That's only true if you can prove in Gods existence. Who is to say that Paganism wasn't the true religion of God? Pagans did not murder Christians over their religion. They worshipped everything and truly practiced 'all life is sacred' unlike Christians. Also, they did not listen to God and in essence defied him.
