I understand your hesitance to discuss Israel since it's not part of the thread title. But Israel has a direct hand in the international pressure causing these BS reports to be published in the first place.

So really you shouldn't start a thread on this topic and not expect Israel to get mentioned.

Yeah well Terms and conditions of ATS are quite succint about thread topics and Israel wasn't in that op.

Mentioning Israel is straight up trolling.

I'm sick and tired of giving my money to countries that will use it to kill me, when my fellow Americans are not doing well. So sick if funding that crap for them.

Yeah Iran's nuclear program was really for "peaceful" purposes everyone knows they want the bomb and wow a Pakistani weapons design.

Errr...back on topic.

Nanotechnology applied to weapon-design doesn't sound outrageous to me at all.

And you're correct, funding to Pakistan should stop immediately, if not a year ago.

I assumed the Iran-Iraq war was what you were referring to. Sorry if I was mistaken.

We have no business interfering in that region and we should be working to make amends with Iran and other nations who we've p***ed off over the years instead of being dragged into needless conflicts with them.

This is nonsense almost every America soldier knows for fact Iran has funded insurgency and terroist acts in Iraq and around the globe. Every combat soldier knows beyond hear say, By capturing Iranian insurgents and weapon cashe's. So dont be fooled they have indeed spilled American blood probably as recently as today, they just do it behind closed doors as to not awake a sleeping giant they fear, and hate.

how many nuclear missile tests have Iran done?

Didn't you get the super top-secret classified documents?

Nuclear weapons can be built and tested in a computer simulation program... Iran has the software and supercomputers to do that, and they have been... Every scenario is covered, design, materials, testing and modifications can be made before they ever build one.... Thanks to their Russian friends, and a big thank you to A Q Khan in Pakistan for making it all possible.

You really don't have to actually do a live test anymore. Live tests are to show your enemies that you have one now, but not necessary.

I also find this really annoying, this hate for America's military might. You seem to forget all about the Twin tower's first bombings, the uss cole, the black hawks shot down, the list goes on and on. The point is there was a almost twenty year period of America blood being spilled before a precise and direct response to these insane terrorist. You see "they", the terrorist, seem to be under the impression that if they can just hold America, and it's allys in a long drawn out war, by hiding in civilian cloth's that they are going to beat us. They
seem to think this is some cold war scenario as romantic as that sounds. America dosent play, you see when you kill our people with a bomb, we have 100 laser guided missile's that can blow one mans a** to kingdom come, while dude in the next house is chillen drinking a beer. They think they can economically drain us, HA These fools dont realize America profits off of war. Always has, always will. I know, i know some of you are going to cry about that last statment, but come on if your an Iraqi you must hate terroist for bringing this shame to your countrie. Im done ranting

I agree. We do not have any business Unless they directly make threats to the US homeland

However, here is what their neighbors who do have business/interest/keen knowledge about them are saying:

Saudi crown prince rules out compromise with Iran

MECCA (AFP) - Saudi Crown Prince Nayef Ben Abdul Aziz on Tuesday ruled out any compromise with Iran over allegations of Iranian involvement in a plot to murder the Saudi ambassador to Washington.

“There can be no compromise with Iran concerning the assassination bid because there is no need for it,” the crown prince, who also holds the interior ministry portfolio, told a news conference in Mecca.

“We are ready to deal with any scenario... with any means necessary,” he added without further details during an inspection tour of preparations for the annual Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca, Islam’s holiest site.

Iran wants Bahrain as its ‘crown jewel’ - minister

CAIRO (AFP) - Bahrain's foreign minister on Tuesday accused Iran of eyeing the Gulf monarchy as "the crown jewel" in a campaign to penetrate the Gulf, and called for Arab support in confronting Tehran, according to official Egyptian media.

"Iran always looks at Bahrain as the crown jewel," Khalifa was quoted as saying by the official Egyptian news agency MENA, adding it is the entry point into the Gulf.

"Gulf countries should not have to stand alone facing Iran, [other] Arab countries must be responsible, and Arab publics must pay attention to Iran's dangers, which come under a thousand guises. The threat is grave," he said.

America's military might may be hated, but also feared and respected.

America's weaknesses are all domestic, and will be exploited to the fullest, most already have.

Democracy was fun. influencing corporate America also fun!

Enraging radical Islam against the USA... even more fun.

Ultimately using terrorist proxies to attack the USA in a grand Islamic retaliation will absolutely be a blast.

IMO

Those links reinforce exactly what I've said before, that this is a regional issue. We should not be supporting either side of this conflict that is brewing. We should be distancing ourselves and preparing for any adverse affects on our economy and national security, not encouraging someone elses war.

I am for most country's having nuclear weapons, or at least ways of defending themselves. And Iran seems to be in the middle of it, you best believe they got eye's set on them.

One thing is for sure countries with nuclear weapons and ways of fighting back don't get invaded.

Plus it would make sure that if they actually are stupid enough to go to war, then I would prefer that they blow themselves up to kingdom come, and all go extinct. That way there will be less idiots around for the world and regular people to deal with.

So ya off-course Iran is trying and is in the process of nuclear weaponization...They and any other sovereign country out there would be stupid not to try to do that. It's a jungle out there, and the ones without a defense or a way of keeping predators at bay get eaten. Some predators come with swords and drums, and some come with presents and friendship, but all have different means to the same ends.

I think america better quit playing these games, and funding those who play these games, keep to your own house ways and means...And if any country, entity, and whoever or whatever they are, if they start #...Well then it's time to end #, and send them all into the next dimension....Till then it's just a circle jerk that only benefits a few.

Not only are you all outsourcing your job's, but your ways and means and weapon systems as well. Sorry america but this time around you all just cant afford to play that game.....And others know it, and so have there eyes set on you.

The people who run Iran are.........................CLERICS..................................they are not politicians, they are extreme religious fundamentalists of the worst stripe of a very wacky sect known as the 12'vers.

It is totally pointless discussing what Iran might or might not do unless you recognise that 12'ver doctrine is front and centre of their thinking!

Kind of works that way... But, there is only one "supreme leader" THE Ayatollah, his power is absolute and above all.

This is the true leader of Iran.

Not so scary looking, is he?

Russia seems to know this is all lies.In Bloomberg nonetheless.

UN’s Iran Report May Contain ‘Political Dishonesty,’ Russia Says

Aye.

From your article there:

“I think you need to exhale, calm down and continue a constructive discussion of all issues of the Mideast agenda -- Iran’s nuclear program and all other issues -- and not threaten the use of force in this situation ,” Medvedev said yesterday. “It may end up in a big war and this will be a catastrophe for the Mideast.”

Now you figure, the Russians, better than anyone at this point, are qualified to know Iran's capacity to make war, considering they are one of Iran's weapon suppliers, as well as having considerable investments in Iran's nuclear energy program. A war in Iran is the last thing they want. And which is why:
