?

Don't we all want a better system?

I don't care who founded OWS that means nothing to me.

I may have a different perspective about OWS though.

But i don't believe i'm wrong. OWS has really stuck, and if the people involved (yes, even the everyday people) actually want change they won't be fooled.

Part of the reason i believe in my way of thinking has a lot to do with the diversity of people protesting and the amount of them.

I question the "new" political party coming out of this protest.
I question the BIG money that will be behind this new political movement under an OWS banner.

They want us to be afraid. My friends dad sold his company to Proctor and Gamble in real life, for 300 million. He IS part of the scary "illuminati" based on how much he earns. I met him, and guess what? He is a normal guy, just detached from reality. There is NO ILLUMINATI.

The Occupy protests, that are in every country on earth... are not left wing, anyone with a brain understands this.

These are just people, including business owners, Military people....teachers...


You name them... they are there.

There is no point arguing with people who try and tell you that it is a left wing communist movement or that some maniacal mastermind set it all up to take over the world.

Um unless an actual court holds such proceedings its just hot-air at most. As for calling for revolution have you really done the math on this one to see which side is going to win, or even if the OWS crowd actually has the popular backing that it likes to think it does?

On one side, we will have the socialists. Oh, they won't call themselves that. They will be carrying the OWS banner, proclaiming democracy, peace, join us or you're against us, free medicare, free schooling, free housing, jobs available for all.

On the other side will be the fascists. Oh, they won't call themselves that. Led by Janet Napolitano, they'll be the ones offering safety and security. Freedom from worry about bills, mortgages, health insurance.

Once they clash, and the dust settles, the ones that support the free market, individuality, responsibility, personal freedom, individual freedom, we'll come in, pick up the pieces, and renew the OATH to the Constitution.

So go on. Fight. Yay! Revolution! (whatever)

We'll be waiting until you all are done.
